Abstract

The focus of this research was ‘How is the form, content, and modes of language segment in the indicated media has many implicatures?’ The problem was studied by using a qualitative research design. The data were collected through observation, documentation, mingling, and focus group discussion. The data collected were analyzed by using the phenomenologist technique. The data fact “Everyone who commits obscene acts with other people of the same sex to person over 18 years old shall be convicted of the same criminal offenses if they use violence or threat of violence; violating public decency; publish; or contain pornographic elements”(note: the same sex, no violence or threat, no infringement,…., no pornography, is punished?) Language segment found in media was judged as (i) need to be reviewed, (ii) has pseudo certainty, (iii) open less satisfied opportunity, (iv) cause biased, and (v) lead injustice. Statements used in media that cause disgraceful behavior were not found. The modes of language use in media are intended to (i) give lessons, (ii) change behavior so that it does not violate the law, and (iii) fix reputation. Regarding the form, content, and mode formulated in media, it is suggested that statements must (i) be arranged in complete and flawless sentences, (ii) contain messages that cannot be refuted by anyone, and (iii) easily understood by anyone, not only law enforcers.

Abstract

The spread of COVID-19 outbreaks makes learning activities in Indonesia become online learning. Online learning is followed by new problems, those are limited internet data, bad internet networks, and the use of many applications. Online learning in Indonesia must be immediately optimized because the COVID-19 outbreak is not over yet and there is a discourse that online learning will be applied permanently. The teacher can optimize online learning by building a website as an online classroom. If teachers build their websites, they can adjust the features on the website based on the online learning problems and the subject matter needs. Based on a questionnaire distributed, 83% of student respondents agreed if the teacher made a website. Besides, most of teacher respondents think the website can optimize online learning. The idea of the website as an online classroom is expected to contribute ideas and alternatives for online learning programs in Indonesia.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that continuous to improve and develop its education system. The development of learners abilities that are needed nowadays not only develop cognitive ability alone will be much more than that, it needs an attitude awareness in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of the problem-based learning model with mind mapping technique. Biological material used in this study is the subject of the virus. The first research result is learning the model of learning for student cognitive learning result. Based on the results of ANAKOVA analysis shows the significance level less than 0.05, then this shows the significant effect of the difference between the learning class and control class on the learning achievement of cognitive aspects. The second research result is to test the difference of learning the result of the affective domain between problem-based learning model with mind mapping technique and conventional learning model. The result of learning effective sphere which is assessed based on direct observation covering 5 indicators namely; Discipline, daring opinion, responsibility, cooperation and tolerance, Based on the analysis One sample t-test 2 indicator shows the level of significance less than 0.05, then this shows there are significant differences 2 indicators of effective learning achievement. 2 indicators are daring opinion and cooperation.

Abstract

Mathematics is an exact science or science of certain knowledge about the logic of the form, order, scale, and concepts that are related to each other. In mathematics teaching, the understanding of the concepts of the essential very important. The understanding of the concepts of the essential that both will make the students put the concepts of the concept in the long-term memory system and can use them to think on a higher level thinking such as problem-solving and creative thinking. The understanding of the concepts of the essential that will aid them in reaching the specified minimum value in formal education. But in fact, many students who are still far from the ideal condition. The understanding of essential concepts in mathematics for material operation count is still low. In addition the number of students who successfully reach and exceed the minimum value formal education less than 70%. This is what causes the number of teachers must perform a remedial learning classical. Not yet on the actual condition, many students who are not able to follow the lessons but can still up the class seems to get "values" mercy from the teachers. If things like this continue to happen, then their understanding will not be formed as a whole to be able to continue teaching on the next material that the fact of the matter is the lesson materials that more complex. The Kumon Method is a unique educational method, which does not generalize the ability of each student. Based on individual guidance and learning at the right level, Kumon wants to develop each child's ability and maximize its potential. Kumon appreciates the value of independent learning.  Thus, individual guidance is one of the basic features of the Kumon Method. The key to an individual guidance is learning at the right level when students can advance independently without being specifically taught. With the Kumon Method, students learn independently from an early age and develop both a high level of academic ability and the ability to learn independently or in  Kumon better known as the  "ability to learn independently". Individual guidance Kumon method allows each student to learn at levels that best suit their academic ability, regardless of age or level of schooling, and to advance beyond the current school levels.
