Abstract

Balikpapan is a supporting city for the Capital of the Archipelago, which must have a notable icon for its progress. It comprises six districts, one of which is Balikpapan Tengah, consisting of six sub-districts: Gunung Sari Ilir, Gunung Sari Ulu, Mekar Sari, Karang Rejo, Sumber Rejo, and Karang Jati. The area is home to 4,575 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME). The objective of financial report recording assistance is to aid MSME in calculating the costs incurred in producing goods or products intended for sale by business operators.The assistance method involves providing training and guidance for entrepreneurs who join the MSME forum in each sub-district. The outcome of this assistance is that business operators can calculate production costs, determine the selling price, and create financial reports, including cash flow and profit and loss statements. This initiative aims to elevate Balikpapan's status by empowering MSME in Balikpapan Tengah to better manage their financial aspects. By enabling entrepreneurs to accurately calculate production costs and set competitive prices, the program contributes to the economic development and sustainability of these businesses. The training and guidance provided through the MSME forum serve as a crucial step towards enhancing the overall economic landscape of Balikpapan

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement a web-based Goods Inventory Information System at PT Bayan Resources Tbk. The company faces challenges in inventory management, such as stock uncertainty, variations in order cycle time, and operational efficiency levels that need to be improved. Waterfall method is used as a framework for system development, with stages of requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is designed to improve operational efficiency through integration of inventory data, order management, and item tracking. The result is a web-based application with features such as a secure login page, informative dashboard, master data management, efficient input of incoming and outgoing goods, and careful user control. With the implementation of dark mode, the system gives users the flexibility to customize the display according to their preferences. Users can easily access, track, and analyze inventory data, supporting faster and more accurate decision-making for the company.

Abstract

The development of a student attendance delay monitoring application at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Penajam Paser Utara is the main focus of this activity. By utilizing web-based technology using PHP and MySQL, the goal of this community service is to improve the efficiency of managing student attendance. The implementation process involves needs analysis, application design, development, testing, and training of school staff. Application installation, data collection, monitoring, and routine maintenance are practical steps taken. Community involvement focused on socializing the application to students and school security/gatekeepers. The evaluation of the activity included an assessment of success, positive impact and reflection on the application development process. Conclusions and recommendations from this activity form the basis for improvement and development of similar activities in the future.

Abstract

This community service activity is motivated by the fact that the process of writing correspondence at the East Kalimantan Province Tourism Office still relies on manual techniques. Therefore, efforts are needed to provide education and improve technical skills related to designing a special website for management of entry letters at the Tourism Office. The main focus of this activity is to replace manual methods with more efficient information technology solutions, namely designing an incoming mail website. With this design, it is hoped that the Tourism Office can more easily manage and input correspondence, increase efficiency and reduce the potential for human error. The method used in developing this website is the prototype method, allowing the Tourism Department to directly participate in the design process and provide input to ensure that the final result meets their needs.

Abstract

The logo is related to the product brand which can be a competitive advantage for MSMEs. A logo can become a business identity and visual attraction for traditional snack MSME products. The aim of this activity is to strengthen business identity through logo design training and obtain sustainable results. The method for implementing this service is socialization and design practice tutorials for Mrs. Sie's traditional snack business. The results of this service activity are giving product logos to Bu Sie's traditional snacks, increasing sales turnover, strengthening business identity and also as promotional media. MSMEs receive education about logo design and how to make them using tools commonly used in printing, thereby facilitating the production process while reducing the cost of printing logo stickers.

Abstract

In the Malind Anim community in Buti, many couples only marry based on customary law, so they do not yet have a marriage certificate. The aim of this community service is to provide understanding to the community about the importance of registering marriages and also to facilitate people who have not legally married to be registered and to carry out marriages in churches and civil registries. The implementation method is carried out in 3 stages, namely starting from data collection, counseling about the importance of legalizing marriage as an administration for eradicating educational backwardness and implementing mass weddings. The result of this service was that 24 couples had entered into religious and legal marriages and 24 of these couples had religious marriage certificates and also marriage certificates from the Merauke Regency Government, namely the Civil and Population Registry Office.

Abstract

Guidance and Counseling Services is a part of the education sector with the task of helping the effectiveness of students' lives based on the harmony of adolescent development tasks. Guidance and Counseling is the provision of assistance carried out through counseling interviews by expert people (counselors) to individuals who experience a problem with the aim of solving the problem and allowing the individual to utilize their potential, so that the individual can understand himself to achieve optimal, independent and independent development. can plan the future. The method of this service is carried out with classical services in the classroom during guidance and counseling hours as well as individual services carried out in the counseling room in the BK room. The conclusion in this service is that classical guidance and counseling services with fun methods can attract students' attention to listen and understand the material presented and individual guidance and counseling services with closed and confidential methods make students more comfortable to be open in telling their problems.

Abstract

This ecoprint training activity aims to increase the knowledge, skills and understanding of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 026602, Tanah Seribu District, Binjai City, in utilizing natural materials in flowers or leaves that can produce colors. And also develop students' creativity so that they become creative and sensitive to the surrounding environment. This activity is carried out through the extension method, through 3 stages, namely: 1) Activity needs planning stage, 2) Implementation, and 3) Results presentation. Community service activities were implemented for 16 fifth grade students at SD Negeri 026602. The results of the Community Service activities were that the ecoprint training in Tanah Seribu sub-district, Binjai City went well. This is proven by the participation and enthusiasm of students at SD Negeri 026602, Tanah Seribu District, Binjai City. Researchers hope that knowledge from activities like this can be applied in life, giving rise to an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age.

Abstract

This journal examines the benefits of logo rebranding as an effort to increase value added in MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises). In the case of this journal, it focuses on Menyenk Cafe MSMEs located in the Tenggilis Mejoyo Village area, namely MSMEs in the field of food and beverages whose sales have decreased and the lack of attractiveness of buyers. In this case we use a community service approach between us as researchers and the owner of Menyenk Cafe in Bina Desa activities with the theme of entrepreneurship and we go directly to MSMEs in the place where we conduct Bina Desa in Tenggilis Mejoyo Village. In rebranding the logo is adjusted to the identity and needs to increase value added to Menyenk Cafe MSMEs that experience sales and attractiveness constraints. So that this logo rebranding effort is expected to be successful in increasing sales and attracting buyers.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in students' development, particularly in understanding their talents and interests. SDN 037 Kota Bangun faces challenges in efficiently and accurately determining the talents and interests of its students. In this community service initiative, an expert system using the Forward Chaining method is employed to address this issue. The service methodology includes problem identification, the design of a Visual Basic-based expert system, student training, and result evaluation. The expert system utilizes identified criteria through Forward Chaining to provide recommendations for students' talents and interests. Evaluation indicates positive feedback regarding understanding and ease of system use. The results of the community service show the positive contribution of the expert system in expediting the determination of students' talents and interests. However, further development is needed to enhance the system's accuracy, especially in handling students with more than one talent. This implementation is considered a positive initial step with potential for further advancement.
