Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman siswa dan guru dalampenerapan metode pembelajaran inkuiri pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial(IPS) di kelas 9 SMP N 10 Semarang yang menggunakan Kurikulum Merdeka. Metodepenelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi untukmemahami pengalaman subjektif peserta didik dan guru. Data dikumpulkan melaluiwawancara mendalam, observasi kelas, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa metode pembelajaran inkuiri mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa,mendorong kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan memperkuat pemahaman konsep IPS.Namun, terdapat beberapa tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu dan kesiapan guru dalammengelola pembelajaran inkuiri. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelatihanberkelanjutan bagi guru dan penyesuaian waktu pembelajaran agar metode inkuiri dapatdiimplementasikan secara optimal dalam Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Penggunaan model pembelajaran yang tepat akan berdampak pada keberhasilansuatu proses pembelajaran. Penerapan model Problem Based Learning padapembelajaran IPS akan berdampak pada keterampilan berpikir krtitis peserta didik.Karena ilmu IPS merupakan ilmu sosial yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-harimaka peserta didik dapat mengkaji secara kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahui dampak dari penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learningdapat mendorong berpikir kritis peserta didik khususnya pada pembelajaran IPS kelas VIISMP Negeri 13 Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengandesain deskriptif yang bertujuan menggambarkan secara mendalam fenomena yangdialami subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitain menunjukan bahwa penerapan modelpembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat mendorong keterampilan berpikir kritispeserta didik pada pembelajaran IPS. Oleh karena itu, model pembelajaran ini efektifdigunakan untuk mengembangkan kemapuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalampembelajaran IPS.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology presents complex moral challenges for Generation Z, such as value disorientation, weak role models, and negative social media influence. This study aims to examine Hamka’s concept of ethical education and its relevance for shaping Generation Z’s character in the digital era. Using a qualitative approach through library research, this study analyzes primary texts by Hamka, including Tasawuf Modern, Falsafah Hidup, and Lembaga Budi, supported by recent academic literature. The population includes Hamka’s main works and contemporary studies on ethics and digital generation challenges. Sampling follows purposive criteria based on thematic relevance. Data were analyzed using content analysis to interpret ethical values in Hamka’s writings within today’s character education context. The results indicate that core values such as honesty, responsibility, simplicity, sincerity, and self-control remain highly significant in addressing Generation Z’s moral issues. These values integrate well with Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum and the Pancasila Student Profile, providing practical guidance for educators and families. The study concludes that Hamka’s ethical philosophy offers a robust framework to foster noble character amid digital challenges. Future research should incorporate empirical data to evaluate the practical implementation of these values in educational settings.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the high recidivism rate among narcotics inmates and the need for a contextual Islamic religious rehabilitation approach at Class II B Correctional Facility in Mimika. The research aims to describe the implementation of Islamic religious guidance as a continuous crime prevention effort, including its supporting and constraining factors. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participative observation, and documentation. The population included narcotics inmates, religious instructors, the prison chief, and spiritual supervisors; purposive sampling selected seven key informants. Data analysis employed Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. Results reveal that religious guidance is effectively implemented through disciplined five daily prayers, regular recitations, and Quranic literacy practices, supported by strong collaboration and inmate engagement. The conclusion emphasizes the significance of Islamic religious rehabilitation in spiritual recovery but highlights the need for enhanced facilities, human resources, and individualized approaches to address inmates’ diverse backgrounds. Practically, the study recommends multi-stakeholder synergy to reduce recidivism rates.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the need for Islamic character formation in early childhood through hidden curriculum amid modern moral challenges. The objective is to describe Islamic teachers’ strategies in internalizing Islamic values through educational games at Tadika Al-Fikh Orchard. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using field study methods. The population included teachers, a principal, and students at Tadika Al-Fikh Orchard Klang, Malaysia, with a purposive sample of three teachers, one principal, and six children aged 4-6 years. Main instruments were participatory observation sheets, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s model and NVivo thematic analysis. Findings reveal teachers’ strategies comprised exemplification, habituation through games, and reflective dialogues to internalize Islamic values, generating positive responses from students and parents. The conclusion confirms educational games as an effective medium for internalizing Islamic values, highlighting the crucial role of teachers as facilitators and role models, with recommendations for method innovation and enhanced parental involvement.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the need for Islamic character building in early childhood through hidden curriculum amid modern moral challenges, focusing on Tadika Brilliant Buds Edukids. The objectives are to describe the implementation of daily Islamic greetings habituation, student responses, and supporting-inhibiting factors. Employing descriptive phenomenological qualitative approach with data triangulation via participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Population includes 56 students aged 4-6 years across three classes, three teachers, and one manager, selected via purposive sampling. Main instrument is the researcher with observation-interview guidelines, analyzed using Miles-Huberman model and NVivo thematic analysis. Findings reveal structured implementation yielding 70% positive spontaneous responses, supported by teacher exemplarity and religious environment, yet hindered by curriculum time constraints and monotony. Conclusion affirms behaviorism's effectiveness for moral internalization, recommending method innovations and parental collaboration.
