Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are the backbone of the national economy. They are capable of driving the community economic growth and absorbing a large workforce. Despite the quality of products produced by SMEs being on par with those from manufacturers, the simple packaging often makes these products less attractive, limiting market reach and competitiveness. This issue is compounded by the lack of understanding and skills among SMEs regarding the importance of packaging design and how to redesign currect packaging to make the products itself more attractive. This community service innitiative aimed to address these issues through socialization efforts that emphasized the significance of packaging design and the need for attractive product packaging redesign. Pre-test and post-test results conducted before and after the socialization indicated an increased understanding among participants about the importance of packaging design and redesigning, which can enhance consumer interest and boost sales

The implementation approach includes the socialization and dissemination stage, training stage and partner business mentoring stage which is carried out in stages to overcome partner problems. Training on designs, motifs and forms of ulos weaving begins with providing material about the nature of woven motifs, types of motifs and motif development according to market needs. Before weaving, weaving begins with a 'kneading' process, where the threads are arranged parallel to the width of the weave. Abstract

Abstract: This community service activity aims to improve marketing and product development for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises( MSMEs) in Cibatu Village. The implementation of Community Service activities is carried out using lecture, guidance and dialogue methods. Based on the results of observations and sampling interviews with participants, it can be concluded that the implementation of PKM provides additional knowledge for participants regarding packaging to support the development of MSME businesses, not only that, MSME players also gain basic knowledge about labels as information about the products being marketed. This PKM also emphasizes the importance of presenting products in an attractive manner. It is hoped that this will actually help get more attention from potential consumers when they see the packaging of the product being offered. In the packaging of a product, the packaging can be small or large according to the type of product. Marketers consider packaging issues to be the 5th aspect after the "4P" price, place, product, promotion. This means proving how important the role of packaging is in marketing industrial products

Abstract

Student Work Lectures (KKM) are a form of cross-disciplinary and sectoral community service carried out by students at certain times and places. Implementation of KKM training generally lasts between one and two months and occurs in city-level areas. The Directorate General of Further Education throughout Indonesia hopes that every university can implement KKM as an extracurricular activity that strengthens the tri dharma of further education, in particular: training, exploration and local regional administration. Social intervention is an approach used in community service. Social intervention is a planned change effort towards individuals, groups and society based on kinship and independence. The essence of social mediation is to work on the ability of friendship (humans, groups, society) which is the goal of progress. It is generally accepted that achieving a state of well-being will be easier for someone whose social functioning is good. Data collection is the most important stage of intervention because this is where social workers gather the information needed to solve the problem. This can help regions make progress in various fields, especially education, welfare, religion and parties. This KKM student completed training in Cibatu Village, Cikembar District, Kab. Sukabumi. Residents of Cibatu Village generally invite the emergence of students to make changes through strengthening areas that work together
