Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the closure of the Tanjung Batu Merah localization site, Ambon City, on the income of community retail traders around the Tanjung Batu Merah Localization. The sample in this study were 32 retail traders. The data collection technique in this study was a questionnaire. The analysis technique used in this study was t-test analysis. The t-test used was a pair sample t-test. Normality, Homogeneity test, Linearity test. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the profit of retail traders, before and after the closing of the localization place, the decrease in the average profit of retail traders before and after the closing of the localization place was seen from the average profit of the traders before the closing of the localization place of Rp. 1,326. 562, - decreased to Rp. 568,750, - after the localization place was closed, as well as the income of retail traders, seen from the average income of traders before the localization place was closed, amounting to Rp. 2,627,812, - decreased to Rp. 1,102,625, - after the localization place was closed. Meanwhile, the sign value of the t-test obtained was 0.000 0.05 indicating a significant impact on the income and profits of retail traders in the Tanjung community, Batu Merah Village.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which the learning outcomes of grade IV students at SD Negri 2 Belikurip have increased after the application of the demonstration method to learning rotation and revolution of the earth and the occurrence of lunar and solar eclipses. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were 11 fourth grade students at SD Negri 2 Belikurip. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle held 2 meetings. The first meeting explained the material using the demonstration method and the second meeting was to carry out tests. The results of this study concluded that with the demonstration method it can be concluded: (1) active learning reached 11 students or 100% with an average value of 92; (2) learning outcomes reached 11 students or 100% with an average value of 90.9; (3) The activity and learning outcomes reached 11 students or 100% with an average score of 91.5 or all of them were in the very good category (A).

Abstract

Efforts to build an independent defense industry is a strategic goal in strengthening national identity. The aim of this research is to find out the Defense Economic Strategy in Realizing the Independence of the Indonesian Defense Industry. The results of the study show that one indicator of the independence of the defense industry is to produce its own defense and security equipment without any intervention from other countries. The Indonesian government must be able to make the independence of China's defense industry a spirit model for the development and independence of the Indonesian defense industry by consolidating and strengthening capital for the domestic defense industry, increasing competitiveness in producing defense products in global trade competition, and conducting collaborative technology transfer cooperation. to increase the ability of the national defense industry to realize the independence of the defense industry.

Abstract

This study examined the use of effective development communication programmes in abolishing the practice of female genital mutilation, (FGM) in south east Nigeria. The study aimed to examine the development communication programmes employed specially for combating and abolishing FGM in southeast Nigeria; to determine the extent to which these development communication programmes helped in combating and abolishing FGM in southeast Nigeria; and to identify the challenges associated with the use of development communication programmes in combating and abolishing FGM in southeast Nigeria. The descriptive survey method was used. Findings revealed that in as much as the practice of FGM has been on a visible decline over the years, development communication programme only existed in theory and never got to the grass root. It also found out that there was no awareness of and participation in the entire intervention programme. This study recommended that focus should be given to establishing increased awareness of intervention programme, which will only commence after there is a change in the perception of the practice of female genital mutilation (FGM), and ultimately lead to the achievement of the SDG by 2030.

Abstract

Planning or Planning is a way to decide what steps must be taken to achieve a goal within a certain period of time. While training is learning that is prepared so that the quality and quality of an individual can increase in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. Training at PT. Batam Aero Technic is more focused on the ability to improve the performance of its employees according to their jobs. This study aims to determine the management of employee training planning in PT. Batam Aero Technic especially in the implementation and scheduling process based on the Calendar of Training in one year. This research is classified as participatory research or direct research, using interview techniques, observation, and documentation. Data analysis in this study used a qualitative descriptive method. The research was conducted in the Quality Assurance Training department using primary and secondary data collection. Primary data includes the results of interviews with respondents, while secondary data was obtained from company documents, namely manuals and journals related to Manual Procedure Training at PT. Batam Aero Technic. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the main objective of training at PT. Batam Aero Technic has been running quite well as evidenced by the increased knowledge and ability of employees. The training material provided is quite appropriate by providing material in stages and in accordance with the functional jobdesk of each employee. Furthermore, the method used in determining employee training is considered to be in accordance with the company's operational standards so that employees can attend training properly. The scheduling process in training planning uses planning based on the Calendar of Training in one year which is very well prepared, this certainly makes the planning process for PT. Batam Aero Technic becomes more effective. because employees can find out what training will be carried out each month

Abstract

Land is the surface of the earth while land rights are rights over a certain portion of the earth's surface which is bounded, has two dimensions with length and width. The factors causing the lawsuit for the Property Rights Certificate which was canceled without the knowledge of the legal owner at the Tanjungkarang District Court Study of Decision Number 101/Pdt.G/2021/Pn Tjk, there are 3 main factors namely: the factor of unlawful acts committed by the Defendants, Factors the two Plaintiffs suffered losses in the form of material and immaterial losses, and the last factor was the existence of a causal relationship between the parties in which the co-defendant had deliberately issued SHM No. 511 which still contains an ownership dispute between the Defendant and the Plaintiff. The consideration of the panel of judges in the lawsuit for a Property Rights Certificate which was canceled without the knowledge of the legal owner at the Tanjungkarang District Court Study of Decision Number 101/Pdt.G/2021/Pn Tjk is that the Plaintiff's lawsuit has not can be used as a reference for the Panel of Judges to examine the lawsuit material because there is still a shortage of parties in this case.

Abstract

One of the airports serving flights in Malang, East Java, precisely in Pakis, Kab. Malang is Abdulrachman Saleh Airport. Abdulrachman Saleh Airport is an airport managed by the East Java Provincial Government through the Technical Implementation Unit. The purpose of this study is to find out whether workload affects job satisfaction, does the work environment affect job satisfaction, does workload and work environment both affect job satisfaction, and how much workload and work environment affect job satisfaction Job Satisfaction of employees working at UPT Abdulrachman Saleh Airport Malang. This research is included in the group of quantitative research. The research was conducted at UPT Abdulrachman Saleh Airport Malang from 1 to 30 November 2022 where UPT Abdulrachman Saleh Airport Malang employees were the objects of this research. The source of the data used in this study was obtained from distributing questionnaires to the respondents of UPT Abdulrachman Saleh Airport Malang. The results of the study concluded that there was a significant influence between workload and work environment on job satisfaction of 26.8%.

Abstract

Political parties based on statutory arrangements, namely Law No. 2 of 2011 concerning Political Parties, regulates the functions of political parties, one of which is political recruitment. Of course, this arrangement is governed by the cadre section, without cadre formation it means nothing, political parties need a renewal of generations to renew their capacity to run political parties. The position in Indonesia's political development, especially in Natuna Regency, Riau Archipelago, must display quality leaders to manage the survival of the party. For example, the Prosperous Justice Party or in short PKS has pretty good electability in Natuna Regency. The PKS political recruitment process is regulated in statutes and bylaws intended for Indonesian citizens to regenerate party members. This study aims to determine the process of political recruitment of the Regional Leadership Council of the Prosperous Justice Party of Natuna Regency in selecting cadres for political positions and party positions and to find out what factors are the basis for determining political recruitment. The research used by the author is a qualitative research with descriptive method through an inductive approach. The author uses primary data and secondary data to obtain research data. Primary data comes from interviews conducted with informants while secondary data comes from KPU Regulation Number 20 of 2018 concerning PKS AD/ART, requirements for prospective legislative candidates, Management Structure of the Prosperous Justice Party Regional Leadership Council in Natuna Regency. Collecting data using interview techniques, qualitative observation and documentation. Results/Findings: The results of the study show that the recruitment system created by the Prosperous Justice Party in Natuna Regency is open recruitment by providing opportunities for all citizens to compete in the selection process. Then the determining factors in the political recruitment of the Regional Leadership Council of the Prosperous Justice Party in Natuna Regency were personality, party ideology and finances. Everyone who fulfills the requirements has the same opportunity to compete in both political and administrative positions. So, every candidate for the Prosperous Justice Party public office is decided by the Prosperous Justice Party DPD in Natuna Regency. According to Rush and Althoff, the pattern of PKS recruitment in determining legislative candidates for elections is closed.

Abstract

Over the past few years, the intensity of use of the term "Indo-Pacific" has been increasingly encountered in various strategic discussions. Currently, the Indo-Pacific is an important area that reflects global geopolitics in the 21st century because it is the most strategic international trade and shipping route. In addition to its strategic location, the Indo-Pacific also causes various threat dynamics, especially due to the presence of various large countries in the region that are trying to exercise their hegemony. The dynamics of threats that are often encountered in this region include issues of the South China Sea, US-China rivalry, maritime disputes, and maritime security. In the midst of the increasingly complex dynamics of threats in the Indo-Pacific region, the Indonesian Navy has the duty and support for creating regional security through the role of Navy diplomacy. This article uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The several theories used are regional security complexity theory, threat theory, and naval diplomacy. There are three important points elaborated in the discussion including: The security complexity and dynamics of threats in the Indo-Pacific region, Regional cooperation to achieve regional stability, and Implementation of the Indonesian Navy's diplomatic role in the region.

Abstract

The large number of junior high schools, zoning system, and pandemic raises problems regarding the decline in the number of junior high school students and MTs Muhammadiyah in Malang City. There are quite a lot of factors behind the number of registrants. However, as an effort to solve the problem, the preparation of promotional media with the right language and media is expected to help increase the number of registrants. This service activity aims to provide training and assistance in the preparation of school promotion media for Muhammadiyah Junior High Schools and MTs in Malang City. Devotion is carried out by the method of 4 stages of the creative process, namely preparation, incubation, illumination, and verification. Based on the activities that have been carried out, it was found that one of the problems in promoting the registration of new students was the lack of ability of teachers to determine the superior activities that would be offered to prospective students. In addition, the visual communication design in the poster has also not been able to provide clear information to the reader. Through intensive training and mentoring, satisfactory results are obtained. Teachers can create interesting and targeted school promotional media.
