Abstract

Purpose: This community service activity aims to provide training for MSMEs in Bandar Lampung regarding risk management in business development, business licensing procedures, and IPR registration as well as bridging free legal aid institutions for MSMEs who need legal assistance. Methodology/approach: This community service activity is conducted in the form of training related to legal literacy for MSMEs in Bandar Lampung. Results/findings: The pre-test and post-test showed that the participants' knowledge before socialization was 57%, and increased by 19%, that is, 76%. In this way, partners are more aware of the importance of having a business license and mitigating risks in running a business, as well as other benefits, such as securing legal protection and running business operations safely. In addition, it can make it easier to develop your business, such as collaborating with other business actors, and making it easier to export and import products. Limitation: The limitation of this community service activity is that it looks into the problem faced by MSMEs in Bandar Lampung, which does not have a business license to run the business. Contribution: Partners gain a better understanding of the legal problems and solutions for MSMEs, such as how to make it easier to borrow funds from banks. Other benefits include the provision of business assistance by the government.

Abstract

Purpose: Using the Online Single Submission (OSS) platform (oss.go.id), this mentoring initiative seeks to assist Medium and Small Enterprise (MSME) partners in achieving company legality. The service staff also provides thorough sharia financial training in an effort to inculcate Islamic ideals. This entails improving knowledge of sharia principles, raising awareness of Islamic financial products that are accessible, and making it easier to access finance options for businesses. Methodology: The program takes a multifaceted approach that incorporates discussions, lectures, and practical experience. This approach guarantees that participants may immediately apply the knowledge to their company operations in addition to comprehending the theoretical components. Results: The program has demontrate that MSMEs can better position themselves to obtain finance from a variety of sources and are more capable of attaining sustainable development. These include of government grants and funding initiatives like Islamic banks' Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR). Additionally, having a legal corporate standing gives access to larger markets, such as contemporary commerce and export prospects. Limitations: MSMEs in Bandar Lampung City are the focus of this mentoring program because of their need for business legality and comparatively high degree of technology awareness. Contribution: This activity provides significant added value by addressing critical challenges faced by MSMEs, particularly in navigating the legal and financial aspects of business operations. By equipping participants with practical skills and knowledge, the program enhances their ability to compete in increasingly competitive markets.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this Community Service is to increase knowledge about making AI-based teaching modules and to produce complete teaching modules that are in accordance with the demands of the Merdeka curriculum. Research methodology: Community Service activities consist of preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The implementation of Community Service is carried out using lecture methods, interactive discussions, direct practice, assignments, and collection of teaching modules to increase teacher abilities and creativity. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire with the criteria of activities running very well to not well. Results: The implementation of Community Service is carried out using lecture methods, interactive discussions, direct practice, assignments, and collection of teaching modules to increase teacher skills and creativity. The products produced by teachers are complete and intact teaching modules that can be collected on the Google Drive link. This link can be accessed by the principal, teachers, and study programs as facilitators in mentoring sessions during assignments. Proof that teachers have completed the training is in the form of a 32 JP certificate that can be uploaded to the PMM account to add teaching points. Limitation: This training may be limited by the infrastructure and technology access conditions at SMPN 3 Sungai Kakap. For example, limited hardware such as computers, unstable internet, or limited access to more sophisticated AI devices can limit the effectiveness of the training. Abstract

Purpose: The management of used cooking oil waste poses a significant environmental challenge, as it is often not properly managed, resulting in negative impacts on human health and the environment. This training aimed to increase housewives’ knowledge about the dangers of used cooking oil waste, provide skills in making soap as an eco-friendly solution, and support family economies. Research methodology: This activity involved three stages: preparation, implementation, and monitoring evaluation. During the implementation stage, participants received materials on the impact of used cooking oil, a demonstration of soap-making, training in basic bookkeeping, and marketing techniques. Results: The evaluation results showed that 86.7% of the participants intended to apply training at home. The activity had a positive impact by raising environmental awareness and opening new business opportunities for participants. Limitations: This community service is limited to the scope of RW 016, Simpangan Village, and involves only 14 participants; therefore, generalizing the results to a broader community requires further evaluation. Contribution: This research is useful in the fields of community empowerment, environmentally-based waste management, and social entrepreneurship, particularly in densely populated areas with middle-to-low economic levels.

Abstract

Purpose: This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of health students about Patient Centered Care (PCC) as an effort to reduce the level of postpartum maternal pain. Methodology: This community service activity was carried out on health students who were practicing at RSUD Ibu Fatmawati Soekarno in Surakarta City. This activity was carried out through several stages, namely pretest, education, demonstration, and posttest. Results: The results of the community service show that students experienced an average increase in knowledge of 85.33% and an average increase in PCC practice of 76.22%. Limitations: Community service activities are carried out targeting health students in 1 practice area. Health students who were practicing at the time the activity was carried out were the targets of this community service activity, namely midwifery and nursing students. While other health students were not involved because they were not practicing at the time the activity took place Contribution: This community service activity can be an alternative in improving the knowledge and skills of Patient Centered Care of students who are prospective health service providers in the future.

Abstract

Purpose: This community service initiative aims to enhance social welfare in Dlanggu Village, Deket District, Lamongan Regency by disseminating community service outcomes. The program focused on empowering local communities through poverty alleviation, education improvement, and sustainable livelihood development. Methodology: This study employed participatory rural appraisal (PRA), surveys, and focus group discussions (FGDs) to identify community needs and priorities. Data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS to evaluate the program's impact on community awareness, skills, and access to resources, particularly in agriculture, entrepreneurship, and education. Results/Findings: The results revealed significant improvements in community awareness, skills, and access to resources. The key outcomes included increased participation (78%), enhanced income levels (65%), and stronger social cohesion (72%). However, challenges, such as limited infrastructure and human resources, were identified, which affected the program's scalability. Conclusions: The program successfully enhanced social and economic welfare through participatory approaches, skill training, and economic empowerment. This demonstrates the effectiveness of community engagement in driving sustainable development. Limitations: The study was constrained by its short-term implementation, reliance on self-reported data, and small sample size, which may limit the generalizability of the findings. Contributions: This initiative offers a replicable model for rural development, providing valuable insights for policymakers, NGOs, and researchers focusing on social welfare and sustainable development.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to analyze the store layout of Crystal Elektronik to evaluate the effectiveness of its current design and propose improvements to enhance customer comfort and operational efficiency. Methodology/approach: The methods used include direct observation, in-depth interviews with the store owner, photographic documentation of the current store layout, and visual layout mapping created using simple graphic design software. Results/findings: The results indicate that Crystal Elektronik employs a grid layout, which generally supports operational effectiveness and facilitates customer ease in locating products. However, several limitations were identified, including narrow spacing between shelves and disorganized product arrangements in the back of the store. The community service team proposed a new layout design involving adjustments to aisle spacing, rearrangement of large electronic items, and optimization of warehouse utilization to address these issues. Conslucions: An effective store layout enhances both customer comfort and operational efficiency. While the current grid layout supports navigation, spatial constraints and disorganization reduce its overall effectiveness. Proposed improvements, such as wider aisles and better product arrangement, can significantly enhance the shopping experience. This study highlights the importance of layout optimization in retail management. Limitations: This research is limited to a single store, which reduces the generalizability of its findings. Contribution: This study contributes to the fields of operations management and retail management, particularly in the area of store layout design. It provides practical insights for retail business practitioners, emphasizing the importance of layout optimization to improve customer comfort and overall business efficiency.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze public interest in Sharia fintech services, focusing on the collaborative community service initiative with Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Gresik. This research seeks to identify factors influencing community adoption, perceptions, and challenges related to Sharia-compliant financial technology. Methodology/approach: The study was conducted in Gresik, East Java, in collaboration with BSI Gresik. Data were collected through surveys distributed to 150 respondents, including BSI customers and local residents. The survey utilized a structured questionnaire with Likert-scale questions covering aspects such as awareness, trust, and usage patterns of Sharia fintech. Results/findings: The findings indicate moderate awareness of Sharia fintech services, with trust in Islamic financial principles being a key driver of adoption. However, limited product knowledge and concerns regarding security were identified as barriers. Conclusion: The study concludes that while there is growing interest in Sharia fintech services, targeted educational campaigns and improved security measures are needed to boost adoption. Collaboration between Islamic banks and fintech providers can further enhance accessibility and trust, aligning with the principles of financial inclusion and compliance with Sharia. Limitations: The study was geographically limited to Gresik, and the sample may not fully represent diverse socioeconomic groups. Additionally, reliance on self-reported data may have introduced a bias. Contribution: This study contributes to the understanding of Sharia fintech adoption in Indonesia by providing insights for Islamic banks, fintech developers, and policymakers to enhance financial inclusion strategies. It also supports the academic discourse on Islamic finance and digital innovation.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to describe the adaptation and implementation of ecoprint techniques (pounding, steaming, fermentation) using local natural materials at Muhammadiyah Kepong Studio. It evaluates changes in students' attitudes and behaviors toward environmental awareness, responsibility, and cooperation after participating in ecoprint activities. The study also identifies character values—such as perseverance, discipline, tolerance, and creativity—internalized through these activities within the context of the "Clean and Fun School" movement. Methodology/approach: The implementation used a structured community service method involving a target area survey, preparation, scheduling, execution, and post-activity evaluation. Results/findings: Post-training assessments showed substantial improvement: knowledge of ecoprint techniques increased from 34% to 100%, local cultural knowledge from 57% to 100%, technical skills from 4% to 93%, and creative idea development from 5% to 97%. Character improvements were also notable, including responsibility and care (5% to 100%), collaboration (83% to 100%), perseverance and patience (63% to 100%), and environmental awareness (33% to 97%). Conclusions: Ecoprinting with natural materials instills environmental values and personal character traits, such as patience, thoroughness, and cooperation, promoting sustainable habits through experiential learning. Limitations: Findings are context-specific and may not generalize to other schools due to differences in student backgrounds, resources, and the implementation timeframes. Contribution: This study contributes to educational practices by integrating environmental art, character education, and sustainability, providing a model for similar programs in art education, environmental studies, and civic character development.

Abstract

bibliometric approach and also using computational mapping analysis using VOSviewer. Methodology: The keyword “SrTiO3 nanoparticle, Strontium Titanate” is used, then the article is selected based on the title and abstract. We conducted an analysis of articles discussing SrTiO3 nanoparticles and their relationship to problem areas using VOSviewer.Results/findings: A total of 667 relevant articles were found based on these keywords. Articles used in the last 11 years, from 2012 to 2022. The results showed that SrTiO3 nanoparticles can be divided into 3 fields: “SrTiO3” with 163 links and 1092 total link strength, “Nanoparticle” with 175 links and 1697 total link strength, and “Strontium Titanate” with 170 links and 1459 total link strength. It was found that the research trend of SrTiO3 nanoparticles was increasing. In 2012 to 2015 there was an increase from 29 articles in 2012 to 46 articles in 2015. There was a decrease from 2015 to 40 articles in 2016. From 2016 to 2022 there was a significant increase in the number of articles from 40 articles in 2016 to 93 articles in 2022. Conclusion: The bibliometric and mapping analysis revealed that research on SrTiO3 nanoparticles continues to grow rapidly, with strong interdisciplinary linkages across materials science, energy, and nanotechnology. This indicates that SrTiO3 nanoparticles have promising potential for future innovations, especially in energy conversion, photocatalysis, and electronic device applications.Limitations: This study did not discuss in depth the relationship between the terms in this SrTiO3 nanoparticle study.Contribution: The results of this study can be used as a reference to find out the trend of research on nanoparticle materials which has increased, so that it can be a potential for further development of SrTiO3 nanoparticle applications.
