Abstract

This research focuses on the study of management in educational leadership at school organizational levels. The aim is to analyze all leadership management indicators that determine school excellence. This research uses a library research method where researchers collect relevant data from books, journals, dissertations, theses and theses without conducting a field survey. Then the results of data collection were analyzed for suitability of the research topics and themes to the theme of this research. The results of the analysis show that leadership management indicators for realizing school excellence include aspects of organization, learning, human resources and infrastructure, and organizational culture.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the quality of education, the role of the principal, the principal's leadership style, and the principal's leadership strategies. The research method used is qualitative with a case study typology. Primary and secondary data are used as data sources. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that the quality of education meets 8 National Education standards, the role of education meets 8 (eight) National Education standards, the role of the principal in supporting improving the quality of education, and the leadership style used by the principal, democratic leadership style, the Principal's strategy in improving quality Education, the quality of education related to human resource development programs, curriculum, teacher professionalism, student affairs, physical facilities and infrastructure, community relations and fund (financial) management.

Abstract

As a leader in education, a teacher must be a leader who is liked, trusted, and able to guide students to grow and develop into humans who are ready to adapt and face challenges. The independent curriculum comes with a student-centered learning system, the teacher is not the only source of knowledge. So what is the role of teachers in independent curriculum learning? This research aims to describe a literature review regarding the role of teacher leadership in independent curriculum learning. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a type of literature review which will conduct research by summarizing several materials sourced from journals, books and other sources related to the role of teachers and the independent curriculum in learning in Indonesia. In the learning process, although it is not teacher-centered, the teacher still has control over the course of the learning process. Teachers are responsible for planning instruction including setting goals and objectives, selecting materials and activities and assessing student learning. So it can be concluded that teachers have an important role in the independent curriculum learning process.

Abstract

This research aims first to determine the extent of the role of literacy and numeracy in the educational context in building character. Furthermore, to find out what obstacles make literacy and numeracy does not work well well in the educational environment in forming character. The research method used in this article is a systematic literature review, the author searches for published articles related to the title or research topic that the researcher has determined, the articles searched are limited to 50 articles, then the researcher filters them to 20 articles that are considered appropriate and close to each other. to answer this research. The results of the research show that as many as 20 articles from the search results show that the role of literacy and numeracy has a significant impact on improving numeracy and reading skills at primary school level, especially from the results of PISA and OECD data which reveal that Indonesia is still experiencing a decline in terms of literacy and numeracy. From the search results, it can be concluded that literacy and numeracy have a role in character formation in the world of education. So, researchers provide recommendations for the need for support from the government, educational institutions, students' environment and parents to work together to improve students' abilities in calculating and reading while aiming to shape the character of each student.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and explain Toulmin's argument patterns in the 2017 revised edition of the 2017 High School English textbook for class XI curriculum. This type of research is qualitative research using document analysis methods. The subject of this research is the 2017 revised edition of the 2013 curriculum 2013 high school English textbook. This book was written by Herman Benyamin. The object of this research is Toulmin's argument pattern. Analysis of the arguments in the discourse in the book is based on Toulmin's arguments whose components consist of Claim (C), Ground (G), Warrant (W), Backing (B), Qualifier (Q), and Rebuttal (R). After finding a pattern in each discourse, a conclusion is given. The results of this research show that this book contains patterns formed in discourse. From the results of Toulmin's argument analysis, in topic 1, patterns C (10%), RC (10%), GC (10), GQC (10%), GWC were found. (10%), GWBC (10%), GWQC (10%), GWRC (10%), GWBQC (10), GWBQRC (10%), Topic 2 is in C (14.3%), RC (0), GC (14.3%), GQC (14.3%), GWC (14.3%), GWBC (14.3%), GWQC (14.3%), GWRC (0%), GWBQC (14.3%), GWBQRC (0%). Discourse that does not have an argument is 20% and there are arguments that are not good according to Toulmin's argument. According to Toulmin, a good argument from this book is 85%, meaning that the presentation of this argument in the 2013 edition of the high school English textbook issued by the government can be said to be very good

Abstract

This study was designed to analyzed the dental hygiene practices among public secondary school students in awka education zone of Anambra state. Four research questions were formulated to guide the study. The research design for this study is a descriptive survey. The Population of this study is made up of sixty-four (64) public secondary schools in Awka Education zone of Anambra state. The sample size is 1000 students. Instrument used for the study was a self-structured questionnaire. The instrument was validated by three experts, two in measurement and evaluation from Educational Psychology, Nwafor Orizu College of Education Nsugbe and one from Health education department. The scores of data collected were correlated using Pearson Product Moment Correlation, and it gave rise to 0.75. In analyzing the data, the researcher used weighted mean score and standard deviation in answering the research question. The study’s findings highlighted positive attitudes toward dental hygiene practices among public secondary school students. Regular brushing twice daily was seen as essential for preventing cavities, promoting fresh breath, and maintaining overall oral health. Brushing at night was particularly valued for its role in protecting enamel by removing bacteria. Students also acknowledged the benefits of flossing, noting its effectiveness in clearing debris, reducing the risk of gum disease, and alleviating toothache. However, awareness about flossing was less widespread, indicating an area where knowledge and frequency could be enhanced to further improve dental hygiene practices among students. Recommendations were made that implement awareness campaigns within schools to educate students, teachers, and parents on the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene practices. These campaigns can include workshops, seminars, and distribution of informative materials. Educational implications, conclusion and suggestions for further study were also revealed.

Abstract

The study was carried out to find out the Impact of ICT usage in teaching geography in secondary schools in Anaocha Local Government Area in Anambra suite. In an attempt to carry out the study, five (5) research questions were formulated to guide the study. Literature reviews were carried out under conceptual framework, theoretical framework, theoretical studies, empirical studies and summary of literature review. The study was a descriptive survey design with the target population of all public secondary schools in Anaocha L. G. A., Anambra State. The collected data were analyzed using means and presented in tables; the results indicated that students were not properly exposed to the level the subject required; lack of skilled teachers; inadequate power supply; etc. Based on the findings, recommendations were made; the government should be made to put in place a regular power supply as well as reducing the cost of computer facilities to affordable price. In addition, lecturers should be sensitized on the various ways and process of using ICT materials in teaching and learning of geography through workshops, seminars, and conferences.

Abstract

Currently it is the era of globalization, with the development of the digital era, the way people search for information has changed. With high intellectual ability and professionalism, it will allow democratization, openness, freedom of speech, free trade, and free competition. In the increasingly evolving digital era, information technology has changed the way people work, interact, and transact. The legal sector and legal agreements are also influenced by technology. The process of creating traditional legal documents, such as notary deeds, has changed with the advent of the concept of cyber notary. Especially in Indonesia, the spread of information technology to every aspect of people's lives is currently a problem. Because they are different from conventional agreements, electronic agreements can be carried out digitally even if the two parties do not meet in person, In order to obtain an adequate legal basis for the existence of a cyber notary, Indonesia needs to make changes to various regulations, namely the law on the position of a notary, Article 1868 of the Civil Code, and Article 5 paragraph (4) letter b of the Law on Information and Electronic Transactions to support the digitization of services best.

Abstract

This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to describe the performance of the mobiliser teacher role and its impact on learning innovation in schools. Purposively, 9 teachers of mobilisers and 4 ordinary teachers in public first schools were selected as respondents. The results of this study explain that the performance of driving teachers has an impact on teacher learning innovation. The performance of driving teachers is reflected in the existence of their effective role in developing teacher learning innovations. The findings of this study explain the performance of mobilising teachers based on their roles, namely (1) the role of leading learning; (2) become a coach for teachers; (3) encouraging collaboration; (4) realising student leadership; dan (5) mobilising communities of practice.

Abstract

Legal higher education has a very important role in improving the capacity of human resources in the legal field, one of which is through teaching legislative drafting courses. This course is designed to equip students with skills in compiling and designing clear, precise, and legal regulations in accordance with legal principles. Quality regulatory drafters are needed to create effective and optimally implemented regulations. This study aims to explore how legal higher education, especially through legislative drafting courses, can strengthen students' abilities in designing quality laws and regulations. With a qualitative approach, this study examines the teaching materials taught, the teaching methods used, and the contribution of the course to improving the capacity of legal drafters. The results of the study show that teaching legislative drafting in universities not only provides technical skills, but also strengthens students' understanding of the legal principles underlying the creation of regulations. Therefore, legal higher education through this course has a significant contribution to improving the capacity of quality legal drafters and regulations in Indonesia.
