Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to find out the activities of Javanese culture which is known as kejawen in the village of Demak. People who embrace Islam but do not refuse to preserve the culture of their ancestors. The research methodology used is qualitative by direct observation and interviews with competent informants and documentation. The results of this study were obtained that, starting from the meaning of kejawen in the literal sense, it means Javanese belief. Furthermore, this term refers to everything related to beliefs and customs that develop in Javanese society in particular. From a philosophical point of view, kejawen presents certain teachings whose purpose is to lead people to have good manners, noble values, and an existing divine perspective. With the inclusion of various religious sects in Javanese society over a long period of time, the Kejawen belief experienced acculturation with various other religions. Kejawen Islamic culture is still thick with things that contain shirk, which in Islam itself strictly prohibits this which is explained in the Koran and hadith. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas kedudayaan jawa yang disebut dengan istilah kejawen di Desa wilayah Demak. Masyarakat yang memeluk agama islam namun tidak menolak melestarikan kebudayaan para leluhur. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan melakukan observasi secara langsung dan wawancara kepada para narasumber yang berkompeten serta melakukan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa, diawali dari makna kejawen dalam arti harfiah bermakna kepercayaan Jawa. Lebih lanjut, istilah ini merujuk pada segala hal yang memiliki hubungan dengan kepercayaan maupun adat-istiadat yang berkembang di masyarakat Jawa khususnya. Dari segi filsafat, kejawen menghadirkan ajaran-ajaran tertentu yang tujuannya menggiring manusia untuk memiliki tata krama, nilai-nilai luhur, serta cara pandang ketuhanan yang berada. Dengan masuknya berbagai aliran keagamaan di masyarakat Jawa dalam rentang periode yang lama, kepercayaan kejawen mengalami akulturasi dengan berbagai agama lain. Kebudayaan islam kejawen masih kental dengan hal-hal mengandung syirik, yang mana di islam sendiri sangat melarang hal tersebut yang mana di jelaskan dalam al’quran dan hadis.

Abstract

Abstract: Spiritual education plays a central role in the holistic development of learners. The focus isn't solely on the intellectual aspect but also encompasses moral development, spiritual values, and wisdom in daily life. This research aims to comprehend the implementation of spiritual education for students through the Boarding Education program at State High School (SMAN) in South Sumatera. It falls under qualitative research, utilizing a case study approach. Data collection methods involve observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques employ qualitative data analysis in three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that the Boarding Education program in South Sumatera’s SMAN follows the concept of nine house systems: dolphin, dove, eagle, hornbill, Komodo dragon, lion, manta ray, rhinoceros, and shark. Each house is overseen by 4-5 house coordinators. There are three activities within this spiritual program: Quran recitation, Quran memorization, and Islamic discussions. Several Islamic practices are instilled to support the success of this program, such as congregational prayers, a seven-minute lecture after Maghrib prayers, and nurturing character traits within the students. Abstrak: Pendidikan rohani memegang peran sentral dalam pengembangan peserta didik secara holistik. Titik fokus tidak hanya ada pada aspek intelektual saja tetapi juga pada perkembangan moral, nilai-nilai spiritual, dan kebijaksanaan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bentuk implementasi pendidikan rohani bagi peserta didik melalui program Boarding Education di SMAN Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini termasuk kedalam jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data menggunakan analisa data kualitatif dengan tiga tahapan, yakni reduksi data, paparan data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa program Boarding Education yang ada di SMAN Sumatera Selatan ini menggunakan konsep sembilan sistem rumah, yakni lumba-lumba, merpati, elang, rangkong, komodo, singa, mantaray, badak dan hiu. Masing-masing rumah ini dikawal oleh 4-5 house coordinator. Ada tiga kegiatan dalam program kerohanian ini, yakni khotmil quran, tahsin tahfidz al-quran dan diskusi keislaman. Beberapa pembiasaan-pembiasaan islami dilakukan guna mendukung keberhasilan program ini, seperti gerakan sholat berjamaah, kuliah tujuh menit setelah sholat maghrib, serta penanaman sikap-sikap berkarakter yang ada pada diri peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstract: Religious moderation education is crucial for children from the moment they start elementary school to nurture their ability to apply religious moderation principles in their daily lives. The foundation of religious moderation education for children is embedded through within their family and school settings. This study used a qualitative descriptive research methodology. The data was collected through observation and interview techniques, books and journals relevant to the research topic. The results of this study identified the pivotal role of PAI teachers in instilling religious moderation values in MIS NU 2 Pontianak students. For examples through effective guidance and mentorship in religious moderation practices and incorporating religious moderation activities and discussions into PAI lessons. Abstrak: Pendidikan moderasi beragama sangat penting bagi anak-anak sejak mereka mulai masuk sekolah dasar untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan mereka menerapkan prinsip-prinsip moderasi beragama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mereka. Landasan pendidikan moderasi beragama bagi anak tertanam melalui lingkungan keluarga dan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi dan wawancara, serta buku dan jurnal yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini mengidentifikasi peran penting guru PAI dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama pada siswa di MIS NU 2 Pontianak. Misalnya melalui bimbingan dan pendampingan yang efektif dalam praktik moderasi beragama serta memasukkan kegiatan dan diskusi moderasi beragama ke dalam pembelajaran PAI. Guru sebagai komunikator yang harus mampu berkomunikasi dan menyampaikan pemahaman tentang moderasi beragama kepada peserta didiknya, guru juga berperan sebagai pegawai suatu lembaga yang memberikan contoh kepada peserta didiknya bagaimana bersikap sesuai dengan apa yang dijelaskan dalam moderasi beragama, guru berperan sebagai penguasa dan transmitter yang mengatur para peserta didik dan memberikan ide-ide yang bagus dalam menerapkan sikap moderasi beragama pada peserta didiknya disekolah.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to verify whether this holds true for the Quran memorization (tahfidz) learning specifically at Al-Furqan Junior High School, Madrasatul Qur’an Tebuireng, Jombang. The research methodology employed a quantitative ex-post facto approach. Sampling was conducted using simple random sampling with 225 respondents. Questionnaires and documentation were the data collection techniques used in this research. Simple and multiple linear regressions were employed as the data analysis techniques. The research findings indicate that: (1) there is a partial influence between learning strategies and student motivation on Quran memorization achievement at Al-Furqan Junior High School, Madrasatul Quran Tebuireng, Jombang; (2) there is a simultaneous influence between learning strategies and motivation on Quran memorization achievement at Al-Furqan Junior High School, Madrasatul Quran Tebuireng, Jombang. This is evident in the selection of appropriate teaching strategies by teachers, fully supported by student motivation, which significantly improves students' memorization progress over time and enhances their learning achievements. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa apakah hal ini berlaku pada pembelajaran tahfidz Al-Qur'an khususnya di SMP Al-Furqan Madrasatul Quran Tebuireng Jombang. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif berjenis ex-post facto. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling dengan 225 responden. Teknik kuesioner dan dokumentasi merupakan teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini. Regresi linier sederhana dan berganda menjadi teknik analisis data ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) terdapat pengaruh secara parsial antara strategi pembelajaran dan motivasi siswa terhadap prestasi tahfidz di SMP Al-Furqan Madrasatul Quran Tebuireng Jombang; (2) terdapat pengaruh secara simultan antara strategi pembelajaran dan motivasi terhadap prestasi tahfidz di SMP Al-Furqan Madrasatul Quran Tebuireng Jombang. Hal ini nampak pada pemilihan strategi yang tepat oleh guru dan didukung sepenuhnya oleh motivasi siswa yang nampak pada progress hafalan siswa secara signifikan dari waktu ke waktu akan meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Abstract: Aqil baligh is a thing that indicates the relationship between the maturity of the mind (aqil) with the physical maturity (baligh) of the individual. Currently, there are many phenomena where teenagers who have reached puberty but do not understand the obligations they are responsible for. With the teacher in accompanying students, those who enter puberty can get an understanding of the changes in themselves. The objectives of this study are: (1) Describe the role teachers in mentoring students during puberty in MTsN 8 Kediri, (2) Analyzing supporting and inhibiting factors in mentoring students during puberty in MTsN 8 Kediri. This research uses a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques with observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The process of checking data uses triangulation techniques, and source triangulation. Based on the results of this study, it was found: (1) Teachers can optimize their pedagogical competencies in assisting students during puberty, namely; Teachers carry out their role as educators and instructors as guides, as examples, and as facilitators and learning resources for students (2) The supporting factors of student assistance are teacher awareness of the importance of mentoring, cooperation between Fiqh teachers and religious teams, as well as adequate infrastructure and facilities. While the inhibiting factors are limited time for mentoring, as well as the environment and association. Abstrak: Aqil baligh merupakan hal yang menandakan terkaitnya kedewasaan akal (aqil) dengan kedewasaan fisik (baligh) individu. Saat ini banyak fenomena dimana para remaja yang telah baligh tetapi belum paham mengenai kewajiban yang menjadi tanggungjawabnya. Dengan adanya guru dalam mendampingi peserta didik, maka mereka yang memasuki aqil baligh bisa mendapatkan pemahaman tentang perubahan dalam dirinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran guru dalam mendampingi peserta didik masa aqil baligh di MTsN 8 Kediri beserta faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam proses pendampingan tersebut. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Proses pengecekan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik, dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa: (1) guru bisa mengoptimalkan kompetensi paedagogis yang dimilikinya dalam pendampingan peserta didik masa aqil baligh yaitu; guru menjalankan perannya sebagai pendidik dan pengajar, sebagai pembimbing, sebagai teladan, serta sebagai fasilitator dan sumber belajar bagi peserta didik (2) Faktor pendukung dari pendampingan peserta didik yaitu kesadaran guru mengenai pentingnya pendampingan, adanya kerja sama antara guru dan tim keagamaan, serta sarana prasarana dan fasilitas yang memadai. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu terbatasnya waktu pendampingan, serta lingkungan dan pergaulan.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the large number of early marriages that occur in Panaguan Village, Larangan Pamekasan, most of which have an impact on  their education and psychological aspects. This research aim to find out; first, the phenomenon and the relation among of them. Second, the implication of early marriage on education and the psychological  aspects of the child. This research uses the phenomenology qualitative methods. The results showed that: First, there are 3 phenomena of early marriage in Panaguan Village, Larangan Pamekasan,  including : 1) traditional, 2) pragmatic, and 3), structural. The structural phenomena becomes the dominan aspect. Second, the implication of early marriage is hindering formal education of the child, and feel anxiety, stress, and double burden for the women. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya pernikahan dini yang terjadi di Desa Panaguan Kecamatan Larangan Pamekasan yang berdampak pada pendidikan dan aspek psikologis mereka. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu : Pertama, Untuk mengetahui relasi fenomena dalam pernikahan dini dan menentukan fenomena yang bersifat dominan. Kedua, implikasi pernikahan dini terhadap pendidikan dan psikologi anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis fenomenologi. Prosedur pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, terdapat 3 fenomena pernikahan dini yang berkaitan satu sama lainnya, meliputi : 1) fenomena tradisional, 2) Fenomena pragmatikal, dan 3) Fenomena structural. fenomena struktual menjadi factor dominan diantara dua fenomena lainnya. Kedua, implikasi dari pernikahan dini yaitu putusnya pendidikan formal anak dan secara psikologis mereka mengalami kecemasan, stress, dan beban ganda bagi wanita.

Abstract

Abstract: Social ethical values are one of the goals of education in Indonesia through character education. This must be optimized considering the uncontrolled development of the times without strong character in students. The aim of this research is to determine the optimization of students' social ethical values through the role of Islamic education teacher at SMAN 1 Sinjai. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis is qualitative descriptive. The research results show that Islamic education teachers have four vital roles in optimizing social ethical values, including (1) character formation; (2) increasing social awareness; (3) empowering students, and (4) overcoming challenges and conflicts. The strategy that Islamic Education teacher can use is through uswah hasanah which is carried out not only in the classroom but also outside the classroom. PAI teachers can also approach open discussions with students, both in intracurricular and extracurricular learning. These four Islamic education teacher roles will achieve maximum results if supported by the entire school academic community, such as the principal, all teachers and administrative staff to students as the main actors. Abstrak: Nilai-nilai etika sosial menjadi salah satu tujuan pendidikan di Indonesia melalui pendidikan karakter. Hal ini harus dilakukan optimalisasi mengingat perkembangan zaman yang tidak terkendali tanpa adanya karakter yang kuat pada siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui optimalisasi nilai – nilai etika sosial siswa melalui peran guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMAN 1 Sinjai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan perolehan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data bersifat deksriptif kualitatif dengan tiga tahapan, yakni reduksi data, penyajian dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI memiliki empat peran vital dalam optimalisasi nilai-nilai etika sosial, diantaranya adalah (1) pembentukan karakter; (2) peningkatan kesadaran sosial; (3) pemberdayaan siswa, serta (4) mengatasi tantangan dan konflik. Strategi yang bisa digunakan guru PAI adalah melalui uswah hasanah yang dilakukan tidak hanya didalam kelas saja tetapi juga diluar kelas. Guru PAI juga bisa melakukan pendekatan dengan diskusi secara terbuka dengan siswa, baik dalam pembelajaran intrakurikuler maupun ekstrakurikuler. Keempat peran guru PAI ini akan mencapai hasil yang maksimal jika didukung oleh seluruh civitas akademika sekolah, seperti kepala sekolah, seluruh guru dan tenaga administrasi hingga siswa sebagai pelaku utama.

Abstract

This study was driven by the lack of students’ interest and understanding in learning Fiqh, particularly in the topic of thaharah, despite the fact that it is a fundamental concept for every Muslim. A contributing factor to this issue is thought to be the limited use of innovative and engaging learning media. This research aims to develop a learning media (snakes and ladders) to enhance student learning outcomes in Fiqh, focusing on thaharah, at MTs Babussalam Kalibening Jombang. The study employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach, adapting the ten-step model by Borg & Gall. These steps include data collection, planning, initial product development, individual trials, product revision, small group trials, second revision, and large group trials. The resulting product is a large-scale snakes and ladders game integrated with a quiz related to thaharah content. Validation results show that it received an average score of 4.2 from media experts (valid), 4.25 from subject matter experts (very valid), and 4.3 from practitioners/teachers (very valid). Trial implementations (individual, small group, and large group) revealed high levels of student engagement. This is also supported by the result of post test that shows improvement in learning outcomes. In conclusion, the snakes and ladders media is feasible and effective for improving students’ learning outputs in Fiqh subject.

Abstract

This study examines quality assurance challenges in Indonesian Islamic higher education by focusing on a case study of State Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKIN) at UIN Syekh Wasil Kediri. The analysis is conducted through five key dimensions of educational quality: students, lecturers, curriculum, facilities, and educational governance. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis to capture institutional practices and stakeholder perspectives. The findings reveal that the main challenges in quality assurance lie in the suboptimal integration of students’ academic and spiritual development, limited mastery of learning technologies among some lecturers, a curriculum that remains predominantly theoretical, underutilization of campus facilities, and governance practices that have not fully embraced transparency and participatory principles. These issues indicate that quality assurance in PTKIN cannot be addressed through fragmented or sectoral improvements. This study confirms that strengthening educational quality requires a comprehensive and integrated quality assurance approach that aligns academic excellence, spiritual formation, and institutional management. The contribution of this research lies in offering a holistic analytical framework that illustrates the interrelated nature of quality components within PTKIN, extending existing discussions that often focus on isolated aspects of educational quality. The findings are expected to serve as a strategic reference for PTKIN policymakers and institutional leaders in developing sustainable and integrated quality assurance systems in Indonesian Islamic higher education.

Abstract

The development of digital da'wah through social media has been widely studied, but studies specifically mapping Islamic values ​​in TikTok da'wah content and its relevance to Islamic Education learning are still limited and tend to be descriptive. This study aims to analyze the Islamic values ​​contained in digital da'wah on TikTok, including aspects of faith, sharia, and morals, also examine their implications for Islamic Education learning in schools and universities. This study uses a qualitative approach through literature review, by thematically analyzing various journal articles, books, and previous research results discussing digital da'wah, media literacy, and Islamic education. The analysis results show that da'wah content on TikTok consistently represents faith values ​​through strengthening monotheism, sharia values ​​through habituating worship and muamalah practices, also moral values ​​through internalizing religious attitudes in daily life. These findings confirm that integrating TikTok-based digital da'wah into Islamic Education learning has the potential to strengthen Islamic digital literacy, increase student engagement, and provide more contextual and relevant learning to the characteristics of the digital generation. This research contributes to the development of a digital media-based PAI learning approach that is adaptive to the challenges of the technological era.
