Background: Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD) is characterized by craniofacial pain involving the jaw joint, masticatory muscles, or muscles that innervate the head and neck. The causes of TMD are multifactorial, including tooth loss and bad habits. The new DC/TMD protocol is a TMD examination protocol that is highly recommended for use as a clinical and research protocol for dentists. Objective: This study aims to determine the prevalence of TMD diagnosis results using the DC/TMD method, to determine the types of TMD diseases experienced and their relationship to the status of tooth loss in students. Method: The study used a cross-sectional analytical design with samples that met the inclusion criteria of 150 students aged 19-25 years who were taken by total sampling. The research subjects were asked to agree and sign an informed consent in advance by the researcher. Data were obtained from the results of anamnesis and physical examination with a diagnosis of TMD using the DC/TMD protocol based on the International RDC/TMD Consortium Network which has been translated into Indonesian. The examination data were processed using SPSS statistical software with univariate and bivariate tests. Results: 48% of students had tooth loss, 62% of students were diagnosed with TMD, and the results of the relationship analysis using the chi-square test showed that there was a significant relationship between tooth loss and TMD (p-value = 0.024; p

Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine whether the prevalence of hypertension in the community of Benteng Village RT 004/07, Benteng Health Centre Working Area, correlates with physical activity. Method: This study employed a cross-sectional methodology and was quantitative in nature. The sampling technique used was comprehenThe study employed a GPAQ questionnaire, a stethoscope, written consent, research tools, stationery, and data analysis procedures using Spearman's rank. tudy. Twenty-four respondents became the research sample. Results: According to the results of the Spearman rank statistical test, the incidence of hypertension in the Benteng Village community significantly correlates with physical activity (p value = 0.000), and the correlation is unidirectional (relationship coefficient = -0.324). The degree of hypertension among respondents decreased with increased physical activity. Suggestion: Community health centres can provide weekly fitness instructions for the elderly in an effort to reduce blood pressure in hypertensive patients through physical activity.

Background: Ceflurane, which is a halogenated ether, is packaged in liquid form, colorless, non-explosive, odorless and non-irritating so it is good for inhalation induction. Research objective: To find out the effect of sevoflurane on blood pressure in patients under general anesthesia. Research Method: The design of this study is a quantitative type using a descriptive approach with a population of 36 people The sample used in this study is purposive sampling with as many as 33 respondents This research was conducted at Ibnu Sina Hospital,Gresik Regency during February-May 2024. The variable in this study is an overview of the effect of sevoflurane on blood pressure. results: An overview of the effect of sevoflurane on blood pressure showed that of the 33 respondents, they had a blood pressure of 15 minutes after being given sevoflurane with an average of 113.36, a median of 114.00, a standard deviation of 10.977 with the blood pressure of general patients after being given sevoflurane at least 93 mmHg and a maximum of 140 mmHg. Conclusion: Based on the study, the picture of the effect of sevoflurane on blood pressure in general anesthesia patients decreased.

Background: Spinal anesthesia is a type of extensive nerve block by inserting a local anesthetic drug into the subarachnoid space at the lumbar level (Rehatta, 2019). This method produces anesthesia by blocking transmission, deactivating motor and sensory abilities, thus creating loss of pain sensation in the perineum. lower abdomen to lower extremities. Among the effects of spinal anesthesia that often occur, post-spinal anesthesia headache is a complication that often does not receive special attention. Due to the minor effects of spinal anesthesia. Management of headaches after spinal anesthesia, one of which is using non-pharmacological techniques with Head Up therapy, namely providing a 30 degree head elevation position with the aim of increasing blood flow to the brain in an effort to maximize oxygen flow to the brain which is believed to reduce the sensation of headaches. Objective: To analyze the effect of giving Head up therapy on headaches in post-operative patients with spinal anesthesia. Method: This research is a quantitative research using a type of experiment with a pre-experimental design, post-test control group design. Sampling technique: accidental sampling Population: The population of this study was 300 people. Sample: This study involved 76 respondents with a division of 38 respondents who were given Head Up therapy and 38 respondents who were not given Head Up therapy. Data analysis: Data were analyzed using the Mann Whitney test. The research instruments were Head Up SOP and Posttest Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) questionnaire. This research was carried out in February-April 2024 at Dr Hardjono Ponorogo Regional Hospital. Results: Based on research and after data analysis, the significance value (P value) in the Mann Whitney test was 0.001 (p>0.05). Conclusion: It was found that there was an effect of giving Head up therapy to post-operative patients with spinal anesthesia

Background: General anesthesia is the act of administering a combination of drugs during surgery with the aim of reducing consciousness and eliminating pain in the patient. There are 2.5% of patients experiencing intra-anesthesia complications including hypotension. Objective: To determine the comparison of giving fluid loading and reducing inhaled gas with giving ephedrine to prevent hypotension in patients in central surgery installations.Research Metod: Quantitative method with experimental research type with quasi-experiment. This research used a Pretest-Posttest Two Group Design with 22 respondents.Research Result: Based on test statistics, it is known that the results of the Independent Sample T Test data analysis test show a P value (>0.05), namely H0 is accepted. Based on this test, it was concluded that there was no significant relationship between administering fluid loading and reducing inhaled gas with administering ephedrine to prevent hypotension. Conclusion: Based on this research, researchers are more effective in using fluid loading and reducing inhaled gas than administering ephedrine in the ETT technique for general anesthesia.

Background: Obesity is a pathological condition due to excessive fat accumulation than is needed for body function. Pregnant women with overweight and obesity are at high risk and have been shown to be associated with increased complications in pregnancy. Cesarean section is a surgery to deliver a fetus by opening the abdominal wall and uterine wall. Generally, in cesarean section, spinal anesthesia is performed. Objective: to determine the hemodynamic picture of obese caesarean section patients with spinal anesthesia. Method: The method used is observational analytic with a cross-sectional approach and consecutive sampling technique. Data analysis uses parametric statistics. The data in this study are the results of differences in obese and non-obese patients. Data collection techniques in this study include documentation and observation. Results: The pre-anesthesia results obtained an average systolic blood pressure = 138.31 ± 17.528, an average diastolic blood pressure = 82.54 ± 10.643 and an average pulse of 100.69 ± 15.315, while the results after 5 minutes obtained an average systolic blood pressure of 105.31 ± 12.572, an average diastolic blood pressure of 61.15 ± 11.753 and an average pulse of 99.54 ± 18.963. Conclusion: Changes in blood pressure and pulse before spinal anesthesia with after spinal anesthesia in obese patients undergoing cesarean section showed a decrease in blood pressure and pulse in the 5th minute after injection.
