Abstract

Speech is the process of using language, which means knowing or being able to choose words that can affect how people communicate. Discourses can convey the contemplations, information, or considerations of the speaker to the whole populace and want to convince the crowd. This study aims to determine how President Jokowi's virtual speech uses presuppositions to describe the Corona Virus Handling Problem. This study used excerpts from President Jokowi's speech taken from articles on Bisnis.com as its data. The information is then dissected and categorized into six types of presuppositions using presuppositions. Only three of the six types of presuppositions that were discussed in the previous section were utilized by President Jokowi in his speech, particularly factual, lexical, and relational words. Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to describe the teacher's pedagogic competence in improving the science learning outcomes at SD Inpres Mapung, Gowa Regency. The subjects in this study were the Fourth Grade teacher at SD Inpres Mapung, Gowa Regency. The research data were obtained through observation sheets and interview guidelines. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research results: yhe teacher is able to design the lessons in the form of lesson plans and apply them according to K13, carry out the learning activities according to K13, use a variety of learning methods and media according to student characteristics, able to evaluate learning outcomes in general according to K13. Factors influencing teacher pedagogical competence in improving student science learning outcomes are teachers participating in teacher training or seminars interacting with students and with students' parents. Conclusion: in general, teachers have been had pedagogical competence according to predetermined indicators

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research that aims to describe the social intelligence of the VB grade students at SD Negeri 2 Manurunge, Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency. The research subjects were VB Grades homeroom teachers and 25 persons of VB Grade. Collecting data using interviews, observation and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results and conclusions of the study were the social intelligence of VB Grade students at SD Negeri 2 Manurunge, Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency, namely: being able to be a good listener, generally having a sense of empathy, and being able to position themselves as a student at school, students have focus and dare to appear in front of his friends to convey his ideas or ideas with confidence when carrying out the science learning process

Abstract

Character education really needs to be instilled in elementary school children in this digital era. This character education is an attempt to implement religious values, morality, student ethics through knowledge, also with the help of parents, teachers, a community that is very important for the formation and development of the character of the participants. Every child has good potential from birth, but this potential must be preserved, adjusted and socialized properly so that the character of each child is formed and developed. In the digital era, children can also use digital media without digital constraints. The digital era not only has positive effects, but also negative behavior effects are also the responsibility of teachers, parents, and the adult community to monitor and control what children do with their digital media, so that children can make the best use of their digital media. -good

Abstract

This study aims to investigate how university students organize their ideas in Exposition texts, particularly Analytical Exposition texts, and to what extent their Analytical Exposition texts are consistent with argumentative language features in terms of Thematic Progression, based on the framework of Systemic Functional Linguistics. The data were taken from nine Analytical Exposition texts of university students at low, moderate, and high levels of achievement. The result shows that the students organize their ideas in three ways of Thematic Progression namely Constant Theme Theme Progression (CTP) or Re-iteration pattern, Simple Linear Theme Progression (SLP) or Zig-Zag pattern, and Derived Theme Progression (DTP) or Multiple Theme pattern. In terms of Thematic Progression consistency, some texts from middle and high achievers are consistent with the argumentative language features, since they employed SLP than CTP and DTP. However, some students still need more guidance to improve the quality of their writings

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the speaking abilities of SMPN 4 Yogyakarta students of class VIII by using a descriptive quantitative research. Students from class VIII at SMPN 4 Yogyakarta were the population of this study, and class VIII E students made up the sample. A test was employed as a research tool in this study. The Pretest and Post-Test scores from two tests are compared to determine how Flashcards support students' speaking development. The result shows, (1) learning spoken functional text using flashcard media in class was declared successful with an average score of 81.71 in the post-test because it meets the Passing Grade standards of the school. The average pretest data (M = 74.77) and the average post-test data (M = 81.71); (2) There are significant results in the class posttest score with 0.000 Sig. value (2-tailed) (p < 0.05); (3) Flashcard learning media is appropriate in improving students' speaking performance as it reduces boredom and produces fun learning for students

Abstract

Penelitian difokuskan pada isu restorasi hutan tropis lembab basah di Pulau Kalimantan. Restorasi ini bertujuan untuk menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan dan keanekaragaman hayati. Akan tetapi, restorasi yang dilakukan terkadang melibatkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan dengan sudut pandang dan kepentingan yang beragam. Dalam konteks ini, diperlukan pendekatan analisis yang komprehensif dan kritis untuk memahami diskursus restorasi tersebut. Pendekatan Analisis Wacana Kritis Norman Fairclough merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang relevan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan tersebut untuk menganalisis diskursus tentang restorasi hutan tropis lembab basah di Pulau Kalimantan dengan tujuan mengungkap konstruksi bahasa, kekuasaan, dan ideologi yang mendasarinya. Melalui analisis dokumen kebijakan, program konservasi, dan dialog terkait, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana solusi berkelanjutan dalam konteks restorasi tersebut dipahami oleh pemangku kepentingan yang berbeda. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan wawasan yang lebih mendalam tentang pembingkaian solusi berkelanjutan dalam restorasi hutan tropis lembab basah di Pulau Kalimantan, yang dapat menjadi landasan penting dalam pengembangan kebijakan dan program restorasi yang lebih inklusif, berkeadilan, dan berkelanjutan di wilayah ini

Abstract

Akhlaq adalah aspek penting dalam kehidupan dan pendidikan, terlebih di sekolah akhlaq pada anak didik harus ditanamkan. Sebagai seorang guru pendidikan agama islam di sekolah sangat penting dalam memberikan perhatian khusus bagi siswa terhadap akhlaq maupun amalan ibadah siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan deskripsi tentang peran guru pendidikan agama islam dalam pembentukan akhlaq siswa. Secara khusus tujuan peneltian ini untuk menjelaskan bagaiman peran guru pendidikan agama islam dalam pembentukan akhlaqul karimah pada siswa SMK N 1 Juwiring tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Dan mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat oleh guru pendidikan agama islam dalam membentuk akhlaq mulia siswa. Penelitian ini mengabdikan tatanan analisis kualitatif. Fokus penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah peran guru pendidikan agama islam SMK Negeri 1 Juwiring dalam membentuk akhlak karimah pada siswa SMK Negeri 1 kecamatan Juwiring, kabupaten Klaten Dalam penelitian ini, teknik pengumpulan data yang utama adalah observasi participant, wawancara mendalam studi dokumentasi, dan gabungan ketiganya atau triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peran guru Pendidikan Agama Islam memberikan peran yang sangat baik untuk sekolah yang bukan berbasis agama dan terencana melalui pembiasaan-pembiasaan amalan ibadah yang dilakukan guru, dan yang paling menarik adalah guru mengkontrol ibadah siswa melalui cheklist, serta guru sebagai teladan yang baik. Perbedaan latar belakang siswa dan pergaulan yang menjadi salah satu faktor penghambat guru dalam membentuk akhaqul karimah namun hal tersebut diatasi dengan baik karena terdapat faktor pendukung salah satunya sinergi antar guru yang profesional dalam menjalankan perannya

Abstract

In learning, appropriate methods are needed to convey material so that students more easily understand and digest the material presented, which basically will increase student learning outcomes. The position of a teacher in the world of education occupies the highest position, considering his role as the first person to convey information and knowledge to students consciously in learning. Not only in teaching and learning, a teacher also acts as a facilitator, mediator and motivator for students, and expertise or skills are needed in guiding, developing and managing learning activities so as to create an atmosphere of effective and efficient teaching and learning activities. To achieve success and the learning process, of course, a learning strategy is needed that is appropriate to the material and student character. Because in learning, appropriate methods are needed, especially in science learning related to nature systematically, so that in learning science, it is not only mastery of knowledge, but also requires concepts and facts and principles which are a process of discovery. This study aims to determine learning outcomes before using the inquiry strategy in science subjects with environmental change material and learning outcomes after using the inquiry strategy in science subjects with environmental change material and applying the inquiry strategy in science subjects with environmental change material. This type of research is classroom action research with class IV A research subjects consisting of 24 students and the instruments used are tests, observations/observations and documentation. Data collection techniques with observation sheets for students and teachers. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, and data presentation. The results of this study were that during the pre-cycle of the 24 students the level of completeness in this pre-cycle was only 41.66%. At the time of implementation of Cycle I, it was given in the form of learning using a strategy, it was known that student learning outcomes in cycle I on science subject matter had increased compared to the results of the pre-test. However, the results of the written test have not reached completeness and are still relatively low with an average of 66.66%. And in Cycle II it increased by an average of 83.33%.

Abstract
