Abstract

Higher education as one of the places where education is held is expected to always maintain its quality and quality. To see the quality or quality of higher education management can be assessed from two indicators, namely the fulfillment of quality standards and the achievement of customer satisfaction. Universities must be able to manage their service quality system and administration because if not, the trust of higher education users will decrease as well as the quality of students as one of the university's users, so that student satisfaction measurements need to be carried out regularly to be input and improvement for the university. Student satisfaction survey was conducted on aspects of academic and non-academic services at UIN Walisongo Semarang. Academic and academic service aspects are each measured by 8 indicators. This study aims to determine the level of student satisfaction with service quality after participating in the learning process at UIN Walisongo Semarang. This study uses a quantitative approach and survey methods. The population of this survey is all students of UIN Walisongo Semarang. The results of the assessment of the student satisfaction index on academic services are as follows: the highest satisfaction is on the online guardianship indicator with an index of 2.99 and the lowest satisfaction is on the online lecture system (E-learning) indicator with an index of 2.27. Meanwhile, the results of the satisfaction index assessment on non-academic services are as follows: the highest indicators are; Religious guidance services for students (3.01), while the lowest index is; Career guidance and job information services (Walisongo Career Center) (2.69). All satisfaction results show high satisfaction criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to describe an implementation of learning that has been carried out in elementary schools in Purwasari 2 West Java Province since 2020 has implemented a google classroom application as a learning innovation for student learning activities. This case becomes a phenomenon because google classroom is very supportive. After all, the teacher can provide learning material on the page that has been prepared and functioning to collect student assignments. This is followed by using learning variations such as video call applications, zoom meetings, and quizizz. Although it can be concluded that google class learning is carried out in a good category in Purwasari 2 elementary school to send student task media, making it easier for teacher archiving if needed. However, schools face obstacles, namely the impact of saturation for teachers and students and internet quota assistance. There needs to be a more frequent training program to become a place for teachers to develop the ability to use technology in learning supported by supporting facilities and infrastructure, such as the application of google classroom. On the other hand, there is a need for further socialization for parents to accompany children to learn online through the google classroom application.

Abstract

This study identified the practices, issues and concerns, and key elements of a succession planning model for academic heads for the five private sectarian schools in the Philippines. It was conducted in school year 2018-2019, and participated by fifty-eight (58) religious administrators and lay academic heads and teachers Using the key features of participatory method, workshops, focus group discussion, and interviews were conducted for data gathering. The results showed that the practices in the selection and appointment of academic heads were administration’s preference, and criteria for selection and appointment of academic heads. From these practices, the issues and concerns that emerged were objectivity of decision, professional growth, spirituality and culture, and motivation. The elements of succession planning which are vision-mission, spirituality and culture, institutional policies, processes, and procedures, and professional growth were identified based on the practices, and issues and concerns. From these data, the succession planning model for academic heads was developed. The steps in the succession planning are understand the school organizational culture, build a shared vision, set and implement policies and leadership standards, provide personal and moral development programs, provide leadership development programs, and select and appoint academic heads. All policies and programs of the succession planning model must be anchored on the vision-mission of the schools. The faith and spiritual development programs (for private sectarian schools) or the personal and moral development programs (non-sectarian and public schools) are important in the preparation and appointment of future academic heads.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increased self-efficacy and the learning motivation of students through the application of meaningful discussions using the model. The research was practiced in the SMP N 1 Mlati. The subject of this study was class VIIB. This type of study is a Class Action Research (PTK) with the assessment cycle model Spiral Kemmis and Taggart are planning, acting and observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques increase self-efficacy were measured by questionnaires, improved student motivation is measured by questionnaires and observation sheets used to process of increasing self-efficacy and student motivation. Data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that increasing students’ self-efficacy and students’ motivation, namely (1) Establishing the set: discuss the purpose of discussion and sharing of students in 6 groups, (2) focus the discussion: confirms discussions with the group, the initial question about the problems in about, the problems presented deals with everyday life, focusing a good discussion, (3) control the discussion: facilitated discussion with questions, to guide each group discussion, respond to ideas, firmly beginning to end, write the results of discussions on the board with the obvious; (4) end the discussion: riview, summarizes and concludes the discussion with the students and write on the board, and (5) debriefing: ask the opinion of students about his way discussions, the opportunity to participate, revering others' ideas and difficult discussions. Students have the self-efficacy to achieve success indicators to all students (100%) have a high self-efficacy. Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive e-module in the learning process, especially to improve learning outcomes in the Learning Psychology course in the Elementary School Teacher Education Program (PGSD) at I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar State Hindu University. This study is a Research and Development (R&D) study with the ADDIE stages. The results of this study indicate that the interactive e-module is feasible to be applied, as evidenced by the validation results from material experts stating that the interactive e-module is feasible with an average percentage of 77.5%. Validation by instructional design experts stated that the interactive e-module is included in the feasible category with an average percentage of 78%. Finally, validation by media experts stated that this learning media is in the feasible category with a percentage of 80%. Meanwhile, the trial results show that the interactive e-module is categorized as "practical" with a score of 3.17. From the pretest and posttest results, a significant improvement was obtained with an N-Gain score of 65%. The evaluation results from the use of this interactive e-module also serve as evidence of students' learning outcomes improvement

Abstract

Private Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKIS) are growing and developing. Including in Lampung Province, which has been supported by the existence of Kopertais Region XV Lampung since 2020. The field research described aims to explore a moderate attitude in quality assurance at PTKIS. The objects in this study are representatives of the types of tertiary institutions, namely the Islamic Institute of Religion (IAI), Islamic College of Religion (STAI), College of Tarbiyah Sciences (STIT), Islamic College of Economics and Business (STEBI), Islamic Higher Education College. ah (STIS). The results of the research show that moderation is needed in the implementation of a quality assurance system. This is important because the results of the quality assurance system, both SPMI and SPME will be a benchmark for PTKIS governance which will have an impact on the sustainability of all PTKIS activities. Abstract

Abstract This study discusses quality standards and international accreditation, with the aim of knowing how the conformity of quality standards with international accreditation exceeds SN DIKTI. SPMI implementation at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta uses the PPEPP cycle. The standard improvement cycle is carried out if the standard has been reached or the realization exceeds the standard. Standard improvement carried out by UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta in 2020 by adding main performance indicators/IKU and additional performance indicators/IKT with reference to international accreditation agency standards, namely FIBAA, AUN-QA, AIQA, ABET, ASIIN and ASIIC, as well as SNPT, SPM-PT, BAN-PT which refers to 9 criteria and ISO 9001:2015. This research is a qualitative research using in-depth interview techniques, observation and documentation to find out the suitability of Quality Standards with International Accreditation for exceedance of SN DIKTI. Respondents in this study were quality standard controllers at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Qualitative data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman Interactive Model which includes data reduction, data display, and drawing and verifying. The results of the study show that there are statements in the Quality Standards that are in accordance with International Accreditation for exceeding SN DIKTI. The implementation of SPMI at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta has surpassed SN-DIKTI and brought international competitiveness in effective quantity and quality to develop a culture of quality, shown in the existing IKT. For example, the IKT Quality Standards of UIN Sunan Kalijaga show international competitiveness, namely UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta has curriculum development guidelines that contain graduate profiles, learning outcomes that refer to KKNI, study materials, curriculum structure and RPS that refer to SN-DIKTI and benchmarks on international institutions, current regulations, and sensitivity to current issues, where in the IKT statement, CP refers to FIBAA, ASIIN, AUN-QA, AIQA and IABEE certification/accreditation criteria.

Abstract

The focus of the discussion in this paper is the concept of classroom management supervision and quality assurance. Supervision is an action carried out by leaders in schools that emphasize coaching and development activities for the person being supervised. The quality of education in general starts from the quality of educators and the implementation of education in the classroom. Implementation of education in practice occurs in the classroom where the class is the smallest element in the implementation of education and learning in educational institutions. Teachers are the spearhead of implementing the educational process in the classroom, also play a role as professional educators and have very complex tasks, not limited to learning activities, including administrators, evaluators, counselors, and so on. Teachers in carrying out their daily tasks have a very large role. Their commitment and professionalism are highly expected in efforts to guarantee the quality of education. Abstract

The role of education in the era of "industrial revolution 4.0 is becoming increasingly important. Education must be able to prepare the younger generation to be capable of rapidly adapting to technological developments and also to produce creative, innovative, and critical-thinking human resources. In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, ISO 21001:2018 quality management is becoming increasingly important as technology and digitalization increasingly affect learning and teaching. Education and training are no longer limited to physical classes but can also be done online and remotely. In the era of the Industry 4.0 revolution, organizations that want to survive in the global market must improve their quality management. The use of international quality management ISO 21001:2018 is the right choice, as it helps ensure organizations operate in accordance with international standards and provides great benefits to organizations. With ISO 21001:2018 quality management, education and training organizations can ensure that they remain relevant in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and provide quality services to customers. In implementing ISO 2100:2018, educational organizations need to pay attention to speed and flexibility in responding to change, as well as building a strong culture of innovation within the organization. In addition, the implementation of ISO 21001:2018 in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 also requires a better integration between quality management systems and digital technologies.

Abstract

In order to address the educational needs of all of Indonesia's residents, this article discusses social inequities in access and educational quality. The main reasons of socioeconomic disparity in education are things like inadequate educational facilities, a shortage of skilled teachers, and curricula that don't meet the needs of students from varied backgrounds. The Constitution and the National Education System Law were established by the Indonesian government as the cornerstones for establishing an equal educational system and securing every citizen's right to an education. This article emphasizes the significance of creating an inclusive curriculum to suit children' varied intelligences and ensure that all pupils have an equal chance to study. This article's research was conducted using the library, using books and related journal articles as information sources. With the help of this study, an inclusive curriculum will be created and social inequalities in Indonesian education will be addressed. The study's findings are anticipated to positively impact education quality and the development of an inclusive and equitable educational system. The concept of social inequality in education, the function of curriculum in addressing social inequality, and best practices in curriculum development are also discussed in this article. A thorough understanding of social inequalities in education would enable the creation of a more equitable educational system and the provision of equal access for all people.
