Maddah journal is an Islamic communication and counseling journal published by the Faculty of Dakwah, Ibrahimy Situbondo University in collaboration with the Asosiasi Program Studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam (ASKOPIS). The scope and focus is to distribute the results of field research and concept analysis originating from researchers, academics and educational practitioners. Issue analysis is more focused on Islamic communication and broadcasting. Maddah journals are published twice a year, namely January and July.

Marriage counseling is a service in helping to solve problems related to marriage. The research method used is the library method. The results of this study indicate that the marriage counseling process according to al-Ghazali includes counseling requirements and counseling steps. Fulfillment of counseling requirements include the purpose of marriage counseling, effective counselor and counselee criteria, the relationship situation includes the situation between parents and children; between teacher and student; between friends and between families. The counseling steps are building relationships, identifying problems, determining material and actions. The counseling material is the purpose of marriage, motivation and prevention of marriage, the principle and danger of marriage, criteria for a good partner, adab reception, having good character and patience in facing suffering, joking and laughing, stability according to the partner's wishes, stable in jealousy, simple in spending , teach religion, act fairly, adab settlement, disputes, marital conduct, labor, divorce and the rights and obligations of husband and wife

Value is something that is believed to be true, trusted and felt useful, and is manifested in its attitude or behavior. Family counseling is an effort to provide assistance to individual family members through improving family communication so that the potential to develop is as optimal as possible and the problem can be overcome on the basis of the willingness to help from all family members based on their willingness and love for the family. This researcher uses the literature study research method. Islamic guidance counseling is a process of assistance that is given periodically continuously (continuous) in order to deal with problems and increase religious awareness, so as to be able to provide high motivation and enthusiasm for life. Islamic boarding schools with students with different backgrounds must have different behaviors in carrying out the process of studying at pesantren. In this difference, there are female students who behave masculine, this behavior can cause negative things in the pesantren environment if there is no treatment. In this regard, action research is conducted using the REBT approach using Islamic guidance and counseling to address masculine behavior. The results show that the factors that shape masculine behavior in a female santri are psychological factors and environmental factors. Masculine behavior carried out including; wearing men's clothes, how to walk like a man, and in terms of sexuality related to the same sex. And the results of actions in cycles one and two indicate a change.

Empirically transcendental communication creates inner experiences for humans. Humans as communicators convey messages in prayer as a medium of communication against God as an absolute communicator. The effect in transcendental communication felt by humans is inner peace or tranquility of the soul. In Islamic epistemology methodically known methods of thinking bayani, burhani and irfani. Burhani is a framework for thinking that is not based on sacred texts, nor experience. The aim of the viewfinder is exoteric, so the way it works is based on logic wrangling. Irfani is a thinking methodology model based on direct experience and approaches to religious spiritual reality. With Burhani's methodical reasoning humans use their minds in analyzing empirical events that are seen, heard and felt. But reason alone is not enough in processing human experience. then with the method of intuition or irfani use the heart to feel the inner experience that humans pass in each event of his life. The union with his Lord in prayer, which is manifested in his prayers, fasting and other worship become part of the process of human transcendental communication

Da'wah can also be called Islamic communication. In practice, da'wah is more interpreted as the delivery of Islamic teachings by a preacher. Sometimes preaching like this, more nuanced entertainment, so that afterwards does not cause a positive effect on the object of preaching. This is very different from the preaching done by KH. Achmad Muzakki Syah on the recitation of the recitation of the recitation of manakib Sheikh Abdul Qodir Jailani in PP. Al-Qodiri Jember. Where preaching, he can provide peace, accepted, and practiced by the object. The findings of this study are: First, the da'wah strategy is a therapeutic da'wah with the bi al-hikmah method and the bil thing method, namely by istiqamah praying for Muslims worldwide, fond of giving charity, and morality of the mercy, tahadduts bi an-ni'mah, utilizing family competence, and form the coordinator of the management. Second, the supporting factors of the da'wah strategy are family support, patient and forgiving personalities, high power, and strange events. The writing of this article is motivated by the condition of Ustadzah Zainiyah successfully guiding the students to become hufadz. Though these students must actively participate in education both diniyah and general. Diniyah and general education here differ in which institutions. So that students in addition to having the obligation to deposit memorization and maintain memorization that has been deposited, he must do the tasks of educational institutions both diniyah and general. This young teacher educates his students full of patience and modesty. The conclusion that the writer got from this research is Ustadzah Zainiyah in fostering hafidzah interacting with students using interpersonal communication to get to know the participants more closely. They are grouped by Ustadzah Zainiyah with the aim that there will be intimate communication between them so that later they will not feel awkward. Interpersonal communication also occurs between fellow students, which is marked by each participant asking for their origin, their goals and so forth

Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions that have strong roots in the Muslim community in Indonesia. Being in a boarding school requires students to make adjustments. One factor that influences self-adjustment is self-regulation. This research is a type of correlation research. The data obtained were analyzed using the statistical calculation of product moment correlation. Sampling using proportionate startified random sampling totaling 87 people. The measuring instrument used is a scale of self-regulation that refers to Bandura’s theory and a scale of adjustment that refers to Schneiders theory. The results of this study indicate that the level of self-regulation of adolescent new students is in the high category of 49 students (56%), and as many as 38 students (44%) are in the medium category. The results of the adjustment level of teenage new students were in the high category of 58 students (67%), and 29 students (33%) were in the medium category. The product moment analysis results show that there is a positive and very significant relationship between self-regulation and self-adjustment shown from the results of the Pearson correlation of (r) = 0.424 with sig (p) = 0.000 (p <0.05). Bibliotherapy is a guideline in solutions to overcome personal problems through reading. While the novel is one of the print media that is read and can be used as a media preaching by a preacher in conveying a message to his honey. Through novel reading, it is hoped that polygamous wives can gain self-acceptance, especially in the first wife who experiences polygamy. And the results of the overall benchmark from the wife's self-acceptance questionnaire from cycle I and cycle II, provided an increase in score which was rather inflated from a total of 24 to 30. Ie from a score of 24 was occupying medium self-acceptance that can still be controlled by the counselee in dealing with the problems they face. And increasing the score to 30 is the level of self-acceptance at the first safe point

Consumptive lifestyle is a person's lifestyle in meeting the needs of life not in accordance with their needs, but only to fulfill their desires. Consumptive lifestyles occur in many adolescents, including students. Santri who are expected to be able to make social changes among the people, are actually less able to face the consumptive lifestyle which is the impact of globalization. The results show that the behavioral approach can reduce the consumption habits of students. By determining the maximum target of spending every day, raises a sense of caution in the counselee in making purchases. ADHD (Attention Defisit Hyperactivity Disorder) is a child who have attention defisit and hyperactivity disorder.The ability of ADHD in concentraten on a objec and choose the informatoin is low.Learning attention fo ADHD is a effort for improvement the attention or focus to the matheri in class TK Inklusif Star Kids Jember have implemented demonstration method for the solution in that problem. The result show that:1) Demonstratin method is started by the teachers showing the media and discribing the subjec material with the suitable instrument with a RPPH in that day. Then the teachers asked for the ADHD to try and practice it one by one oversightly and controlly; 2) Proponent factors from demosntration method implementation is therapy, parent active action, and the completing instrumes or media visual display. The teachers strategy are therapy fungsion optimally, parenting event ones a mounth, connection book, and completing visual display media; 3)Demonstration method that was implemented in the class is able for improvement attention learning ADHD during 2-3 minutes.
