Jurnal Counseling Care (2597-6923) (2581-0650) is the official, peer-reviewed, open-access, electronic journal of the Study Program of Guidance and Counselling, Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat,is published biannual (April and October) dedicated to research and commentary on empirical, theoretical and innovative topics in the profession of school counseling and related areas. The goal in establishing Jurnal Counseling Care was to create an exciting new resource for the school counseling profession and related area with relevant and up-to-date material. Jurnal Counseling Care, publishes articles on practice, theory, and research in all areas of Guidance and Counseling also education related to Guidance and Counseling. Every submitted manuscript will be reviewed by at least two peer-reviewers using double blind review method. Abstract

Mahasiswa MKU yang mengikuti mata kuliah pengantar bimbingan dan konseling adalah mahasiswa yang berasal dari jurusan berbeda. Dalam mewujudkan proses perkuliahan yang efektif dan tercapainya hasil yang optimal, sangat diperlukan hubungan interpersonal yang baik. Tidak hanya dengan dosen pengampu mata kuliah, namun juga dengan sesama mahasiswa. Perbedaan jurusan memungkinkan adanya dampak yang terjadi terhadap hubungan interpersonal mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengungkap dan mendeskripsikan hubungan interpersonal mahasiswa mku pada mata kuliah pengantar bimbingan dan konseling. Jenis penelitiannya adalah deskriptif kualitatif  dengan populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa mku yang mengikuti mata kuliah pengantar bimbingan dan konseling yang berjumlah 51 orang. Data yang diperoleh dari observasi dan wawancara selanjutnya dianalisis. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hubungan interpersonal mahasis mku pada mata kuliah pengantar bimbingan dan konseling berjalan dengan cukup baik. Hal ini sesuai dengan indikator hubungan interpersonal yang meliputi: a) Komunikasi yang baik antar mahasiswa, b) Saling Menghargai, c) Saling Percaya, dan d) Saling mendukung antara satu dengan lainnya. Mahasiswa menunjukkan sikap saling membutuhkan satu sama lain. Hal ini merujuk kepada tujuan yang hendak dicapai secara bersama terkait dengan mata kuliah pengantar bimbingan dan konseling.

Abstract

Free association makes humans insensitive to cultural norms that exist in society, as well as the ethics of communicating with others (interpersonal communication). In Minangkabau, communication with other people has rules and ethics called kato nan ampek. When individuals do not understand and do not apply kato nan ampek in communication, it is called Minang Indak Tau di Nan Ampek. Kato Nan Ampek communication model in Minangkabau culture as an effective pattern of communication to build counselor and counselee relationships. The purpose of this research is to improve the counselee's interpersonal communication related to kato nan ampek. This study uses the library research research method. Data analysis technique using content analysis. The results of the study show that communication patterns greatly determine the success of counseling. Kato Nan Ampek's communication model can be an alternative in implementing counseling services. The counselee's interpersonal communication skills can be improved for the better through group counseling with a transactional analysis approach (AT).Keywords: interpersonal communication, kato nan ampek, counseling transactional

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to find out the description of student learning difficulties at SDN 05 Ciganjur. This research uses descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sample of this study included all students in grades 4 and 5 of SDN 05 Ciganjur, South Jakarta who were registered in the 2016-2017 school year as many as 131 students. The data in this study were collected using PTSDL AUM as a simple and easy to express problem tool to communicate the quality and problems of students to assisting personnel (counselors). overall the score of the respondent's achievement for students' learning difficulties is in the sufficient category. Seen in the sub-variables there are three sub-variables that are in good quality, namely the sub-variables of learning skills by 77.24%, the personal sub-variables by 79.31%, and the sub-variables of the socio-emotional environment by 85.71%. The implications of the research results can be used as an analysis of students' needs for making BK programs in student learning difficulties.Keywords : Learning difficulties, Guidance and Counseling ServicesABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kesulitan belajar siswa di SDN 05 Ciganjur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sample penelitian ini mencakup seluruh siswa kelas 4 dan 5 SDN 05 Ciganjur  Jakarta Selatan yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2016-2017 sebanyak 137 orang siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan AUM PTSDL merupakan alat ungkap masalah sederhana dan mudah digunakan untuk mengkomunikasikan mutu dan masalah siswa kepada personel yang membantu (konselor). secara keseluruhan skor capaian responden untuk kesulitan belajar siswa berada pada kategori cukup. Dilihat pada sub variabel terdapat tiga sub variable yang berada pada mutu baik yaitu sub variabel keterampilan belajar sebesar 77.24%, sub variable diri pribadi sebesar 79.31%, dan sub variable lingkungan sosio-emosional sebesar 85.71%. Implikasi hasil penelitian tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai analisis kebutuhan siswa untuk pemberian pelayanan BK dalam kesulitan belajar siswa.Kata kunci : kesulitan belajar, pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to: 1) describe adolescent maladjustment based on the rational emotive behavior therapy counseling model; 2) describe the design of a counseling service program based on an adjustment error model for rational emotional behavior therapy counseling that is theoretically acceptable. This research method is a quantitative method with the type of research and development. The research sample was 64 teenagers and the theoretical experts were research supervisors as many as 2 people. The data collection tool used in this study was a questionnaire. Abstract

The background of this research is the existence of some students who display undisciplinedbehavior in school, such as coming late to come to school and so forth. The purpose of this studyis how the effectiveness pelaysanaan individual counseling services in mendisipnlikan class Xstudents electrical majors in SMK Negeri 5 Padang, using general and special techniques. Theresearch is quantitative descriptive research. The population of this study were 38 students ofclass X of electrical majors at SMK Negeri 5 Padang who had attended individual counseling. Thesampling technique is total sampling. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Data analysistechnique used is technique percentage. The findings of this study indicate that: 1) theapplication of general and specialized techniques to individual counseling can improve studentdiscipline. This research is recommended for students of electric X class X who have participatedin individual counseling services to improve their discipline. Then to the school community, inorder to give full attention to the students and to cooperate with all the personnel or citizens ofschool which aims in improving the discipline of learners.Keywords: General techniques of individual counseling services, specific techniques ofindividual counseling services, discipline

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was motivated by an initial survey related to the time management of students at the State Junior High School 13 Mukomuko. Phenomenon researchers in the field, there are indications of learning barriers in time management, especially in. This study aims to identify adolescent time management in learning. The research population was 153 teenagers. The research sample was 30 teenagers using the purposive sampling technique. Questionnaire data collection tool, and analyzed using the percentage technique. The results of the study revealed that adolescent time management in learning was in poor criteria. This is seen from the aspect of setting goals and priorities, and time mechanism techniques, aspects of time control. Furthermore, based on research, there is still a lack of ability of adolescents in managing bibliotherapy study time to optimize adolescent time management in the form of books, videos, which are given individually or in groups. Keywords: adolescents, learning management, bibliotherapy.  ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh survey awal terkait manajamen waktu peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 13 Mukomuko. Peneliti melihat fenomena di lapangan, adanya indikasi hambatan remaja dalam manajemen waktu khususnya dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi manajemen waktu remaja dalam belajar. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 153 orang remaja. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 30 orang remaja menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Alat pengumpul data angket, dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian mengngkapkan bahwa manajemen waktu remaja dalam belajar berada pada kriteria kurang baik. Hal ini dilihat dari aspek menetapkan tujuan dan prioritas, dan teknik mekanisme waktu, aspek kontrol terhadap waktu. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan penelitian masih kurangnya kemapuan remaja dalam memanajemen waktu belajar diberikan biblioterapy untuk mengoptimalkan manajemen waktu remaja baik dalam bentuk buku, video, yang dilakukan secara individu maupun kelompok. Kata Kunci : remaja, manajemen waktu, bibliotherapy.

Abstract

Generasi emas 45 perlu didukung dalam pencapainnya melalui mempersiapkan remaja sebagai generasi penerus estafet pembangunan bangsa ke depan. Remaja perlu dipersiapakan untuk pencapaian perkembangan yang matang, terhindar dari perilaku salah suai (malaadjusment). Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan di Tahun 2016 tentang perilaku salah suai yang terjadi pada remaja dari beberapa pendekatan seperti analisis transaksional, rational emotif behavior therapy dan pendekatan realitas. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa remaja pada umumnya banyak memiliki tingkah laku salah suai. Jika kondisi ini tidak disikapi, maka akan mengganggu perkembangan remaja selanjutnya. Dengan demikian melalui tulisan ini akan dibahas secara mendalam tentang bagaimana kolaborasi antara sekolah dan keluarga mengatasi tingkah laku salah suai remaha (maladjusment).

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the existence of students who live with single parents either order of words live with fathers or who live with mothers less independent in learning. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning independence of students living with single parent parents viewed from: 1) Confident in learning, 2) Able to work alone in learning, 3) Mastering expertise and learning skills, 4) Apprexcite learning time, 5) Responsible for learning. This research is a qualitative research. There are two key informants in this study, namely JMP and CTP as well as three additional informants consisting of the homeroom teacher, guidance and counseling teacher, subject teacher, and close friend. The instruments use in this study was observation and interview guidelines, data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display and verification/inference. The result of the study revealed that the learning independence of students living with single parent parents was: 1) JMP and CTP are less confident in learning. 2) JMP and CTP are less capable of self-study. 3) JMP lacks expertise and learning skills, whereas CTP has mastered learning expertise and skills. 4) JMP and CTP do not appreciate the time spent studying. 5) JMP is less responsible for learning, whereas CTP is already responsible for learning. Key Word : Independence of  Learning, Single Parent  ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya siswa kurang mandiri dalam belajar yang tinggal dengan orang tua tunggal baik tinggal bersama ayah maupun ibu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemandirian belajar siswa yang tinggal dengan orang tua tunggal dilihat dari: 1) Percaya diri dalam belajar, 2) Mampu bekerja sendiri dalam belajar, 3) Menguasai keahlian dan keterampilan belajar, 4) Menghargai waktu belajar, 5) Bertanggung jawab untuk belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Ada dua informan kunci dalam penelitian ini yaitu JMP dan CTP serta tiga informan tambahan yang terdiri dari wali kelas, guru bimbingan dan konseling, guru mata pelajaran, dan teman dekat. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pedoman observasi dan wawancara, data dianalisis dengan reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa kemandirian belajar siswa yang tinggal dengan orang tua tunggal adalah: 1) JMP dan CTP kurang percaya diri dalam belajar. 2) JMP dan CTP kurang mampu belajar mandiri. 3) JMP kurang memiliki keahlian dan keterampilan belajar, sedangkan CTP telah menguasai keahlian dan keterampilan belajar. 4) JMP dan CTP tidak menghargai waktu yang dihabiskan untuk belajar. 5) JMP kurang bertanggung jawab untuk belajar, sedangkan CTP sudah bertanggung jawab untuk belajar.  Kata Kunci : Kemandirian Belajar, Orangtua Tunggal

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the existence of students with special needs who do not care when the Guidance and Counseling Teachers provide services and the existence of Guidance and Counseling Teachers who spend a long time to provide services to children with special needs because children have weak grasp and below average abilities. average in Vocational High School 4 Padang. The purpose of this study is to describe the internal barriers of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in providing services to children with special needs. This research is a type of qualitative research, with 4 key informants as Guidance and Counseling Teachers and 3 additional informants, namely special assistant teachers, subject teachers and school principals. The instrument of this research is to use interview guidelines in the form of structured interviews, observations and documentation studies and processed by conducting data analysis inductively-deductively. The results of the study revealed that in general the Guidance and Counseling Teacher has internal barriers in providing services to children with special needs in Padang Vocational High School 4 Padang. Guidance and Counseling teachers do not have enough knowledge about how to deal with children with special needs. The results of this study are recommended to the Guidance and Counseling Teachers to further enhance their understanding by attending training on how to deal with children with special needs and the principal to pay more attention to the facilities needed by the Guidance and Counseling Teacher in providing services to children with special needs.

Abstract

 The background of this research is that there are some students whose developmental tasks have not developed well, this study aims to reveal the role of parents, teachers and peers in helping students achieve developmental tasks, the questions of this research are; 1. What is the role of parents in helping students achieve developmental tasks at MTs S 02 Al-Munawwaroh kepahiang, 2. What is the role of teachers in helping students achieve developmental tasks at MTs S 02 Al-Munawwaroh kepahiang, 3. What is the role of peers in helping students achieve developmental tasks at MTs S 02 Al-Munawwarah, the research subjects are parents, teachers and peers. The research method used in this study is a type of qualitative research. The research approach in this study is descriptive. This study does not have a hypothesis, because this research is not intended to test hypotheses that have been formulated to be rejected or accepted, but emphasizes collecting data to describe the actual situation in the field, collecting data by means of interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, in general, there is a role for parents, teachers and peers in helping students achieve assignments at MTs S 02 Al-Munawwarah kepahiang. In particular, there is a role for parents in helping students achieve developmental tasks at MTs S Al-Munawwaro Kepahiang. There is a teacher's role in helping students achieve developmental tasks at Mts S 02 Al-Munawwaro Kepahiang. There is a role of peers in helping other students in achieving developmental tasks at MTs S 02 Al-Munawwaroh kepahiang.
