Abstract

Good governance is always related to work, especially good quality work. Government organizations are expected to provide good quality work, so that there is good work performance. This type of research uses census research, where research takes all members of the population as respondents (data sources) and uses questionnaires as the main data collection tool. Using a quantitative approach and using descriptive methods to determine the influence of Good Governance on employee work performance at the Majauleng District Office, Wajo Regency. The results of research data analysis on Good Governance and Work Performance show that Good Governance at the Majauleng District Office is in the good category. Likewise with the Job Performance variable which is in the good category. The influence that the Good Governance variable has on Work Performance is in the very strong and positive category and the data is significant. The conclusion from the research results with the title The Influence of Good Governance on Work Performance is as follows. Good Governance at the Majauleng District Office, Wajo Regency is in the good category. The work performance of Majauleng District Office Employees in Wajo Regency is in the very good category. The results of data analysis show that the influence provided is a very strong influence with a positive and significant relationship direction

Abstract

The decline in the water quality of the Batang Kuantan river is caused by excessive human activity, and what has attracted the most attention is the activity of Unlicensed Gold Miners (PETI), PETI activities are people who changed jobs from being farmers to becoming gold miners, due to economic factors. PETI makes river water black and smelly, this is caused by the washing and panning process using mercury or quicksilver. To make the public aware, environmental communication is needed which explains the state of the environment, its impacts and handling, and the main communicator in this environmental communication is the Government (DLH) which is committed to environmental management. Therefore, this research aims to find out the government's environmental communication planning (DLH) as a communicator in environmental conservation programs, to find out the implementation of the Government (DLH) in implementing environmental damage prevention programs. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach with the technique of determining research subjects, namely purposive . The author uses data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The number of informants was five people according to the criteria determined purposively. The data analysis technique in this research uses the Miles and Huberman Model and the data validity checking technique, namely triangulation. The results of the research show that environmental communication carried out by the Government (DLH) in implementing the environmental damage prevention program carried out by the Government (DLH) requires communication planning. The planning carried out consists of analyzing the problem, analyzing the audience, formulating goals, developing messages, planning media production. Apart from that, the implementation of environmental communication activities from DLH includes socialization actions, raids/raids, and appeals to the community in Cerenti District, especially the community of Sikakak Village.

Abstract

Bengkulu Province is an area rich in culture and traditions which are still considered a legacy from our ancestors, one of which is Tabot. That in this era of globalization, competition between regions is getting tougher by increasingly developing regional potential and uniqueness so that they are able to compete with other regions. In this case, a city needs a strategy to create a strong regional or global positioning, this is better known as City Branding. City branding is one of the appropriate strategies to be implemented by the Bengkulu Province Tourism Office to develop a city identity that can attract domestic and foreign tourists to visit Bengkulu Province. This research aims to understand the city branding strategy of the Bengkulu Province Tourism Office in developing city branding through the Tabot Festival. This research method uses a qualitative research method using a descriptive approach. This qualitative research aims to explain the phenomenon through interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. In this research there were five informants who were taken using purposive techniques. In data analysis techniques by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. And checking the validity of the data was carried out using triangulation. The results of this research are for an identity strategy to first determine the identity of the city which can differentiate it from other areas which is symbolized using a logo or tagline. The objective strategy for city branding through the Tabot festival is to raise the image of the city and to attract the interest of local and foreign tourists. The strategy used by the Bengkulu Province Tourism Office is to collaborate with stakeholders related to the tourism sector such as the tourism industry, and to promote through media such as electronic media, online media, printed promotional media such as billboards and banners. The coherence strategy is to have a common message conveyed in promoting this branding, namely through communication carried out with other stakeholders by including the branding logo from Bengkulu Province.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of the BPK in providing financial reports and providing evaluations of state agencies' efforts to optimize community prosperity. Through the use of qualitative systems and strategies for reviewing legislation and literature. The research results show that performance audits are the thing that has the strongest relationship between audits and community prosperity. Performance evaluation is the only test that can guarantee the management of public funds (people's prosperity).

Abstract

One of the most common crimes in society is child abuse. Article 351 paragraph (1) of the Penal Code (KUHP) regulates and threatens criminal offenses in Indonesian criminal law. Medan District Court Decision No. 1621/Pid.B/2023/PN Mdn, regarding criminal abuses, will be discussed in this article. This study analyzes events and court decisions. Research methods include analysis of court decisions and legal analysis of criminal behavior. Research results show that, according to the provisions of the Penal Code, abuse crimes can be classified into many types, including general abuse, mild abuse, intentional abuse and severe abuse. Important. Preventive and repressive measures are necessary to combat criminal acts. Criminal law is used to solve problems in society, while non-criminal methods focus on prevention. To bring justice to victims and all parties involved, law enforcement must understand the behavioral factors associated with criminal abuse.

Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology, this study was carried out to evaluate the implementation and utilization of WEBDESAKU in the context of the Sawahkulon Village government. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and literature studies. The results show that WEBDESAKU is essential in transforming village governance improving effectiveness, transparency, and accountability. However, there are obstacles related to community understanding and awareness and the capabilities of village equipment in operating this platform. However, concerning Purwakarta Regent Regulation Number 253 of 2019, this study highlights the potential of WEBDESAKU as a vital instrument in implementing technology-based governance in Sawahkulon Village.

Abstract

. This research aims to determine the maintenance of office facilities at Institute X, which includes the maintenance process and scheduling of office facility maintenance. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, namely by describing and analyzing the problems found. The subjects of this research are four employees of Institute X for Finance, General Affairs, and Logistics. Qualitative research is based on primary data and secondary data. Primary data in this research was obtained by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation, while secondary data was obtained through books, previous research, and articles related to research. The results of this research show that Institute X has carried out routine maintenance of office facilities, such as air conditioners and official vehicles. However, not all office facilities receive attention in their maintenance. This can be seen from the lack of lighting in the guest waiting room, which makes the room look dark. Then, there is no storage space or warehouse, which causes unused office equipment to be placed in the multipurpose room, where this room is also used as a meeting room.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The aim of the article is to provide a prediction of the threat of simultaneous elections in 2024 by highlighting the threat of absenteeism or white groups, the threat of delays in election logistics, the threat of identity politics, the threat of successful team conflict, and the threat of security disturbances. The method used is a literature review from secondary sources related to threat prediction and anticipation. The findings in this article show that the readiness and cooperation of election organizers, the police and political parties is very important to reduce and manage threats from the beginning to the end of the 2024 simultaneous elections.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how the Effect of the Quality of Service of the Nagari Wali on Community Satisfaction in Improving the Economy of Nagari Ujung Gading. In this study, the incidental sampling technique was used as a sampling technique. the purpose of the incidental sampling technique is that the sample is selected by chance, in other words, everyone the researcher meets by chance can be used as a sample if those encountered are considered appropriate as a source of information or data. The sample in this study was the Ujung Gading community. In this study, the data were analyzed using a simple linear regression test, then the hypothesis was tested by testing the coefficient of determination (R²) and partial test (t). Furthermore, the data was processed using SPSS software. The results obtained in the study show that the quality of service at Wali Nagari Ujung Gading, West Pasaman Regency, partially has a positive and significant impact on community satisfaction in improving the economy.

Abstract

City of Gastronomy as a field of science that studies food and culture is one of the focuses of Salatiga City to become one of the Culinary Creative Cities in the UCCN international event. In this case, the potential and diversity of social culture in Salatiga must be able to be utilized properly and maximally to achieve the goal of developing Salatiga City into a Gastronomic City. The Salatiga City Culture and Tourism Office through its main tasks and functions seeks to realize this. This study aims to determine the performance of the apparatus in the development of the Gastronomic City at the Culture and Tourism Office of the City of Salatiga, to determine the factors that hinder the development of the Gastronomic City and to determine the efforts made by the Culture and Tourism Office of Salatiga City in the development of the Gastronomic City. The research design used by the researcher is a qualitative research with a descriptive method and an inductive approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. Furthermore, for data analysis techniques, researchers used data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman model which consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of research based on the use of Performance Theory according to Agus Dwiyanto show that the performance of Apparatus in Gastronomic City Development can be said to be good in the dimensions of Productivity, Responsiveness, and Accountability and not good in the dimensions of Service Quality and Responsibility. There are several suggestions from the authors in this study for the need for maximum consistency and effort from the Culture and Tourism Office of Salatiga City so that the implementation of Gastronomy Development can be carried out optimally.
