Abstract

Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 25 of 2004 mandates the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) as a benchmark for assessing the quality of public services. UPT PKB Malang City which provides services in the field of Motorized Vehicle Testing, needs to measure IKM. The last evaluation in 2020 showed a "GOOD" value, but did not pay attention to the latest regulations related to IKM, namely Permenpan No.14 of 2017. Previous research has shown that the application of IKM using indicators from Permenpan No.14 of 2017 can increase the level of agency service. So this research aims to further examine the implementation of IKM by referring to Permenpan No.14 of 2017, as a form of excellent service. The method used in this research is to use observational research techniques, interviews and questionnaires. The method of analysis used is quantitative analysis which is generated based on quantitative data obtained through data collection. The results of this study prove that it is important to periodically evaluate IKM with Permenpan No.14 of 2017 regularly in supporting the performance targets of testing agencies and can improve service elements where the IKM value resulting from this study is "75.08" having quality "poor" service.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the improvement of students' creative thinking ability through the implementation of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model in the Element 10 of Public Relations and Protocol Management for grade XI MPLB students at SMK N 1 Sukoharjo. This research is a classroom action research, conducted over two cycles. Each cycle is carried out in four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data sources were obtained from informants (teachers who taught Element 10 of Public Relations and Protocol Management and grade XI MPLB students at SMK N 1 Sukoharjo), documents (teaching modules, student worksheets, student attendance lists, student test scores on creative thinking ability, observations of creative thinking ability, and observations of the implementation of the CPS learning model). Data collection techniques were conducted through tests, observations, and documentation. The validity of the data was tested using expert judgment and triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques used quantitative data analysis (comparative descriptive) and qualitative data analysis (data reduction, data presentation, and verification). The results showed that the average score of pre-cycle creative thinking ability test was 39,93% with a mastery level of 11,11% categorized as less creative. In the first cycle, the average score of the creative thinking ability test increased to 59.72% with a mastery level of 38.89% categorized as moderately creative, and in the second cycle, the average score of the creative thinking ability test increased to 70,14% with a mastery level of 80,56% categorized as creative. Therefore, it can be concluded that the CPS learning model can improve the creative thinking ability of grade XI MPLB 1 students at SMK N 1 Sukoharjo.

Abstract

This article aims to investigate the implementation of differentiated learning at SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta. The research focuses on teachers' understanding of the nature and implementation of differentiated learning, as well as the challenges they face in its implementation. To approach this issue, theoretical references are drawn from previous studies relevant to differentiated learning and diverse approaches for students. Data were collected through classroom observations, documentation of teaching materials, and interviews with the head of the curriculum department and teachers who have implemented differentiated learning. The data were then qualitatively analyzed using interactive descriptive techniques. The findings of this study conclude that the majority of teachers have a good understanding of the nature of differentiated learning and recognize the importance of valuing student diversity. However, teachers face several challenges, including managing classes with diverse levels of abilities, limited resources and technology, and differences in understanding and approaches in implementing differentiated learning. Efforts made to overcome these challenges include teacher training and development, the use of technology and digital resources, collaboration among teachers, and a flexible approach to teaching. Thus, this article provides an overview of the implementation of differentiated learning at SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta and recommendations for improving its implementation more effectively.

Abstract

Population management is one of the services that the local government must offer. The Bandung Regency Government established E-Sakedap in response to widespread public complaints regarding population administration services. Sakedap is an online service for maintaining marriage and divorce certificates for non-Muslims, as well as birth, death, and moving in and out certifications for Indonesian nationals. Data from the research findings were collected, analyzed, and compared using the descriptive qualitative research method. The focus of the study is Sakedap's population administration service innovation in Ciparay Village, Bandung. Kurhayadi claims that the attribute theory of innovation—which takes into account comparative benefits, ease of observation, appropriateness, complexity, and the possibility of trying—is the theory used in the analysis. The research's conclusions, in particular the Sakedap in Program at the Ciparay Village Office, have been able to provide advantages in the form of simpler service because visiting the village is sufficient; visiting the Population and Civil Registry Office is not required. The village is quicker and uses less energy because you don't need to visit as frequently, so there is no need to spend money there either. The implementation of Sakedap is in accordance with the applicable laws, and E-Sakedap is in accordance with the community's demands in order to obtain services that will make population administration easier. There are no problems with Sakedap implementation in Ciparay Village, Bandung. People who lack technological skills and those who think complexity only grows are both wrong. The installation of Sakedap has allowed the community to readily track the scope of the service process for creating population administration records.

Abstract

The goal to be achieved in this research is to find out the implementation of community information group (KIM) policies based on community empowerment in Paser Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. In order to obtain data related to the required research focus, the researchers conducted interviews with the KIM chairman, KIM members and community leaders. In order to support the information obtained, the researcher also conducted field observations. The results of this study indicate that the communication established by KIM members is based on flexible timeframes, limited to communication via WhatsApp. Formal recruitment has not been optimally carried out because the KIM organization is voluntary in which the majority of its members are village officials themselves so that the resources recruited do not have the expertise in the required field, namely IT. the members do not yet have the ability to be competent in their field, considering that this organization is voluntary, the members who participate are also from the village community who do not yet have qualified skills. the organizational structure is explained that in KIM the organizational structure consists of a chairman and members where the structure is a differentiator in completing tasks and responsibilities. Obstacles faced which include the lack of incentives that make KIM members not run according to formal procedures, low understanding of journalism, low time management and low facilities and infrastructure owned.
