The purpose of this study is to describe improvement of student learning outcomes in science learning using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model. This research is a classroom action research (CAR), using short qualitative and quantitative methods. This study consists of two cycles with observation sheet research instruments test sheet. The research subjects were teachers and fifth grade students of elementary school 01 Kapau, Agam Regency, amounting to 25 people.The results showed an increase in: (a) Plans in the first cycle were on average 8 5.75 % (B ) cycle II to 96 % (SB), (b) Implementation of cycle I aspect of the teacher averaged 79 % (B) cycle II to 94.4 % (SB) and cycle implementation The aspect of students with a score of 75 % (C) cycle II to 91, 7 % (SB) , (c) student learning outcomes in cycle I on average were 71.73 ( C ) cycle II to 83 (B). Concluded that CTL models can improve science learning outcomes for fifth grade students of elementary school 01 Kapau, Agam Regency.Keywords: contextual teaching and learning (ctl) model, sains

Abstract The aim of this research was to increase the students’ learning achievement in Natural Science by using Constructivism approach in grade V of SDN 19 Koto Tuo Selatan. This classroom Action Research applied both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subject of the research was the teacher and 20 students in grade V of SDN 19 Koto Tuo Selatan. This research was conducted in two cycles in which each cycle consisted of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The instruments of the research were test and observation sheet. The result of the research showed that the students’ learning achievement improved from 72 in cycle I to 87 in cycle II. Key Terms : Approach, Natural Science Learning dan Constructivism Approach

The research is aimed to find the difference of students learning outcomes of mathematics using Bruner theory with Dienes theory in students grade IV SDN Gugus 1 Kecamatan Sungai Puar. This research is quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The sample was taken by using cluster sampling technique and the sample are students in class IV SDN 14 Simpang Ampek which consists of two classes, 21 students in IV.A and 23 students in IV.B . The results of the calculation of the research data used are t-test obtained by tcount 2.6875 > ttable 2.0181 at the level of α 0.05. It can be concluded that there is a significant difference in student learning outcomes in square and rectangular material using Bruner's learning theory and Dienes’s learning theory in students grade IV SDN Gugus 1 Kecamatan Sungai Puar.

The research aim to know there is or no correlation between students motivation in learning with learning outcomes of five grade of primary school on cluster two in Baso Subdistrict Agam District. This type of research is quantitative research with correlation research methods. The amount of sample is 30 students, five grade of primary school on cluster two in Baso Subdistrict Agam District. The result of the research there is positive correlation an significant between students motivation in learning with learning outcomes of five grade of primary school on cluster two in Baso Subdistrict Agam District. This was proven from rhitung > rtabel = 0,971>0,361, and significance 5%. Which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so the hypothesis says "there is a correlation between students in learning motivation with learning outcomes of five grade of primary school on cluster two in Baso Subdistrict Agam District." accepted.

AbstractThe research is aimed to describe the improvement of the students learning outcomes in learning the Social Science Subject by using the Cooperative Learning, Two Stay Two Stray Model at 5th grade of SDN 10 Bandar Buat. The type of research used in this study is in the form of quasi-experimental design in the form of a nonequivalent control group design. The subjects of the research were the students of grade 5A and 5B of the school. The data was collected by using test. Based on the hypothesis test and by using the t-test with significant level 5%, with the tcalculation> ttable (2.03 > 1.67). This study purpose to determine the effect influence of the use cooperative type Numbered Head Together to the civic education learning outcomes. This research is an experimental research design with Quasi Exsperimental. The sample in this research is class VA and class VB. The calculation result of research data used was obtained t t-test 2,26 > 1.67722 ttable at α level of 0.05. With it can be concluded that there is significant influence of the use cooperative tipe Numbered Head Together to the civic education learning outcomes of class V SDN 13 Cingkariang Kecamatan Banuhampu Kabupaten Agam. This research is caused by the lack of trained students in solving problems related to problem solving through group collaboration. This research aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes on integrated thematic learning using the Problem Solving method. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research using a qualitative and quantitative approach. The study was consistsof two cycles. The research design includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were students of class IVB of 30 Cengkeh SDN in Padang City. The results of the study showed: a). RPP I cycle 81% cycle II 94% b). Implementation on aspects of the teacher the first cycle 83%, second cycle 94% c). Implementation on aspects of learners first cycle 77% and secondcycle 94% d) Learning outcomes students in first cycle obtaines an average score of 76, cycle II 86. So that,the Problem Solving method can improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class IVB SDN 30 Cengkeh, Padang City. The results Obtained by using the technique of Mind Mapping with two cycles Showed an increase of. The average assessment of learning design first cycle was 75% (quite) Increased in the second cycle to 94.6% (very good). Assessment of the implementation aspects of the teacher's first cycle was 76.3% (good) Increased in the second cycle to 88.8% (very good), and aspects of the students' first cycle was 73.8% (good) Increased in the second cycle to 93.8 % (very good). As well as student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 71.4 (average) Increased in the second cycle to 83.7 (good). The writing scientific papers aims to analyze the application of the Speed Reading method in integrated thematic learning seen from the increase in student learning outcomes in elementary schools. This writing is based on the background of the low student learning outcomes in elementary schools because there are still many teachers who do not apply innovative learning models and the application of integrated thematic learning that has not been seen, teachers still use conventional teacher-centered learning models so that students are less active in the learning process. The Speed Reading method is one way to help students so that students can understand the reading text quickly. This scientific writing method uses literature studies (Library Research). By collecting 15 reputable journals with the topic, then analyzing the extent to which student learning outcomes have improved by applying the Speed Reading method. From the results of the data analysis, it shows that the Speed Reading method can improve student learning outcomes with varying amounts of improvement.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of learning mathematics Android-based media to the critical thinking skills of students. Matematika is one of the basic science that has a very important role in the effort to the field of science and technology. More added math may prepare students to apply mathematics that are needed in everyday use. This type of research quasi-experimentalresearch design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all fourth grade learners Al-Azhar Bukittinggi. The sampling technique is done by using purposive sampling, so the class was selected as the control class IVA and IVB class as a class experiment. Before determining the samples, then tested using the analysis prerequisite test for normality and homogeneity. Instruments used in the form of objective tests.Based on the results of data analysis calculations t-test with a level of 0.05 was obtained signifikasn t (2,51) and ttable (2.10). So that t> t table, where 2.51> 2.10. Thus it can be concluded that Ha is received, which is containedthe effect of the use of learning mathematics Android-based media to the critical thinking ability of students learning in fourth grade Denomination Al-Azhar Bukittinggi.
