Abstract

The purpose of this research was improve the social studies learning used NHT of 5th grade elementary school. Types of this research was classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approach. Subject of this research were students of 5th grade were 25 people of 10 men and 15 women. Research conducted in two cycles with research procedure includes of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The result of research was improve a) Lesson plan the cycles of I was 80% and the cycles II of 96,42% b) Implementation teacher’s activity of I cycle was 81,25% and II cycle was 96,8% while implementation students activity of I cycle was 78,12% and II cycle was 96,8% c) the students learning outcomes in the I cycle was 77,1 and II cycle was 87,3. It can be concluded that used NHT model can improve students achievement in learning social science of 5th grade at SDN 18 Air Tawar Padang.Keyword : Learning outcomes, Social science, NHT

Abstract

The research aim to know there is or no correlation between students motivation in learning with learning outcomes in themati  learning of fourth grade of primary school on cluster two in Solok CIty. This type of research is quantitative research with correlation research methods. The amount of sample is 47 students, fourth grade of primary school on cluster two in Solok City. The result of the research there is positive correlation an significant between students motivation in learning with learning outcomes in thematic learning of fourth grade of primary school on cluster two in Solok City. This was proven from rhitung > rtabel = 0,390>0,2876, and significance value 0.000 < 0.005. Which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so the hypothesis says "there is a correlation between students in learning motivation with learning outcomes in thematic learning in of fourth grade of primary school on cluster two in Solok City" accepted.

Abstract

Abstract

Emotional Intelligence is the ability to motivate yourself, resolve the frustration, control the pressure, adjust mood, empathy and the ability to work in team. In fact, we found that there are still students who speak harshly to their friends, often cursing others and even there are students who easily get angry and tempered when their friends give a joke. One of the factors that influence it is interpersonal communication in their family. The purpose of this study is to: (1) describe students’  emotional intelligence, (2) describe interpersonal communication in their family, and (3) test the significance of the relationship of the interpersonal communication in the family with students emotional intelligence.  This research is a quantitative research with descriptive correlational type. The population of this study were 475 students of SMA Adabiah 2 Padang  and a sample in number of 219 students that is selected by Stratified Random Sampling method. The instruments which used were interpersonal communication  in students family and students' emotional intelligence questionnaires. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical techniques and Pearson Product Moment techniques. This research found  that: (1) the interpersonal communication in family was in a good category with its percentage is 77.54%, (2) students' emotional intelligence in the high category with its percentage is 77.48%, (3) there is a significant positive relationship between interpersonal communication in the family and students' emotional intelligence with a correlation coefficient is 0.578 and a significance level is 0.000. It can be concluded that there is a significantly positive relationship between interpersonal communication in family and students' emotional intelligence.Keywords: Interpersonal Communication, Family, Emotional Intelligence.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to describe the planning, the implementation, and the increase of the learning outcome of geometry characteristics oriented to Van Hiele theory in the fifth grade of Public Elementary School number 11 Indarung of Padang. The type of the study was a clasroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approach. The subjects of the study were the teacher and the 23 students. The result of the study showed that there  was an enhancement from cycle I to cycle II as following: (a) the planning in cycle I increased by 10,7% in cycle II, (b) the implementation of the teacher and the students aspects in cycle I increased by 15% in cycle II, (c) the learning outcome in cycle I increased by 10,5 in cycle II.Key words: geometry characteristics, Van Hiele theory

Abstract

The research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Civics by using cooperative learning model co-op co-op type in class V SDN 11 Koto Marapak Kec.Pariaman Timur. The type of research is PTK, using a quantitative and qualitative approach. The result of research of RPP of cycle I average 72% increase in cycle II to 84%. In the teacher cycle aspect I average 72% increase in cycle II to 90%. In the student aspect, the first cycle I is 71% increase in cycle II to 82%. Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of teachers providing opportunities for students to solve problems that make students not too understand what they are learning. This tudy aims to describe the results of integrated thematic learning using a model of cooperative learning type jigsaw,  class of elementary school 10 Bandar Buat, Padang. This type of research is classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative appoarches. This research was conducted in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. This research was conducted in 2 cycles.  The result of the study of students learning, there is a change in the aspect of knowledge in the first cycle which achieved an average score of 61,75% in sulfficient category (C) increased to 91% in the excellent category (SB) in cycle II. Keywords:

Abstract

This research aim was to describe the improve of learning achievement in science study by using skill proccess approach at public elementary school in Kuamang Pasaman. This study used the classroom action research methode in two cycles study. Each cycle consisted of planning action, observation, and reflection term. The data was analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative approach. The research subject's is 30 students. Abstract

The study is intended to describe the impact that application of the basea learning project (project) on learning integrated thematic results in elementary schools is quantitative In the form of quasy experimentation des ign with the non equnalent control group design. Technique Sampling of the chuster random sampling. The research subject is a student student of the visdn zero-one class, a city of wasteland. Research shows: the average pretest/experimental class that applies learning using the model project based learning is 50.42 and the average study posttest for experimental class testing is 85.76. Whereas the study in the control class the results of pretesr learning are 64.4 and the average learning results after cataloging using a conventional approach have a postest 69.19. Based on the hypothesis test done with test t, acquired t'= 6.42 > td2.0096. Thus the uodel project rased leatuing has hada significant impact on learning integrated tenatik in elementary school.

Abstract

Through this research the writer applied metode eksperimen is learning processes for there are many student. Observational stage is described in planning , implementation, and reflection stages. Type of this research is classroom action research, using both  qualitative appr and quantitative apprauching  one consisting of two cycles. Observational student is class fou rgreat and observational. Analysis’s result to learning planning on.Cycle is 73,4 experience step-ups on the second cycle, by derived 90,5. Result observinging to activity learns in learning on I, cycle is 68,7,1 experience step-us on the second is 81,4. Result observinging to student activity in learning on I cycle is 68,7 experience step-ups on the second cycle, by derived 82,5. Learning  result the student perform research average 71,8 on the second cycle, average 79,9. In short, the classroom action research uses metode eksperimen could increase the student’s study result for exact science course.
