Abstract

This study examines the diverse epistemological approaches in Islam - traditional (naqli), rational (aqli), and sufistic (dzauqi) - which reflect different methods of acquiring and validating knowledge. The research problem stems from the frequent isolation of these approaches in contemporary discourse, creating a gap in understanding their potential integration and collective contribution to Islamic thought. The objectives are threefold: (1) to analyze the methodological foundations of each approach, (2) to compare their strengths and limitations, and (3) to explore their complementary roles in addressing modern epistemological challenges. Using qualitative methodology with literature analysis, the study draws from classical Islamic texts and works by key figures like Al-Ghazali, Ibn Sina, and Ibn Arabi. The findings reveal that while the naqli approach emphasizes textual authority, aqli prioritizes reason, and dzauqi values spiritual experience, these methods are not mutually exclusive. Rather, they form a dynamic spectrum of knowledge acquisition in Islam. The research demonstrates how integrating these approaches can enrich contemporary Islamic scholarship, particularly in reconciling faith with modern science and addressing secular epistemological frameworks. The implications suggest the need for educational models that harmonize textual, rational, and spiritual dimensions of knowledge, offering Muslims a more holistic approach to navigating today's intellectual landscape while maintaining theological integrity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practice of compensation in construction contracts between the government and service providers by reviewing their conformity to the principles of equality and freedom of contract. The practice of compensating in government construction projects is often colored by an imbalance of power between the parties, mainly due to the administrative dominance of the government. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method on the Settlement Infrastructure Supporting Special Housing for Ex-East Timorese Residents project in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews, study of contract documents, and field observations. The results of the study show that the practice of compensation does not fully reflect the principle of equality due to the weak bargaining position of service providers in the negotiation process. In addition, the principle of freedom of contract is restricted in government contracts due to strict regulations and administrative procedures. This study recommends the need to reformulate compensation clauses that are fairer and more flexible, strengthen dispute resolution mechanisms, and increase transparency and accountability in the implementation of government construction contracts.

This study uses survey and recapitulation methods of data collection obtained from secondary data from several agencies related to Floods and Watershed Flows in the Bendung River area, Kemuning District in Palembang City.  Land use maps and river network systems based on the results of the analysis still have swamps or open spaces so that they can be used for infiltration. The magnitude of the potential flood inundation can be seen from the map based on a field inventory with 14 inundation location points. Based on the calculation of the rainy season with a 2-year period, the condition of the river catchment area is still in a safe condition. will remain in the period 5,10,25,50,100 in the category of flood hazard. The land area based on the analysis affected by the flood is 845 ha or 8.45 km or 23% of the area of Kemuning sub-district of 36.97 km. Factors that affect the height of inundation or flooding in the upstream, middle and downstream, both land geography, land structure, and drainage system, are changes in land use from swamps to moderate housing.

Abstract

SHPTU, credit collateral, default, fiduciary, cessie, legal certainty This study examines the legal certainty surrounding the use of the Business Use Rights Certificate (SHPTU) as credit collateral in cases of default. Although the Regional Regulation of DKI Jakarta Province Number 7 of 2018 states that SHPTU can be used as collateral, it does not explicitly define whether SHPTU constitutes a property right or a personal right. Using a normative-empirical legal research method, this study is based on primary data from interviews and secondary data from legislation and legal literature. The findings indicate that SHPTU closely resembles a leasehold right rather than ownership, and therefore, cannot be used as a collateral object under material security mechanisms such as fiduciary or mortgage. In the event of default, SHPTU cannot be executed directly. The resolution must involve mediation and assignment of receivables (cessie) through a power of attorney agreement. This study recommends the need for clearer regulation to ensure legal certainty and protection for creditors.

Abstract

A bank is an institution that collects funds from the community in the form of deposits and distributes them to the community through credit or other forms, with the aim of improving people's living standards. As a company engaged in services, the bank offers services to the community. This study aims to explore the influence of customer trust, technological innovation, and ease of transaction on the satisfaction of BRImo application users at Bank BRI Magetan, by using Net Promoter Score (NPS) as an evaluation tool. Although Bank Magetan has an NPS score of 62.5 which indicates a good level of satisfaction, there are indications that there are gaps in customer experience that need to be improved. The digital transformation carried out by Bank BRI through the BRImo application has great potential to increase customer loyalty. This study uses an explanatory research method with a quantitative design, involving 96 customers of Bank BRI Magetan as a sample. The results of the analysis show that customer trust, technological innovation, and ease of transaction have a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. The significance value for customer trust is 0.001, for technological innovation 0.006, and for ease of transaction 0.008. All of these significance values are less than 0.05, indicating that these three factors have a significant contribution to customer satisfaction of the BRImo application at Bank BRI Magetan.

Abstract

Abstract

This study investigates the communication strategy employed by the Public Relations Division (Humas) of the Indonesian National Police in handling viral crises on social media, focusing specifically on the Vina Cirebon case. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach, this research was conducted through in-depth interviews, document analysis, and media observation involving key stakeholders, including police officers, journalists, and digital communication analysts. The findings reveal that Humas Polri exhibited weak crisis preparedness, evident from the lack of early detection systems, risk profiling, and crisis-sensing capabilities. During the crisis period, the institutional response was characterized by delays, inconsistencies in official statements, and limited coordination between headquarters and regional police units. The study also found underutilization of social media platforms, which led to unaddressed public speculation and the dominance of alternative narratives. Moreover, the communication strategy applied did not fully align with the Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT), as Polri tended to employ defensive rather than accommodative or restorative approaches. This condition ultimately led to a decline in public trust and institutional legitimacy. The study contributes to the field of police science and public relations by highlighting the urgency of integrated crisis communication strategies, particularly in managing public perception in the digital age.
