Abstract

This study aims to investigate the capability improvement model of the recipient community of revolving fund assistance for the Slum City program, Bareallo Community Empowerment Agency, Rantepaku Village, North Toraja to reduce bad debts in the area. This study uses a qualitative case study research type where the case analyzed is bad debts that occur in the Bareallo Community Empowerment Agency, Rantepaku Village, North Toraja. The results of the study show that the distribution of revolving funds in Rantepaku goes through three main stages, namely membership in the Community Empowerment Group, having a business, and meeting administrative requirements. Payment constraints are triggered by a lack of financial transparency, indiscipline, and inappropriate use of funds. The strategy for handling bad debts is carried out through periodic collections and increasing awareness of payment responsibilities. The community feels the benefits of revolving funds, with easy access to education, health, and infrastructure, as well as guarantees of basic needs such as food, housing, and poverty control through four main programs.

Abstract

This study analyses the Marketing Mix Strategy to Support the HSL Store Kendari Business Development. The method used in this study is qualitative research with a case study method. In this study, the analysis method applied is SWOT. SWOT is a tool used to formulate company strategy factors. The study results show that HSL Store Kendari applies a marketing mix with a focus on quality products, competitive prices, digital promotions through Instagram, and a strategic location near campus even though access is less than optimal. Skilled employees, standardized production processes, and a comfortable store environment are the main priorities in maintaining customer satisfaction. Based on the SWOT analysis which shows a position in quadrant I, HSL Store utilizes internal strengths to capture external opportunities with strategies such as collaborating with campuses and schools, increasing digital marketing to expand market reach, and ensuring the availability of quality raw materials. This strategy is expected to increase revenue and customer loyalty, especially during the graduation season.

Abstract

Evaluation of complaint handling is very important to improve the quality of service to patients in hospital institutions. This study aims to analyze the implementation of complaint handling and communication barriers in complaint handling at Ropanasuri Surgical Specialty Hospital, Padang, West Sumatra. Qualitative methods through semi-structured interviews were used to explore information related to handling patient complaints. Data analysis was carried out using triangulation techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results revealed that complaint handling at Ropanasuri Surgical Specialty Hospital has not been running optimally because there are still similar and repeated complaints by patients, both related to inadequate infrastructure, doctors who do come not according to schedule, and officers who are less capable of serving patients. The absence of a standard operating procedure for communication-related to handling patient complaints is believed to be the cause of the communication process not being maximized. Communication barriers that often occur are miscommunication between hospital staff and patients regarding referral period information, the wrong poly, and BPJS patients from outside the area who do not follow the correct procedures. This study emphasizes the importance of the existence of standard operating procedures as a guide for handling patient complaints and effective communication training specifically for employees at Ropanasuri Surgical Specialty Hospital.

Abstract

The study aims to examine the effect of pull and push motivation on revisit intention mediated by satisfaction for Sikabau beach tourists in Pasaman Barat Regency. Respondents were selected using a purposive random sampling technique with a total of 200 samples consisting of individuals who had visited Sikabau Beach at least once. The data is obtained by distributing online questionnaires to respondents and analyzed using SmartPLS. The data analysis method uses structural equation modelling with partial least squares (SEM-PLS). The result showed that push motivation has a significant effect on revisit intention, while pull motivation shows an insignificant effect on revisit intention. Pull motivation, push motivation and satisfaction have significant effects on revisit intention. Satisfaction is able to partially mediate the relationship between pull motivation and revisit intention, while push motivation and revisit intention are fully mediated by satisfaction.

Abstract

While the inundation has affected the daily lives of the residents, showing that there's always room for improvement, it has also highlighted the importance of proactive risk management in dealing with natural disasters. This provides an ideal opportunity to enhance risk management and ensure that similar issues don't arise in the future. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the inundation management strategies implemented by the government and the local community. To achieve this, we are conducting a descriptive study. The collaborative efforts of various public organizations, including the Regency BPBD, Provincial BPBD, Public Works Office of Bina Marga and Water Resources of Sidoarjo Regency, village officials, sub-districts, and Koramil, are a testament to the commitment to tackle this challenge. The community's active involvement is crucial for the success of these efforts. The Bringin Kulon area's comprehensive approach to inundation management includes normalizing water pumps, cleaning water hyacinth and sediment, and installing floodgates. The risk management strategy, though time-consuming, is proving to be highly effective. The community's involvement, though limited, is crucial for the success of these efforts.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the impact of implementing agricultural activities on social change in Paroto Village. Agricultural activities are the main sector that sustains people's lives in this village, and their implementation affects not only economic but also social aspects. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results showed that changes in agricultural activities, especially with the presence of modernisation and improved access to farm road infrastructure, have affected work patterns, social relations, and the community's economic structure. Agricultural modernisation, such as the use of mechanical tools and crop diversification, has encouraged changes in family roles as well as increased participation of women and youth in the agricultural sector. In addition, openness to new technologies has also strengthened social interactions between farmers, the government, and local institutions. In conclusion, implementing agricultural activities in Paroto Village has played a significant role in driving more dynamic and inclusive social change.

Abstract

Policy transfer is the process of understanding policies, administration, institutions and ideas from other countries to be used in a policy. This study focuses on policy transfer in the JKP program, which is part of the National Social Security, in terms of form, approach and learning process. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative which aims to provide an overview of the current conditions of JKP policy transfer. The study results show that the policy transfer in the JKP program can be implemented optimally even though the level of participation is still not proportional to the number of workers who are victims of layoffs. Productive-age beneficiaries also need to be given more attention so that they can contribute again to the world of work. Therefore, the government needs to develop JKP by conducting regular monitoring and evaluation so that it can reach a wider range of participants, see the level of re-employment and develop programs to target PKWT. This step is expected to provide more equitable and effective benefits for all workers who need the JKP program.

Abstract

Sidoarjo, as a city located in the delta area of two major rivers, faces flooding challenges every year. River revitalisation was carried out by the Sidoarjo local government as an effort to overcome flooding problems in the region. To maintain the function of the revitalised river, the Sidoarjo Revitalisation of River Function (Sidoresik) program was presented by involving community participation to maintain river cleanliness and ecological functions.  This study aims to analyse policy capacity and community participation in supporting the success of the Sidoresik program. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection technique used the literature study method. The results show that the river revitalisation program through Sidoresik is not only beneficial in maintaining river cleanliness and overcoming floods, but also in creating new public spaces that can be used for tourism, sports, environmental education, MSME development, and opening new economic opportunities for residents. The research also confirms the role of policy capacity and community participation in the Sidoresik program in presenting policies that can provide benefits to the community.

Abstract

This inequality is evidenced by the long-standing male dominance in the industry, where male musicians are consistently favoured over their female counterparts. Consequently, the percentage of female musicians remains substantially lower than that of male musicians. Addressing this issue, Spotify, one of the largest companies in the global music industry, has initiated support for female musicians worldwide through its campaign titled Spotify EQUAL. Through this initiative, Spotify has committed to addressing gender inequality issues in the global music industry. This research focuses on analyzing the efforts undertaken by Spotify through its gender equality campaign, Spotify EQUAL. The study employs feminist theory as a social movement framework underlying gender equality campaigns. Additionally, the authors utilize the concept of digital activism, which encompasses four strategies, to analyze the campaign efforts conducted by Spotify and its Ambassador in the Spotify EQUAL program. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, explaining the analytical result of the efforts implemented in the Spotify EQUAL gender equality campaign.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze conflicts related to the neutrality of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the context of elections and post-conflict regional elections in Indonesia, with a focus on sources of conflict, dynamics and management strategies for preventing and handling conflicts. The methods used include literature studies, citing media interviews, and ASN observations in several regions involved in the election process. The research results show that conflicts related to ASN neutrality originate from structural inequality in the bureaucracy, differences in values between professionalism and political patronage, as well as conflicts of interest between demands for neutrality and political pressure. In conclusion, preventing and handling conflicts related to ASN neutrality requires a comprehensive approach involving structural reform of the bureaucracy, transformation of organizational culture, and active participation of civil society. Implementing appropriate conflict management strategies will not only strengthen the integrity of ASN, but also support a more transparent and accountable democratic process in Indonesia.
