Abstract

Career planning is a process by which individuals can identify and take steps to achieve career goals. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of information services using Audio Visual Media to improve career planning in class XI students at SMK Kesehatan Borneo Bhakti Husada Palangka Raya. The research used was a true experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study amounted to 37 (thirty seven) students with a sample of 12 (twelve) students determined by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used paired T-test. From the results of the research that has been done, the pretest score is 56.5 and the posttest score is 81.5 with an increase in score of 25. This proves that there is an increase between pretest and posttest scores. From the results of the research that has been carried out the results of hypothesis testing using the paired t-test formula to prove the hypothesis at an error level of 0.05 if t count> ttable on db n-1 it is known that tcount = -68.465 and ttable = -2.571. This means that t count > t table, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. These results indicate that information services with the use of audio visual media are effective for improving career planning for XI grade students of SMK Kesehatan Borneo Bhakti Husada Palangka Raya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group guidance self-management techniques in improving study habits on learning achievement. This type of research is experimental research. The data collection technique used a study habits questionnaire with a Likert scale and Legger documents from the value of learning achievement results carried out in 2 (two) meetings. The data analysis technique used paired T-test. The number of research samples is 10 (ten) students. The sampling technique in this study was done by purposive sampling. And the calculation of the results using the pre-test and post-test one group design. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the results obtained from the use of group guidance through group guidance services with self-management techniques before being given treatment, the results of the pretest average score of 50 after being given treatment changed to 68.5 with an increase of 18.5. As for the value of learning achievement results before being given treatment, the average value of the legger pretest was 70.1 after being given treatment, it changed to 76.46 with an increase of 6.36. This proves that there is an increase between the pretest and posttest. From the results of the research that has been done and the results of hypothesis testing, the error rate is 5% if t count < t table db n-1, it is known that tcount of study habits is -9.6214 and ttable is 2.262. This means that tcount > ttable, Ho is rejected and Ha¬ is accepted, so it can be concluded that group guidance using self-management techniques is effective in improving study habits on student achievement in class IX-B MTs Muslimat NU Palangka Raya.

Abstract

Self-efficacy of students is still one of the problems of students where students who have a very detrimental impact on students, students who have low self-efficacy will indirectly be hampered by the learning process because they will have difficulty in dealing with their daily problems both in learning and problems that arise. he faced. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group counseling services with positive self-talk to increase students' self-efficacy. The method in this study uses a literature review as a qualitative research. The results prove that the effectiveness of positive self-talk can increase students' self-efficacy. Positive self-talk is proven to be effective in raising students' self-confidence and will indirectly increase student self-efficacy, and students are able to carry out all the tasks, obligations, and problems they face in the school environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase student activity by implementing a project based learning (PjBL) model at SMA Bina Insani Bogor. This research is an action research of Guidance Counseling (PTBK) class which is conducted in one cycle consisting of one meeting. The research sample was students of class X Mipa 1 odd semester in the 2021-2022 academic year at SMA Bina Insani Bogor with a total of 21 students. The results of this study indicate that student learning activity has increased in learning in cycle I. The increase in student activity occurs because in learning by applying the Project Based Learning model students are active by discussing each group that has been divided to observe problems in adolescent development that occur in the surrounding environment. students, compose and complete project assignments with their groups, present the results of the discussions and write the results of group discussions in the Dream Book. This shows that the Project Based Learning learning model can increase student activity in observing adolescent problems.

Abstract

This research is a Guidance and Counseling Action Research which aims to improve the effective and efficient way of learning for students by applying the Problem Based Learning Model. This research was conducted in a participatory manner for one cycle. Data collection using observation sheets, and field notes. The data analysis used is qualitative analysis. This study shows that students experience an increase in learning effectively and efficiently in cycle I. The increase in student learning occurs because in learning by applying the Problem Based Learning model students are active by discussing each group that has been divided to observe problems in adolescent development that occur in environment around students, students are trained to analyze and solve problems from the results of the videos that have been played. Then present the results of the discussion in front of the class. This shows that the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve students' effective and efficient learning methods

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether behavioristic techniques can increase student learning independence through group counseling in class VIII of SMP Isen Mulang Palangka Raya. This type of research is a quantitative study with a pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest type. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics from the paired sample T-test (SPSS version 25 program). The population in this study were 11 students in class VIII with a total sample of 4 students. The results of the calculation of the average score of learning independence before participating in group counseling services with behavioristic techniques an average of 65 then after being given group counseling with behavioristic techniques increased to 86.75 with an average increase of 21.75. Then from the calculation results of the pretest and posttest values using the Paired Samples T-test is 0.003 < from 0.05, then the null hypothesis is rejected. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect from the application of group counseling with a behavioristic approach to overcome the low learning independence of students at SMP Isen Mulang Palangka Raya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the understanding and activities of class VIII SMP Kesatuan Bogor in participating in classical guidance services during the Bombingan Counseling lesson with the PBL learning model. This research is a classroom action research conducted in 1 cycle consisting of 1 meeting. This research was conducted in the 8th grade of SMP Unit Bogor. The data collection technique used observation, interview and questionnaire techniques, while the data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis. Observation techniques were used to determine student activities in participating in learning and questionnaires were used to describe students' understanding of learning during learning with the PBL model. The results of this study indicate an increase in students' understanding of learning and learning activities from the initial conditions. This increase shows the success of implementing the PBL learning model, thus it can be concluded that increasing students' understanding of learning time management during the pandemic through the PBL learning model has been successfully carried out.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect brand minded lifestyle on consumptive behavior in students. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is an effect of brand minded lifestyle on consumptive behavior in students. The subjects in this study were students of the Muhammadiyah University of Banjarmasin with an age range of 18-25 years, using and buying branded goods. The scale used to collect research data is a brand-minded lifestyle scale and a consumptive behavior scale. The data analysis method used in this study is a simple linear regression test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect (Sig. 0.000 <0.05). These results indicate that there is an influence of the Minded brand lifestyle on the consumptive behavior of college students

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between game addiction and verbal aggressive behavior in online game users. The hypothesis of this research is that there is a relationship between game addiction and verbal aggressive behavior in online game users. The method used is a quantitative approach with a correlational design and the subject-taking technique in this study uses a purposive sampling technique, with the criteria of individuals being in the stage of adolescence to early adulthood (12 years to 40 years) playing online games; has a minimum playing time span of more than 3-5 hours day, the type of game is MMORPG, MOBA, FPS, Battle Royale as many as 174 people. The scale used for data collection is a game addiction scale with an item power range of 0.280-0.611 and has a reliability value of Cronbach's alpha of 0.929 and a verbal aggressive scale with an item power range of 0.300-0.674 and has a reliability value of Cronbach's alpha of 0.945. Analysis of the data used is Pearson's product moment correlation with the help of SPSS 23.0 (Statistical Packages for the Social Sciences) software. The results of statistical calculations show the correlation value (r = 0.639; p < 0.05). These results indicate that there is a positive relationship between game addiction and verbal aggressive behavior in online game users.

Abstract

A person with mental disability is someone who has a brain disorder characterized by disturbed emotions, thought processes, behaviors and perceptions (sensory capture) which can cause stress and suffering for the person concerned. Therefore, people with mental disabilities need social rehabilitation services to restore their social functions through orphanages. Panti Sosial Bina Laras (PSBL) Pambelum Palangka Raya has the task of organizing some operational technical activities in providing curative, rehabilitative, promotive social service and rehabilitation guidance in the form of basic knowledge guidance on physical, mental, social, and skills training. need social workers. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the services, programs and social rehabilitation activities carried out at PSBL Pambelum. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection by interview and observation. It is hoped that after knowing the description of services in PSBL, the community will know the importance of social rehabilitation for people with mental disabilities, so that after completing social rehabilitation they can be accepted back into their families and communities.
