Abstract

This study aimed to test and analyze the effect of leadership, employee commitment, and work motivation on employee performance. The researcher employed a correlational research design, which is suitable for examining the relationships between variables. The data collected from the questionnaires was analyzed using regression model fit and ANOVA. Regression model fit helps to determine how well the model predicts the outcome variable. At the same time, ANOVA assesses the significance of the relationships between employee performance, employee commitment, work motivation, and job satisfaction. The findings indicate that the model accurately predicted job satisfaction 64% of the time, which is demonstrated by the significant F value (F = 113.007; P = 0.01). Furthermore, the ANOVA findings show that employee performance (F (6, 188) = 28.053, p. 001), employee commitment (F (6, 188) = 39.889, p. 001), and work motivation (F (6, 188) = 33.471, p. 001) have a noteworthy impact on employees' Performance. Therefore, it is recommended that organizations prioritize and enhance work motivation, employee commitment, and work climate to improve job satisfaction and employee performance. Based on the findings, organizations need to focus on improving work motivation, employee commitment, and work climate to enhance job satisfaction and employee performance. Leadership styles that have a minimal impact on employee performance should be improved and given priority in these efforts.

Abstract

Examine the objective of evaluating the influence of servant leadership on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with a focus on worker empowerment and superior-subordinate interactions as potential mediators. This study, conducted at PT XYZ, employed analytical techniques such as the absolute difference method, t-test for independent samples, and Baron & Kenny's causal step method to assess the hypotheses. The population and sample comprised 113 outsourced employees at PT XYZ 1, utilizing a fed-up sampling technique. The findings of the research indicate that servant leadership does not exert a significant impact on OCB when gender serves as a moderator. In this research model, gender does not function as a moderating variable. Both male and female outsourced employees share a positive perception of servant leadership within the company, resulting in similar OCB behaviors between the two groups. The presence of the servant leadership variable alone is adequate as an antecedent for fostering positive OCB in employees, irrespective of their gender characteristics. Furthermore, servant leadership significantly influences OCB through the mediation of worker empowerment and superior-subordinate interactions. Leaders who embody characteristics such as love, empowerment, vision, and humility effectively empower workers and foster positive interactions between superiors and subordinates, thereby contributing to OCB behaviors beneficial for the organization.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine and analyze the effect of the Implementation of the Supervisory System, the Components of the Supervision System and the Function of the Supervision System on Digital-Based Supervision in the North Toraja Regency Inspectorate. This type of research is quantitative research because it emphasizes more on the aspect of objectively measuring social phenomena. The object of this research is the North Toraja Inspectorate Office of South Sulawesi Province. The population in this study is all employees of the North Toraja Inspectorate Office of South Sulawesi Province. Based on data obtained from the Personnel Section, the total number of North Toraja Inspectorate Offices is 46 employees. The sampling technique in this study uses the saturated sampling technique, where all members of the population are used as research samples, because the population is relatively small only 46 people, so the total sample in this study is 46 people who are used as respondents. The analysis method uses descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) The implementation of the supervision system has a positive and significant effect on digital-based supervision, the better the implementation of the supervision system, the better the digital-based supervision; 2) The components of the supervision system also have a positive and significant effect on digital-based supervision, the better the components of the supervision system, the better the digital-based supervision;

Abstract

The location of the office of PT PLN (Persero) UPP Kitring Nusra 2 is in Ende Regency approximately 200 kilometers from the project locations currently managed. This makes the process of supervision and coordination with relevant stakeholders difficult. Throughout 2022 until now, work supervision, certification, land, ROW, and licensing activities have dominated the West Flores area. Therefore, for effective and efficient implementation of the main duties and functions, consideration of moving the office location to Labuan Bajo City needs to be done. This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of moving the office. The analysis method was carried out using factor rating and SWOT methods. The results of the comparison of 2 locations using the factor rating method show that the potential office location is in Labuan Bajo with a value of 95.81 and the existing location of Ende City is worth 84.19. Meanwhile, based on SWOT analysis, it was obtained that the location of the office in Labuan Bajo was in quadrant 1, so it can be concluded that the transfer is said to be feasible.

Abstract

High-speed railway technology development necessitates the development of a communication system that supports various components of train operation facilities, such as train control, safety communication, and others. The construction of fhigh-speed railway in Indonesia in the Jakarta-Bandung area uses the Chinese Train Control System (CTCS) Level 3 signaling system, which makes the Global System for Mobile Communication-Railway (GSM-R) a wireless signaling network system. Because there are already existing GSM-based public telecommunications services, known as public GSM, on the same frequency used by a number of cellular operators in Indonesia, the use of GSM-R poses implementation challenges. This will result in reduced service quality and revenue for protected cellular network operators due to the use of these frequency bands to support the operation of high-speed railway services in Indonesia. In this study, an evaluation was carried out to look for other potentials from using the GSM 900 MHz frequency band, which can be used as an option to be implemented on high-speed trains in Indonesia. The research begins with calculating the estimated potential loss of revenue from using telecommunications network operators. This data will be analyzed in terms of the economic feasibility of several other frequency band choices for implementing the GSM 900 MHz frequency band on high-speed trains in Indonesia, so that it is hoped that this will become a new consideration that can become a solution and recommendation in the application and use of GSM-R technology in Indonesia.

Abstract

This article utilizes the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to decide how to choose an effective weapon system for the A2/AD (anti-access/area denial) strategy at the Sunda Strait, Indonesia's strategic choke point. The main discussion is limited to selecting the types of weapon systems considered effective in implementing A2/AD at Indonesia's strategic choke points. The next step is to decide which primary, secondary, and alternative criteria are the most important. Each of these will then be put together mathematically by measuring consistency using the Consistency Index (CI), the Consistency Ratio (CR), and the Consistency Hierarchy, which is the ranking as the result of the analysis. This method resulting in a weight for the navigation criteria of 66%, projection of 19%, and operability of 16%. Furthermore, in conclusion, the order of the best weapon systems is RBS15 MK4 with a weight of 66%, Brahmos II at 18%, and Neptune 360ST at 16%.
