Abstract

The concepts of differential and integral are important topics in chemistry mathematics courses. Based on the number of subtopics, differential and integral concepts are covered on average more than 40% in chemistry mathematics books. Several previous studies reported findings that differential and integral concepts are still difficult for students to understand. This research aims to evaluate the previous lecture program and propose an alternative learning design to help students more easily understand those concepts. In this study, we developed a practicum by adopting Plomp’s model, which were collecting, designing, trying, and revising the product. The practicum design was developed for heating process of glucose solution. Those chemicals were chosen because the materials obtained are relatively easy, cheap, and safe, so it is very possible to practice it in the laboratory. We used Maple to model the heating process phenomenon. The results show that the differential and integral concepts can be applied to model the heating process of glucose solution by using Maple. This research is limited to simulations. Therefore, the suggestion for further research is to conduct field trials to determine the impact of implementing learning design in increasing students' understanding of differential and integral concepts.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Think Pair Share (TPS) and Problem Based Learning (PBL) models in improving students’ critical thinking and mathematical problem-solving abilities in Grade XI at SMAN 2 Sijunjung. The research was motivated by the gap between students’ learning interest and higher-order cognitive performance in probability material. A quantitative quasi-experimental design with a 2×2 factorial structure was employed, involving two equivalent classes (XI F-4 = TPS; XI F-5 = PBL; total n = 64). Data were collected through four-item essay tests based on Facione’s indicators of critical thinking and Polya’s steps of problem solving. Instrument validity, reliability, difficulty, and discrimination indices were verified before administration. The findings revealed that TPS outperformed PBL in both critical thinking (mean = 85.06 vs 80.00; F = 18.240; p < 0.05) and problem-solving skills (mean = 82.46 vs 77.63; F = 15.689; p < 0.05). Within-model comparisons also showed higher critical-thinking scores than problem-solving ones in both groups. These results confirm that TPS effectively fosters reasoning, argumentation, and structured analytical processes within limited instructional time, while PBL is better suited for long-term contextual application. The study concludes that structured social interaction significantly contributes to the development of higher-order thinking skills, and future research should explore retention effects and the sequential integration of TPS → PBL models.

Abstract

Media digital memainkan peran penting dalam berbagai sektor kehidupan di abad ke-21, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran media digital dalam komunikasi lintas budaya untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, penelitian ini menggali perspektif guru dan siswa mengenai pemanfaatan media digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media digital berfungsi sebagai jembatan yang menghubungkan keragaman budaya di Indonesia, meskipun juga berpotensi menjadi penghalang jika tidak digunakan secara bijak. Peran media digital dalam konteks pendidikan antara lain: (1) memfasilitasi interaksi langsung tanpa batas ruang dan waktu antar siswa dari berbagai latar belakang budaya; (2) menjadi sarana efektif untuk menyebarkan, memperkenalkan, dan melestarikan keberagaman budaya melalui berbagai platform digital; (3) memungkinkan siswa memahami norma dan nilai-nilai budaya asing; serta (4) meningkatkan toleransi dan mengurangi etnosentrisme dengan membuka akses terhadap berbagai perspektif budaya. Simpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa media digital memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan melalui perluasan akses pembelajaran, pengayaan sumber belajar, dan pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan inklusif. Implikasinya, pendidik dan siswa perlu menguasai pemanfaatan media digital secara optimal, dengan tetap memperhatikan pendampingan dan pengawasan untuk menghindari penyalahgunaan.

Abstract

Ancaman praktik destructive fishing seperti pengeboman dan penggunaan racun di wilayah perairan Indonesia telah menimbulkan kerusakan ekosistem laut yang serius, menurunkan stok ikan, serta mengganggu stabilitas ekonomi dan ketahanan pangan nasional. Sebagai respons, sinergi antara Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) dan Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Polri) menjadi elemen kunci dalam penegakan hukum dan pengawasan maritim. Penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas kerja sama antara Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) dan Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia (Polri) dalam menanggulangi praktik destructive fishing sebagai bagian dari strategi nasional menuju pembangunan Ekonomi Biru. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus, yang dilaksanakan di wilayah kerja Pangkalan Utama TNI Angkatan Laut (Lantamal) V Surabaya dan Direktorat Polisi Perairan dan Udara (Ditpolairud) Polda Jawa Timur. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap enam informan kunci lintas institusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerja sama TNI–Polri diwujudkan dalam empat bentuk utama, yaitu patroli laut gabungan, pertukaran data intelijen, forum koordinasi lintas sektor, dan penyuluhan masyarakat pesisir. Sinergi ini terbukti menurunkan pelanggaran hukum di laut dan meningkatkan kesadaran hukum nelayan. Namun demikian, efektivitasnya masih terkendala oleh tumpang tindih kewenangan, perbedaan rantai komando, keterbatasan sumber daya, serta tekanan ekonomi masyarakat pesisir. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pembentukan Joint Maritime Command yang mengintegrasikan TNI–Polri dengan instansi maritim lainnya, modernisasi sistem pengawasan laut berbasis teknologi, serta pemberdayaan masyarakat pesisir sebagai mitra strategis pertahanan nirmiliter untuk mendukung ketahanan maritim dan pembangunan nasional berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The phenomenon of underpricing of shares in the Initial Public Offering (IPO) has become a critical issue in the Indonesian capital market, where the stock price on the first day of trading often far exceeds the initial offering price. This condition causes potential losses for issuers and indicates market inefficiency. The main objective of this study is to examine the effect of Corporate Governance, Board Diversity, and Underpricing on Initial Public Offering (IPO) companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2010–2024. A panel data regression model is used to determine the effect of these variables. The sample consists of companies conducting IPOs on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2010–2024 period. The independent variables considered include Board Diversity (specifically Female Board Members (FB) and Board Member Age (AA)), Board Size (BS), Board Committee (BC), Board Independence (BI), Related Board Members (RBM), Board Member Position (BP), and Top Ten Shareholders (Top 10). Underpricing (UP) serves as the dependent variable. The analysis results indicate that female board members have a negative effect on underpricing, and Top Ten Shareholding also has a negative effect on underpricing.

Abstract

Harmful events in the handling of patients in hospitals can be prevented by the principle of patient safety. Nurses as part of the health workforce have an important role in the implementation of patient safety, as well as nurses who become clinical educators who assist nursing students in carrying out studies in teaching hospitals. The success of achieving goals, the high quality of patient safety, is half determined by the plan that has been set and the other half functions by supervision or monitoring. This study aims to analyze the picture of monitoring patient safety in nurses. This research method uses a quantitative research with analytic observational methods and cross sectional approaches. In this study, it was found that the monitoring of patient safety by nurses to nursing students was well implemented and obtained a high implementation score. There are no differences in monitoring patient safety carried out by nurses between age groups, gender, last education, or length of work.

Abstract

Kue tradisional khas dengan bahannya yang bersifat alami yang membuat kudapan yang ada memiliki ketahanan waktu yang singkat. Salah satu kue tradisional yang terdiri dari bahan alami ialah kue Putu Bambu yang berasal dari tepung beras. Namun, tepung beras dikenal dengan nilai proteinnya yang rendah yang hanya berada dinilai 7 gram saja per 100 gramnya. Kacang tolo (Vigna unguiculata L. Walp) merupakan salah satu bahan pangan lokal dengan kandungan protein tinggi dan kadar lemaknya yang rendah, serta dapat diolah menjadi tepung bebas gluten seperti tepung beras. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengkaji pengaruh dari subtitusi tepung kacang tolo terhadap uji organoleptik dan kandungan nutrisi makronutrien pada kue Putu Bambu. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen, terdapat 3 sampel uji yang terdiri dari subtitusi tepung kacang tolo sebanyak 0%, 15% dan 40%. Terdapat 30 panelis yang dilibatkan untuk menilai dari sisi uji organoleptik, dan berdasarkan data DKBM kandungan gizi pada kue Putu Bambu subtitusi tepung kacang tolo akan dihitung. Dan hasil yang didapatkan dari uji mutu hedonik menggunakan One-Way ANOVA menunjukkan nilai Sig. 0,00 dari keempat atribut. Sementara itu dari uji hedonik, menunjukkan bahwa sampel 599 masih tetap paling disukai dengan nilai persentase 70% hingga 80%. Namun, sampel 221 dapat dinilai cocok untuk kudapan manis karena masih cukup disukai dan diterima oleh konsumen serta nilai gizi terutama total nilai proteinnya yang berada pada nilai 351,74 gram sementara sampel 599 senilai 290,84 gram.

Abstract

Music education supports creative expression, emotional development, and cognitive growth. During the last several years, digital game-based learning (DGBL) has been used to maintain student engagement, but its presence in music education varies considerably. Some teachers experiment with small-scale game tools, while others adapt existing commercial games for classroom use. This study maps how digital games were used in music education from 2020 to 2025, a period shaped by the shift to remote and hybrid learning after COVID-19, when many educators had to reconsider how students could practice musical skills without face-to-face instruction. A scoping review was conducted using Publish or Perish to identify studies indexed in Scopus and Google Scholar. The review followed the PRISMA 2020 framework and included peer-reviewed publications as well as relevant grey literature (e.g., theses, classroom-developed projects), acknowledging that many pedagogical innovations in music education are not always disseminated through formal journals. The initial search resulted in 124 records; after screening for eligibility and methodological clarity, 26 studies were included in the synthesis. Most studies emphasized ear-training and quiz-based game formats, while rhythm-based, exploratory, and curriculum-integrated designs appeared less frequently. Research contexts were dominated by beginner learners, elementary education, and university courses, with only a small number of studies focusing on senior high school contexts. These findings highlight gaps in current research and indicate the need for future game designs that support sustained perceptual training and integrate culturally grounded approaches to music learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perspektif kewenangan Distrik,   mendeskripsikan  aktualita penyelenggaraan pemerintahan  dan   merekomendasikan kebijakan yang relevan untuk memperkuat tata kelola pemerintahan yang bermartabat di tingkat Distrik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis normatif-empiris.  Hasil penelitian adalah Distrik di Kota Sorong memiliki landasan regulasi Undang-undang, Peraturan Pemerintah dan Peraturan Daerah,  namun pelimpahan kewenangan dari Wali Kota ke Kepala Distrik dalam bentuk Peraturan Walikota  belum diterbitkan. Akibatnya, tugas dan  fungsi yang lebih efisien dan efektif dijalankan di distrik masih terpusat di Dinas/Badan di pemerintah  kota. Distrik  lebih  dominan  berfungsi sebagai unit koordinatif,  administratif  dan fasilitatif terbatas. Distrik di Kota Sorong memiliki peran administratif, politis, dan sosial. Namun, keterbatasan kewenangan dan kapasitas aparatur masih menghambat optimalisasi peran multidimensi ini. Rekomendasi kebijakan, mengacu pada prinsip desentralisasi fungsional, governance partisipatif, serta adaptasi terhadap konteks lokal Papua Barat Daya, yakni : Penerbitan Peraturan Wali Kota; Penguatan Kapasitas Aparatur Distrik;Penerapan Mekanisme Layanan Publik Partisipatif; Peningkatan Infrastruktur dan Teknologi  terutama yang berada di daerah pinggiran dan wilayah Sorong Kepulauan;  Penguatan Koordinasi Antar-Level Pemerintahan,  untuk menghindari duplikasi layanan dan memastikan prioritas pembangunan distrik selaras dengan kebijakan kota Sorong  dan Provinsi Papua Barat Daya.

Abstract

Nasi Bekepor is one of the culinary heritage of the Kutai ethnic in East Kalimantan, which has historically been an exclusive dish of the Kutai Kingdom. Although it has high cultural value, academic studies that specifically discuss Nasi Bekepor are still very limited. Therefore, this study aims to examine the history, cooking techniques, cultural values, and potential development of bekepor rice as a gastronomic product that can support cultural tourism. This study uses a narrative literature review approach. Data collection is sourced from academic databases such as Scopus and Google Scholar (2010-2025 edition), and enriched with informal interviews to provide local context. The results of the study show that Nasi Bekepor was born from the cultural matrix of the Kutai Kartanegara Sultanate. Originally serving as an exclusive social status marker for the nobility, this dish experienced cultural diffusion to belong to the wider community. Philosophically, the name 'bekepor' (turned) represents a core cooking technique that demands patience. This technique is unique, consisting of three crucial stages: mengaron (cooking half-cooked with spices and vegetable oil instead of coconut milk), mengepor (cooking in a tight way by rotating on coals for 45-60 minutes), and aromatic crust formation. Bekepor rice has a symbolic meaning to the Beseprah Tradition at the Erau Festival, serving as a symbol of the elimination of social barriers and harmony. This study identifies the great potential of Nasi Bekepor in strengthening cultural identity, developing the creative economy for MSMEs, and as the main asset of tourism.
