Abstract

The decision to set tariffs is an important choice that helps the company's operations run well. This study aims to determine the ideal tariff for shipping goods based on the calculation of vehicle operating costs and to determine when the break-even point occurs based on the ideal tariff. Companies engaged in goods delivery services compete to provide excellent service and competitive prices. PT Dapensi Dwikarya is one of the vehicle rental service companies for the transportation of goods and people. Delivery of goods on the Cirebon-Indramayu route is the route with the most transportation in the Bandung area operations. The results of the study in the minimum charge condition with a 10% fee obtained a tariff of Rp.143/Kg for a minimum load capacity of 2,000 Kg. The net profit that will be obtained is Rp. 95,537 / unit / rite. The accuracy of the selling price or service provided is influenced by the accuracy of tariff determination.

Abstract

One of the areas that is a landslide hotspot in Indonesia is Samigaluh District, Kulonprogo Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. This research aims to conduct studies or research from previous researchers regarding the potential for landslides and map the distribution of areas prone to landslides and the parameters that influence the potential for landslides using a comparison between the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and the Weighted Linear Combination (WLC) method with using the same parameters, which are considered to influence the level of vulnerability to landslides. In this research, there are several stages or methods that are followed, including the preparation stage, data collection stage, data analysis stage, final stage & report preparation. Based on the results of the analysis of weighting and standardization of values ​​and making a comparison between the AHP method and the WLC method in the research area in Samigaluh District, Kulonprogo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta based on the results of calculations using the comparison and overlay matrix method, it was found that in the AHP method the landslide prone areas were divided into 3 danger index, namely low danger (1906 Ha), medium danger (1835 Ha), and high danger (3062 Ha). Meanwhile, in the WLC method, landslide-prone areas are divided into 2 hazard indices, namely medium hazard (339 Ha) and high hazard (6429 Ha). In both methods, the parameter that influences or dominates is the very steep slope. The results of field validation also show that the research area is a class landslide-prone area, which is found on the landslide-prone area (KRB) map that has been created.

Abstract

The nickel laterite on Gag Island has had a significant impact on the mining industry, with major economic benefits and noteworthy social and environmental impacts. This research aims to understand the formation, characteristics, impacts, and management of nickel laterite on Gag Island through literature studies, field surveys, and laboratory analysis. Gag Island has ophiolite rocks that contain nickel, and limonite nickel is used in the HPAL battery industry. In contrast, saprolite nickel is used in the production of Ferro-Nickel (FeNi) with RKEF technology. The Gag Island laterite nickel mine has environmental impacts related to waste processing and water use in nickel extraction, requiring large investments in infrastructure, processing technology, regulatory compliance, and human resources. Further research is needed to understand the characteristics of Gag Island nickel laterite and address the challenges of facing increasing global nickel demand.

Abstract

Cost estimation is a critical aspect of project execution, serving to ascertain the necessary funding for construction. This research centers on the Estimated Budget Plan (Rencana Anggaran Biaya or RAB) for the construction of Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta's Student Center Building. Its primary objective is to determine the comprehensive cost for the building's construction. Adhering to the SNI No. 1 of 2022 guidelines, the research employs a combination of primary and secondary data collection methods, drawing from sources like Plan Drawings, the Unit Price of Goods and Services (SHBJ), and Unit Price Analysis Guidelines. Subsequently, the research involves several key steps, including quantifying the volume of each type of work, assessing unit prices for these tasks, formulating the budget plan, and concluding with a comprehensive summary of costs for each category of work. Microsoft Excel is the tool of choice for these budget plan calculations. The analytical process encompasses volume computations, unit price assessments, and the final RAB, yielding a total cost estimate of Rp 71,899,735,842.00 for the construction of the Student Center Building at Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta.

Abstract

In the Special Region of Yogyakarta, the central hub of government, economy, and industry constitutes essential elements with diverse infrastructure and resources. Nevertheless, construction projects in this area often pose high risks to occupational safety and health. This situation has led to a poor safety record within the construction sector. To address this issue, efforts have been implemented in the form of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) measures on construction projects, aiming to create a safer, healthier, and more productive work environment. This study examines the application of OSH on building construction projects in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, utilizing a quantitative field research method and questionnaires as primary data sources. The research findings indicate that the overall implementation of OSH on these projects is relatively good, with a lower standard deviation compared to the means of independent (X) and dependent (Y) variables. Variable X2 shows a positive influence on Y, while X1 and X3 do not exhibit significant positive effects. In summary, the independent variables collectively have a positive influence on the dependent variable, with a 53% impact.

Abstract

The research was conducted at PT. Indexim Coalindo is a coal mining company operating in East Kalimantan. The mining method used is an open pit with the main activity of spreading the overburden being blasting. Fragmentation is an important factor in blasting for this company the fragmentation size does not exceed 86 cm or ≤ 20% based on the bucket width of the loading digging tool, namely the Komatsu PC 2600. The method used to analyze the fragmentation resulting from blasting is actual Image Analysis, and theoretically uses the Kuz-Ram method. This is intended to determine and compare the percentage distribution of fragmentation sizes resulting from blasting. Results from fragmentation analysis of PT. Indexim Coalindo in the field carried out in July 2023 and August 2023. In this case, it shows that the image analysis method results in a smaller fragmentation size than the Kuzram method and is in line with the target that the company standards want to produce.

Abstract

In this planning, it is assumed that the CBR value of the subgrade used is the result of taking the CBR value of the field. From the results of the field CBR values obtained 7.158%. Based on Hasi plotting obtained a thick figure of 18.6 inches. That is, that the total thickness must be at least 18.6 inches above the subgrade. Road layer structure planning recommendation for 7.7 in thick subbase course using Clay R50 % sample with CBR value 29.31%, 7.3 in thick base course using Clay R40 % sample with CBR value 32.11%, and 3.1 in thick surface course using Clay R30 % sample with CBR value 36.87%.

Abstract

The settling pond is the final location where water comes from the Pit, Sump, Disposal and run-off water around the mining location at PT. Alam Jaya Pratama site Bara Kumala Sakti. Water quality in settling pond that does not meet the Mining Activity Waste Water Quality Standards can be managed using chemicals, one of which is Calcium Oxide (CaO). The need for Calcium Oxide can be determined after knowing the most effective dose in the settling pond. Calcium Oxide functions to neutralize pH and reduce metal levels (Fe and Mn) in settling ponds. Based on facts in the field, the poor water quality for the surrounding environment is due to the management period being too long and the efficiency of using Calcium Oxide incorrectly. So that the quality of the water released can meet the standards, regular monitoring and testing of the water quality in the settling pond is required with the final aim of the water output being in accordance with the standards and the amount of Calcium Oxide needed in Settling Pond 11 can also be known. From the results of initial measurements on water samples at Inlet Settling Pond 11 was obtained an average pH of 3,25; levels of Fe 1,61 mg/L; levels of Mn 2,81 mg/L are below standard. By testing using the titration method, the average optimum dose for increasing pH and reducing metal levels was 1 mg/L. After each sample went through a titration test, the average was obtained, namely: pH 7,32; levels of Fe 0,46 mg/L; and levels of Mn 1,63 mg/L. From this average dose, the need for Calcium Oxide is 223,32 kg/month. The comparison of Calcium Oxide usage per month between actual and calculated is 500 kg : 223,32 kg. The recommendation from this comparison is that these results can be taken into consideration to optimize the use of Calcium Oxide in Settling Pond 11.

Abstract

Bukit Asam Tbk is a company operating in the coal mining sector located in Lawang Kidul District, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra Province. Observations were carried out on mining activities at Pit-3 Timur and coal handling operational unit-5 to find out what obstacles existed during production activities such as machine breakdowns, queues for transportation equipment, and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out routine maintenance and monitoring of equipment, so that existing obstacles can be minimized. The actual total production value on the mining front is 207,719.15 tons, with the effectiveness of the digging-loading tool being 63.52% and the effectiveness of the tool being 64.89%.

Abstract

Stripping overburden using the blasting method is more economical than using equipment. One of the impacts caused by blasting activities is flyrock. Flyrock influences how far people and units have to be evacuated during blasting activities, so by controlling flyrock the evacuation distance can be reduced based on existing studies, in accordance with Ministerial Decree No. 1827.K/30/MEM/2018. By using the Richard and Moore equation, the distance of the flyrock throw can be predicted by approaching constant values ​​adjusted to the actual conditions at Pit Inul Middle. The research results show that there are several factors that influence the occurrence of flyrock, namely burden with a coefficient of determination value of 0.5183 and stemming height with a coefficient of determination value of 0.4142. Both of these factors have a moderate (medium or sufficient) correlation with flyrock. The actual average distance of flyrock that occurred during data collection was 11.58 meters and the furthest was 39.74 meters. By knowing the prediction of the maximum flyrock throw and considering the safety factor of the equipment, standard values ​​for the stemming and burden height variables can be set, namely a minimum of 2 meters.
