Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal and explain the mathematical concepts contained in the architecture of Sipamuthun Temple in Sipalau village. As a research field concerned with the relationship between culture and mathematics, ethnomathematics aims to gain a deeper understanding of the mathematical knowledge of past societies. The research method used is a qualitative approach using descriptive methods such as direct observation, documentation and library observation. The research results show that the design of Sipamuthun Temple displays a varied floor plan that reflects the complexity of the local community's mathematical knowledge. It is hoped that this research can increase public awareness of the importance of understanding mathematical concepts that exist in local culture and preserving existing cultural heritage.

Abstract

One of the strategic steps to improve the quality of education and the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process in senior secondary schools (SMA) is learning needs assessment analysis. This article discusses the importance of needs analysis, the techniques used, results, and application in learning in high schools. Surveys, interviews, and observations are commonly used techniques to identify student characteristics, suitability of materials, and required learning resources. The results of the analysis show that the curriculum and teaching methods must be adjusted to better suit students' interests and learning styles. Changing curricula, providing teacher training, and providing a variety of learning resources are all steps that must be taken to implement these findings. So, learning needs analysis not only increases students' desires but also improves their overall academic performance. This means a better and more supportive learning environment.

Abstract

Liwetan is a tradition to cook and eat from a tray or banana leaves together. This Liwetan is done with some students eating on banana leaves filled with food and side dishes. This tradition is closely related to positive habituation and character values. This article aims to explore the nyantri and liwetan traditions carried out by santri. The research method used is a qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that the nyantri tradition has been carried out from generation to generation as part of the principle of the Kediri community that religious knowledge is more important to learn, the liwetan tradition developed from the beginning to be frugal to become a tradition used to build the character of students who have an attitude, simplicity, togetherness, mutual respect, cooperation, friendship, nationalism and eliminating the boundaries of social stratification.

Abstract

This research have purpose to identification the difficulties that students have experience, to know the factors which cause the difficulties, and to know the improvement steps that teacher have done to influenced five grade student gugus I in Lingsar subdistric. This research is descriptive research with qualitative approachment. The subject in this research are students in the five grade gugus I in Lingsar subdistric, which got difficulties experience at social studies subject, and teacher class.Aggregation data technical use interview technical, observation, and documentation. The data analysis of this research use Interactive Analysis Method. To have data validity, the research to do credibility test,transferability, dependability and confirmability. Research product of the study indicate that the difficulties experienced by student social studies learning are difficulty in language, difficulity in understanding the concept, difficulity in remembering and mistake because of carelessness.The factors that affect learning difficulties is internal factors, that are low shrewdness, attitude less attention to learning, low learning interest, and low learning motivation. While, external factors that are, lack of parents attention, the ambience of learning at home is less condusive, circle condition, influence of mass media, the presentation of learning materials is less interesting, learning methods are less varied, rarely used instructional media, and means of learning is not complete yet. Improvement steps that have been done by classroom teacher are give special attention to students who have learning difficulties, teacher try to get closer to students, the teacher explains the material that is not yet understood and teacher also do remedial activities.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the description of the application of the Mind Map method in class V social studies learning, whether there is an influence of the Mind Map method on the social studies learning outcomes of class V students at SDN Gugus 4 Selaparang. This research uses a quantitative experimental method, Quasi Experimental type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were fifth grade elementary school students in cluster 4 in Selaparang District, namely SDN 33 Mataram, SDN 34 Mataram, SDN 24 Mataram and SDN 10 Mataram. The samples were SDN 33 Mataram as the experimental class and SDN 34 Mataram as the control class. The sampling technique used was Nonprobability Sampling with a Purposive Sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using objective test methods to obtain learning outcome data and documentation methods to obtain data in the form of photos of student and teacher activities during the learning process. Learning outcomes data were analyzed using the polled variance t-test. Before testing the hypothesis, the data obtained is first tested for normality and homogeneity of the data. After carrying out the analysis, the tcount result was 2.601, while the ttable was 2.001 at a significance level of 5%, which means that there was an influence of the Mind Map Method on the Social Studies Learning Outcomes of Class V Students at SDN Gugus 4 Selaparang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Example Non Example for the science learning achievement the students grade 5th in cluster IV central Praya sub-district. The population of this study was all 5th grade students in cluster IV central Praya sub-district. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique, obtained by jorong elementary school students as the experimental class and dakung public elementary school as a control class. In the learning axperimental group using the Example Non Example learning model, while in the control group using a conventional learning. The research instruments in the form of multiple choice questions amounted to 26 questions. The result showed that the average value (postest) of science learning achievement the students of the experimental class using Example Non Example was 73,72. While the average value (postest) of science learning achievement the students of the control class using the conventional learning was 52,5. So, there are significant differences between the science learning achievement the students who use Example Non Example learning model by using conventional learning. Science learning achievement data were analyzed using polled variance t-test, obtained result of tcount > ttable (6,75 > 1,99) at the significance level of 5%. Based on the gain test, it can be seen that there is an increase in science learning achievement of 0,466 in the medium category of experimental students and 0,232 in the low categorized control class. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of using Example Non Example for the science learning achievement the students grade 5th in cluster iv central Praya sub-district.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a situation where teachers need to design and implement learning using learning models that enable students to learn more actively and create meaningful impressions in the hope that learning outcomes can be achieved. The aim of this research is to prove whether there is an influence of the standard model on science learning outcomes for class III students at SDN Gugus II Gunung Sari. This research is a quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental design) with a nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research were all students in class III of SDN Gugus II Gunung Sari, totaling 184 students, and the research sample was taken using the purposive sampling technique, totaling 48 students, namely classes IIIA and IIIB. The data collection technique in this research is using tests and documentation. Post-test data analysis in this study used the t test to determine whether there was an effect of treatment in the experimental group. Based on the results of statistical analysis calculations, tcount results of 3.891> ttable = 2.014 at a significance level of 5% can be obtained. These results prove that there is an influence of the Pakem Model on Science Learning Outcomes in Class III Students at SDN Gugus II Gunung Sari.

Abstract

This stady aims to determine de “effecriveness of de problrm based introduction learning techque in learing activities of class IV IPS SDN 20 Cakranegara in cakranegara” subdistrict. This type of recearc is an experimental research wth non eguivalent control graoup design type. The researchsubjects were 48 students, 24 in the experimental class and 24 in the control class. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and questionnaires. Based on the results of the post-test the average value of students in the experimental class higher compared to the average value of students in the control class. the average value of students in the experimental class post-testwas 80 while the average value of students in the control class was 66. This acquisition was futher strengthened by the results of the hypothesis testwith the formula t-pillan variance. Analisis of the calculation obtained tcount result of 7,838 while ttable, og 2,410 at a significant level of 5% which means that the result of tcount ≥ ttable, so that it can be concluded that Ha is acceptes and H0 is re jected which reads “effecriveness of de problrm based introduction learning techque in learing activities of class IV IPS SDN 20 Cakranegara in cakranegara”.

Abstract

The backgrand of this study is students have low grades because of lack creatifity of the teacher in using method or learning media, so the students find that learning is very boring. The aim of this study is to proof the effect of collaboration Experiment method with Team Product to students score in science at five grade of SDN 3 Sesela in academic year 2018/2019. The kind of this research is Quasi Experiment Desigen. The population of this study is 42 students, the sample of this study is two classes, there are A five grade consist of 21 students and B five grade with 21 studenst. The technique of collecting data in this study is using test and documentation. The posttest data is using t-test in polled varians and N-gain test to knowing the difference two groups significantly. Based on analysis statistic the result of tcount is 2,699 > ttable 2,021 (assigenment of two groups) to significance level 5% which is mean that there is differences between students score in experiment class and control and control class in science at five grade of SDN 3 Sesela in academic year 2018/2019. The difference is 8,45 (71,02-62,57). The increasing of science score at 5 grades of SDN 3 Sesela academic year 2018/2019 is knowing mean <g> experiment class 0,451 medium level. Which is higher then control class is 0,206 low level. The conclusing is there is effect of implementation collaboration experiment method with team product to students score at 5 grade of SDN 2 Sesela academic year 2018/2019.

Abstract

This is a new author guidelines and article template of Jurnal Ilmiah Widya Pustaka Pendidikan edition January 2021 publication. Abstract is written briefly and factually using Times New Roman letter, size 10 pt with text length between 200-250 words. English version abstracts are written in English in past tense and in good sentences. Do not use abbreviations or citation in the abstract. Results and conclusions are written in present tense. Abstract includes background of problems, research objectives, research methods, results and conclusionThis research was motivated by the low student learning outcomes so that research was conducted at this school. This research is included in the classroom action research which aims to improve student learning outcomes in natural science subjects in class III SDN 35 Ampenan 2017/2018 Academic Year, with the use of photo media students are expected to understand the material described by the teacher and stimulate students' understanding of the material that. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisted of 2 meetings and was carried out through four stages: planning, implementation, observation and evaluation, and reflection. The research instruments are observation sheets, learning outcomes and documentation. Observer in this study was one person, namely: class III teacher. And the results of the study showed that the average student learning outcomes in the first cycle were 69.58 with kelaksikal completeness which was 46% while the students' activity acquisition scores were 32 which were categorized as less active and teacher 14 activity scores were in good category. In the second cycle there was an increase with an average value of 80.83 students with 83.3% classical completeness, while the student activity acquisition score was 42 with the active category and the teacher activity was 18 with very good categories. This means that Classroom Action Research (CAR) has fulfilled the indicator that you want to achieve. Therefore, based on the results of the study it can be concluded that, the use of photo media can improve science learning outcomes for third grade students of SDN 35 Ampenan 2017/2018 Academic Year.
