Abstract

This study aims to determine the concept of Islamic boarding schools in general to find out the views of KH. Abdurrahman Wahid on the concept of advancing pesantren education. In this study, researchers used a literature study using descriptive research methods, namely from all the data collected and then analyzed qualitatively. This research concludes that the concept of Islamic boarding school education is the basis of character education by emphasizing the concept of moral education based on the Qur'an and Hadith. That humans are taught to always be good and the best and to be able to prevent bad deeds. The process of learning and teaching in the pesantren environment is not just mastering religious sciences but also the process of forming a view of life, and determining the behavior of the students after they return from the Islamic boarding school to the life of the community. The concept of advancing pesantren put forward by KH. Abdurrahman Wahid namely: encouraging a program of mixing religious and non-religious components in the formal curriculum at Islamic boarding schools, skills programs and community development programs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the concept of Islamic religious education from the perspective of Abuddin Nata. This type of research uses library research methods that focus on studies and the study of a manuscript. This is done because the data sources obtained and used by researchers are in the form of literature. The conclusion of this study is to state that the Qur'an and al-Hadith are the main sources of Islamic education. The concept of Islamic education is monotheism which is imbued with divine and at the same time education in Islam as a form of worship. Education is essentially to increase human values ​​to a higher degree. In the beginning humans were one people and then multiplied and there were differences in ethnicity, skin color, and language and so on. National and language differences are not an obstacle to realizing the unity and oneness of mankind, basically education must be able to bring back one people.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether the application of the discussion method could improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Fiqh class IX A MTS Negeri 2 Indramayu. This type of research is the Mixed Method method, which is a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. Mixed method is a method that uses a combination of research procedures, where one method is more dominant than the other. Less dominant methods are only positioned as complementary methods as additional data. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the application of the Discussion learning method in Fiqh subjects has a positive influence in increasing students' learning interest. it can be concluded that the discussion method proved to be very effective for increasing motivation and learning outcomes. This can be seen in the observation scores obtained for class IX A at MTs Negeri 2 Indramayu in cycle I, namely (58.3%) and the results of the test, namely (54.84%) students who passed. In cycle II, there was a significant increase in class observation scores (80.5%) and the test results (87.10%) of students who passed in the high category because they exceeded the KKM standards carried out at MTs Negeri 2 Indramayu.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of student discipline in improving learning achievement in class XI MA Fatahillah Lohbener Indramayu. This type of research is field research using a qualitative approach and using descriptive analysis, with data collection techniques carried out by observation, documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. The conclusion of the study is that the implementation of student discipline at MA Fatahillah Lohbener Indramayu is going well and students obey the rules made by the school. Then the effort to implement student discipline in improving learning achievement is to apply time discipline, dress discipline, worship discipline, study discipline, school activity discipline and apply strict punishments. From these efforts it is evident that there has been an increase in student discipline. The improvement is that students can implement discipline at school, the enthusiasm for learning and student learning outcomes are increasing, as evidenced by the many academic achievements obtained by MA Fatahillah Lohbener Indramayu students. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the application of the Mind Mapping learning method could increase students' interest in learning Fiqh class VIII A at MTs YAPIIM Dukuh Indramayu. The type of this research is the Mixed Method method, which is a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. Mixed method is a method that uses a combination of research procedures, where one method is more dominant than the other. Less dominant methods are only positioned as complementary methods as additional data. The complementary method in this research is the qualitative method and the complementary method is the quantitative method. The conclusion of this study is the implementation of the application of the method Mind Mapping learning on Fiqh subjects has a positive influence in increasing student learning interest. There is an increase in student learning interest in fiqh subjects using the Mind Mapping learning method. The results of observations in the first cycle of enthusiasm and activity of class VIII A MTs YAPIIM Dukuh Indramayu were in the good category, namely 66.6% and the observation results of the second cycle have reached 83.3%. Results of the questionnaire/questionnaire Student interest in cycle I was 72.8% and there was an increase in interest in learning in cycle II, namely 76.8% which was in the very high category.

Abstract

Untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa khususnya mata pelajaran matematika perlu dicarikan upaya-upaya yang tepat dan efektif serta efisien. Salah satu upayanya adalah pemilihan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih menekankan pada aktivitas belajar siswa dan bukan pada aktivitas mengajar guru. Ada beberapa strategi pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Salah satunya adalah Problem-Based Learning. Dalam pembelajaran matematika, khususnya dalam penyelesaian soal-soal logika dibanding dengan strategi pembelajaran lainnya, strategi Problem-Based Learning memiliki beberapa keunggulan, di antaranya siswa lebih aktif untuk berdiskusi dan berkolaborasi dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal–soal pada pokok bahasan Logika Matematika. (2)  mengetahui prestasi belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan Logika Matematika. (3) mengetahui dampak metode Problem-Based Learning dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan Logika Matematika

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca tulis Al-qur’an sangat penting dimiliki oleh setiap peserta didik di setiap jenjang pendidikan, terlebih di jenjang Sekolah Dasar yang merupakan awal mula dari semua jenjang pendidikan tersebut. Dengan kemampuan membaca tulis yang baik maka akan tercapai hasil belajar yang baik pula. Namun demikian, kemampuan membaca siswa kelas III SD Negeri Lambangkuning masih rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan tulis Al-qur’an dengan metode demonstrasi terhadap siswa. Jenis dari penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjeknya adalah kelas III yang berjumlah 17 siswa dengan meliputi perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pengamatan dan tes. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan persentase kemampuan membaca siswa dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2. Pada siklus 1 hanya 46,9% dan siklus ke II naik menjadi 100% siswa dikatakan tercapai dengan IDK peneliti tentukan yakni 75%. Peningkatan ini berhasil dicapai karena Peneliti melakukan perbaikan pembelajaran pada aspek media pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran dan model pembelajaran. Dalam hal ini peneliti menggunakan media kertas folio dengan huruf, metode yang digunakan adalah demonstrasi dan model pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah cooperative learning. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode demonstrasi berbantu media kertas folio dengan huruf meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan meulis al-qur’an siswa SD Negeri Lambangkuning Tahun Pelajaran 2023

Abstract

Class size reduction (CSR) program is a policy that has been implemented in the world of education to improve the quality of teaching and learning. This research aims to provide a historical review of CSR and its positive impact on education. Through library research, this study collects information on the CSR concept, evaluates CSR programs that have been implemented in various countries, and analyzes the positive impacts of those programs, such as increased teacher attention, improved social interaction, higher academic achievement, better teacher job satisfaction, enhanced equity, fewer discipline problems, more time for instruction, more time for individualization, and more varied instructional learning strategy. However, there are also criticisms of CSR, such as the high cost and the lack of consistent empirical evidence regarding its impact on student academic achievement. This study concludes that CSR is a promising policy for improving the quality of education, but its implementation requires careful consideration and evaluation. The findings of this study can provide insights for policymakers and education practitioners in deciding to implement CSR in their schools.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to (1) optimize the competence of student teachers through the peer tutoring method with an andragogical approach at the Chemistry MGMP "Jiang Jang Isotope" in East Barito Regency; (2) change the mindset of the Chemistry teacher at the Chemistry MGMP "Jiang Jang Isotope" East Barito Regency, Regency East Barito becomes a teacher as an agent of reform who is ready to face the Teacher Competency Test. The method of fostering and empowering the MGMP Chemistry "Isotope Jari Jenang" using the peer-to-peer method with the andragogical approach. The results obtained by implementing the Guidance and Empowerment of student teachers through the peer tutoring method with the andragogic approach can optimize the competence of teachers at the MGMP Chemistry "Isotope Jari Jang" Barito Regency Timur and was able to change his mindset as a teacher who became an agent of reform in facilitating student-centered learning and was ready to face the Teacher Competency Test (UKG).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the educational messages related to character education and environmental conservation in the film The Lion King (1994). Using a qualitative research design and content analysis, the film's narrative structure, dialogue, and visual elements were analyzed to identify key themes and sub-themes related to character education and environmental conservation. The results reveal that The Lion King contains important educational messages related to responsibility, leadership, respect for nature, and the interconnectedness of all living things. These findings highlight the potential of films as a tool for promoting positive values and education. The study's implications for education and media literacy are discussed, emphasizing the importance of incorporating media into educational curricula to enhance students' understanding of important concepts and foster critical thinking and analysis skills. Overall, this study shows that films, such as The Lion King, can be a valuable tool for promoting positive values and education, especially for character education and environmental conservation. The findings suggest that educators can use media content analysis as a means to identify and analyze the educational messages embedded in films, and incorporate these messages into educational curricula to enhance students' learning and development.
