Abstract

In post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction, the participation of all parties is necessary because the rehabilitation and reconstruction program is the most complex activity in disaster management, from the process of planning, financing to implementation. The tsunami that occurred in the Sunda Strait on December 22 2018 brought huge losses and needed to be dealt with quickly. Delays in the rehabilitation and reconstruction process can affect the stability of national security. The participation of all parties in the rehabilitation and reconstruction process is necessary so that the post-disaster recovery process can run effectively and efficiently. The participation of various parties in an activity requires coordination so that the activity can run properly. The purpose of this research is to analyze the coordination network in post-2018 tsunami rehabilitation and reconstruction in Pandeglang Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained from interviews with research subjects selected based on purposive sampling and snowball. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative data analysis methods and simulations using UCINET 6 for the coordination network. The results showed that all parties participated in post-tsunami recovery management in Pandeglang District starting from the planning, implementation to monitoring and evaluation stages. The level and form of participation is different for each element of society involved. Coordination is carried out with two coordination networks, namely with the type of lead agency and lead leadership.

Abstract

The Influence of Several Factors on Financial Performance with Corporate Social Responsibility as an Intervening Variable (Case Study in Manufacturing Companies in the Consumer Industry Sub Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research was conducted with the aim of examining and analyzing the effect of environmental performance, environmental costs and company size on financial performance mediated by Corporate Social Responsibility. The population in this study are manufacturing companies in the Consumer Industry Sub Sector which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2017 to 2021. The sample selection technique used purposive sampling so that 5 companies were obtained with a total of 24 data. The results of these data have been tested by classical assumptions in the form assumption of normality, assumption of multicollinearity, assumption of heteroscedasticity, and assumption of autocorrelation. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression techniques. The results of the study simultaneously show that Environmental Performance, Environmental Costs and Company Size have a positive effect on Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Social Responsibility has a significant positive effect on Financial Performance and Environmental Performance, Environmental Costs, and Company Size have a positive effect on Financial Performance mediated by Corporate Social Responsibility.

Abstract

Astirin Mbalela's novel describes the life of a Javanese female character who struggles for her own existence as a subject because she experiences injustice caused by gender. This research aims to build awareness about the existence of objectification of women by deepening the discussion of existentialist feminism, especially in the context of Javanese culture which is considered foreign, so that it becomes a reference for the ethics of Javanese or non-Javanese society in society according to the idea of existentialist feminism. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method with a feminist literary criticism approach. The results of this study show a form of objectification towards women and shows a form of resistance to Astirin's existence as a woman by using the Javanese cultural context, namely 'mbalela'. Astirin is a Javanese female character who can represent according to Simone de Beauvoir's existentialist feminist ideas. The representation of Astirin's character can be categorized into a form of struggle as a form of women's existence. In the context of Javanese culture which is represented through novels, this research provides a renewed discussion of the existence of Javanese women, especially in the context of feminism existensialism. With this research it is hoped that the phenomenon of objectification of women which in fact is detrimental to women can be reduced or even eliminated. Abstract

Toa Baja Kitchen & Coffee as a restaurant in the Cirebon area, is able to attract many customers on weekdays and holidays. With so many customers coming, it will raise the question "Does Toa Baja already have a good store atmosphere?" and "Is the purchase decision increased because there is influence from the store atmosphere?". This research was conducted with the aim of knowing whether store atmosphere has an influence on purchasing decisions at Toa Baja Kitchen & Coffee Cirebon. Researchers conducted this research using quantitative descriptive research methods. The data in this study were obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires which were carried out offline or directly distributed at the Toa Baja Kitchen & Coffee Cirebon location, by distributing them to 103 respondents. The questionnaire distributed consisted of 38 statements with a Likert scale type. The results of the questionnaire were then processed with a tool in the form of SPSS version 27. The results of the research that have been obtained are that the majority of respondents are women with an age range of 20-25 years and have the most status, namely private employees. Based on validity and reliability tests, all statements used are valid and reliable. Store atmosphere can influence 64% of the purchasing decision variable at Toa Baja Kitchen & Coffee Cirebon, and others are influenced by other factors not explained in this study. Based on the simple linear regression test, the regression coefficient X shows the number 0.304, therefore for every 1% addition to the store atmosphere, the purchase decision will increase by 0.304. Through the results of the T test it can be seen that the variable store atmosphere influences purchasing decisions. Based on the results of this study, the suggestion for Toa Baja Kitchen & Coffee Cirebon is to develop a store atmosphere in terms of Exterior, General Interior and Store Layout to improve purchasing decisions at Toa Baja Kitchen & Coffee.

Abstract

This research aimed to discover the concept of the word handsomeness in the perspective of Javanese people. The concept could be discovered by understanding the meaning of the word bagus based on its usage in the society. The data utilized to discover the meaning of bagus was obtained from the Javanese corpus in the corpus web application at https://korpus.ui.ac.id/. In the corpus web application, there is a data in which Javanese is utilized both from the oral and written sources since 1950 until 2010, approximately four million words. The meaning of bagus was discovered through collocation of the word’s meaning with another words. It refers to the concept of semantic preference. The words related with the word “bagus” was categorized based on the category of UCREL Semantic Analysis System (USAS). The research discovered that the word bagus is not only associated with a man with certain level of maturity, but also applies for kids and babies. Moreover, bagus is also associated with objects, animals, thoughts, personality, beliefs, and politeness. It discovers a new understanding to the concept of the word bagus in the Javanese society which is previously associated with the physical condition or a man’s look.

Abstract

The research entitled Exemplary Basic Characters of the Three Goddesses is a research that contains the presentation of some of the basic characters of three goddesses in the Purwa era, namely Dewi Erawati, Dewi Surtikanti, and Dewi Banuwati in the Dhadhasaring Putri Titiga NB 1091 Manuscript which can be exemplified, especially Javanese women. The discussion about character exemplary based on the basic characters of the three goddesses in the DPT script was chosen because through example it can build the character of Javanese women in improving their quality and building harmony and harmony in life that will continue. The purpose of this study is to explore and explain some of the basic characters of Dewi Erawati, Dewi Surtikanti, and Dewi Banuwati who can be role models for Javanese women. . This research is qualitative research using philological methods and work steps. The results showed that the habits possessed by Dewi Erawati, Dewi Surtikanti, and Dewi Banuwati are basic characters that can be role models for Javanese women. The novelty produced by this study is in the form of a study of the content of the manuscript text regarding the example of the characters possessed by the three goddesses in the manuscript text of Dhasaring Putri Titiga NB 1091, while in the previous research it was carried out only as a need for making a manuscript catalog.

Abstract

This study reveals a problem about how teachers build students’ psychomotor abilities in fiqih learning at MAS Al Hikmah. The formulation of this problem is 1) How is the application of curriculum in jurisprudence learning in MAS Al Hikmah?, 2) What is the method of learning jurisprudence in MAS Al Hikmah?, 3) How is the development of psychomtoric abilities of students in learning jurisprudence in MAS Al Hikmah?. This research uses qualitative research methods and descriptive approaches. The subject of fiqh teacher research, as well as MAS Al Hikmah students. With interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. And technical analysis of data using data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. From the findings of this research the first curriculum in MAS Al Hikmah already uses the 2013 curriculum, and uses three stages, namely 1) The planning stage, 2) The implementation phase, 3) The evaluation phase. Both fiqh learning methods have used the Lecture Method, Question and Answer Method, Practice Method, Roll Playying Method, Assignment Method. Third Development of Psychomotor Ability in Subjects of Fiqh in MAS Al Hikmah, Determining the purpose of the form of action, Analyzing the skills in detail, Practicing brief explanation skills, Giving students the opportunity to try, Doing pr actice with supervision and guidance, Providing an assessment of students' efforts.

Abstract

Civil Religion terminology which was popularized by Robert N Bellah, a sociologist from the United States through his writing "Civil Religion in America" (1967), combines religious morals and moral goodness outside religion to become public morals. Civil religion is a minimum agreement regarding religious values that are held together, regardless of any religious beliefs held by each person or group. Individually, each is free to adhere to the teachings of his or her religion, but collectively all adhere to the beliefs agreed upon in the civil religion as fellow citizens of the nation. Civil Religion is not 'religion' (religion) in a general and ordinary sense (in the traditional sense), but civil religion is an agreement that social, state or political life must be accounted for before a conscience filled with religion. The conception of a civil religion in Indonesia is contained in Pancasila which is the meeting point where all colors and differences unite, the fulcrum which is the basis of law, as well as the point where this nation is directed. Pancasila as the conception of civil religion in Indonesia is a principle that can unite and guarantee social order. As a pluralistic country, we need glue that unites all kinds of differences while still acknowledging this diversity but upholding unity. In this study it was concluded that Pancasila with its precepts is a public moral value or civil religion in Indonesia which is able to provide strength for the continuity and glory of the life of the nation and state.

Abstract

One indicator of the financial performance of the Return On Investment and Return On Equity in PT Perkebunan XYZ tend to be experiencing a decline, but this does not automatically indicate the condition of the company are not optimal. The values ​​of the financial ratios only indicate financial performance so that there is a tendency to ignore this aspect of non-financial, such as customer satisfaction, productivity, and cost-effectiveness process used to produce products and services, and empowerment, and employee commitment to delivering products and services for customer satisfaction. Performance measurement that takes into account the financial aspects and non-financial aspects are balanced scorecard still maintaining the traditional financial measures. The purpose of this study which analyzes the performance of PT Perkebunan XYZ comprehensive and can serve as the basis for long-term planning and to recommend steps that need to be done by the management of PT Perkebunan XYZ, so that the measurement results Balanced Socrecard can be implemented in improving company performance by considering four perspectives. The results showed that the first perspective learning and growth perspective shows an increase in the number of employees who attend training and development, increasing the ratio of the load of training and development as well as increased capital organization proven to increase customer satisfaction and employee motivation. In the perspective of both the internal business processes perspective shows PT Perkebunan XYZ able to create quality products. The third perspective which shows the customer perspective customers are satisfied with the quality of services provided by the company. Net profits are seen fluctuations, the average profit per customer and profitability per customer increased, while average operating expenses per customer declined. The fourth perspective of the financial perspective showed increased growth in revenue and net profit margin however decreased ROI.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of English vocabulary mastery on the ability to read and understand English texts of Medan State Polytechnic Banking and Finance Study Program students for the 2012/2013 academic year who received Class Action research and those who did not receive Class Action research. The type of data collected is qualitative data with data collection tools (instruments) used in this research, namely English vocabulary tests and English text reading comprehension tests. Respondents were taken as many as 40 students. This research uses descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the research showed that there is an influence of mastery of English vocabulary on the ability to understand English texts of Medan State Polytechnic Banking and Finance Study Program students for the 2012-2013 year who received class action research compared to those who did not receive class action research.
