Abstract

This research wants to explore the implications of Ibn Miskawaih's ethical philosophy for the formation of manners of the younger generation using character education. This research involves a philosophical perspective, and the purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between philosophical values in education and the decline of manners. This research utilizes a qualitative approach study, this study uses the foundation of ethical philosophy and the concept of manners with its foundation. The review used in this research is through philosophical discussion and case studies, identifying research related to the relationship between values contained in philosophy such as wisdom, truth, and justice with the aim of character building in the younger generation by covering aspects of manners. This research tries to show an understanding of the philosophy of ethics from Ibn Miskawaih can be used as a strong foundation to overcome the decline in the manners of the younger generation, and provide a deep understanding of the philosophy of ethics not only as a theory but can be used as a practical guide in developing character education to build morals and ethics in the younger generation. By using a deliberate strategy to incorporate philosophical values into a character-based instructional curriculum, this research contributes to improving the quality of education. Keywords: character education, ethics philosophy, ibnu miskawaih Penelitian ini ingin mendalami terkait Implikasi dari filsafat etika dari Ibnu Miskawaih untuk pembentukan tata krama generasi muda dengan mengunakan pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini melibatkan prespektif filosofis, dan tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengurai hubungan nilai-nilai filososfis pada pendidikan dan kemerosotan tata krama. Penelitain ini memanfatkan studi pendekatan kualitatif, studi ini menggunakan landasan filsafat etika dan tentang konsep tata krama dengan landasannya. Tinjauan yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini melalui diskusi filosofis dan studi kasus, identifikasi penelitian terkait hubungan anatara nilai-nilai yang terkadung pada filosofis sperti halnya kebijaksanaan, kebenaran, dan keadilan dengan tujuan pembentukan karakter pada generasi muda dengan mencakup aspek tata krama. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk menunjukan pemahaman terkait filsafat etika dari Ibnu Miskawaih dapat di jadikan landasan yang kuat guna mengatasi kemerosotan pada tata krama generasi muda, dan memberi pemahaman yang mendalaman terkait Filosofi etika tidak hanya menjadi sebuah teori saja akan tetapi bisa di jadikan suatu panduan praktis dalam mengembangkan pendidikan karakter guna membangun moral dan etika pada generasi muda. Dengan menggunakan strategi yang disengaja untuk memasukkan nilai-nilai filosofis ke dalam kurikulum instruksional berbasis karakter, penelitian ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Abstract

There are four basic efforts that must be made in a product/service producing institution to produc  better quality, in this case an islamic  educational institution, namely : (1) Creating a “win win” situation  an not “win win” situation. “lose win” between parties  with an interest  in product / service  producing  institutions  (stakehoulders). In this case, especially between  the leadhership / owner of the institution and the staff  of the institution, there must  be mutually  beneficial  conditions  for each  other in achieving  thue quality  of the products / service produced by the institutions (2) it is necessary  to develop instrinsic motivation in everyone involved in the process  of achieving product / service  quality. Every person  must grow  motivated  that the result  of their activites reach  a certain  quality that  continues to improve, especially  in accordance  with the needs and expectations of user / subcribbes. (3) every leader must be oriented towards  long-term process and results. Impelementing TQM is not a short-term change process, but a consistent  and continous  log-term  effort (4) in mobilizing  all institutional  capabilities  to achieve the specified  quality, cooperation must  be developed be results.  There should  be no competion between  them that interferes with the process of achieving quality results  they are a unit that must work together and cannot  be separated from each other to produce quality products / services as expected.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse how the idea of Islamic education reform progresses from the perspective of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan and the role of Muhammadiyah in inheriting K.H Ahmad Dahlan's thoughts. The method in this research uses character research with a literature study approach (Library Research). The results showed that K.H. Ahmad Dahlan was a reform thinker in Indonesia who was engaged in the field of education through the organisation he formed, namely Muhammadiyah. There are so many thoughts of renewal of Islamic education, such as in the aspects of the education system, educational goals, educational materials to teaching methods. K.H. Ahmad Dahlan as a figure of renewal in Indonesia came up with his thoughts to respond to the condition of the people, especially in the field of Islamic education which was very bad in Indonesia during the Dutch colonial government. The presence of the Islamic organisation formed by K.H. Ahmad Dahlan, Muhammadiyah, also inherited K.H. Ahmad Dahlan's understanding of progressive Islamic education, which is needed to be implemented in Indonesia. The results of this study can also be used as a reference in other studies related to Islamic education in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Hidden Curriculum of Islamic Education as an alternative approach in shaping the character and religious culture of students at SMP Qurratul Uyun Trasak Larangan Pamekasan. The approach used in this research is descriptive-qualitative. Data sources were obtained through participatory interviews and observations, with informants including the School Principal, Vice Principal (Curriculum Vice Principal), Islamic Education Teachers (PAI), and students of SMP Qurratul Uyun. The results show that the implementation of the hidden curriculum activities of Islamic Education at SMP Qurratul Uyun Trasak Larangan Pamekasan in shaping the character and religious culture of students includes: Collective Morning Invocation and Prayer, Noon Prayer in Congregation, Friday Charity, Ramadan Lectures, Commemoration of Islamic Holidays, Habituation of S3 (Smile, Greet, Greet), Religious Studies, Visiting Sick Friends and Offering Condolences, and Quran Memorization. Factors inhibiting the implementation of hidden curriculum activities of Islamic Education at SMP Qurratul Uyun Trasak Larangan Pamekasan in shaping the character and religious culture of students include: Firstly, internal factors, namely the lack of awareness among some school residents about the importance of the Hidden Curriculum activities of Islamic Education at SMP Qurratul Uyun. Secondly, external factors, such as influences from outside the school environment and family. Thirdly, funding factors, specifically the limited budget available for hidden curriculum activities.

Abstract

Adapting e-learning in Islamic Education: Building a collaborative-inclusive approach for the progress of Madrasah & Islamic Boarding School institutions in Madura has its own attraction for researchers to carry out in-depth studies, this is due to the many unique problems of the Madura region which have distinctive characteristics, then e-learning learning phenomenon applied in the education and teaching process. The research methods used are 1) qualitative approach and exploratory type, 2) location in the Madura region, 3) data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation data analysis, 4) data analysis, 5) validity and reliability, and 6) research ethics. The research results show that: 1) Implementation of e-learning adaptation includes: a) Technological infrastructure and learning accessibility have been built, but still need to be improved, b) Asatidz competencies still need to be supported, c) The students' learning skills are quite good, d) Inclusivity is under educational goals and is still worthy of optimization, e) the benefits of e-learning are: flexibility, extensive learning resources, optimal involvement of students in e-learning. 2) The results of e-learning adaptation show that: a) Increased accessibility of e-learning learning continues to increase and leads to progress, b) Implementation of education by collaboration continues to be encouraged for the progress of Madrasas and Islamic Boarding Schools, c) Increased competency of asatidz, d) The quality of learning and academic results of the students are increasing and improving, e) The challenges of e-learning vary depending on the area where the Islamic educational institution is located, f) Inclusiveness and accommodation for special needs for students providing equal space and opportunities for people with disabilities. The implications of this research are: 1) Accessibility of Islamic education is increasing, 2) Information technology skills are increasing, 3) Islamic education learning processes are becoming more qualified and flexible, 4) Collaboration in the implementation of education can be well-developed, 5) Encouraging the participation of guardians and parents and several community commodities who care about the continuity of Islamic education, 6) Open opportunities for students and students to work, innovate and be creative in the world of Islamic education openly and widely.

Abstract

Modern human life tends to be influinced by negagatife experiences, giving rose to despair, depression and disappointmen in living life. This is not permitted in Islam. This research aim to answer this problem through and agreed approach to optimism in the verses of the Qur’an using the perspctive of self-esteem theory. Thi research uses a literature study approach with the main data in the form of verses from the Al-Qur’an, interpretations and expert opinion abput optimistic character education in jurnal, books, and study result. The conclusion of this research is that Islam introduces education optimism with terms, namely as-shabru, la tahzanu, la tay’asu, and la taqnathu. Meanwhile, self-esteem theory emphasizes giving assesment, appreciation, and good things to on self. The theory of self-esteem has a correlation with the term Islamic optimism which know onself (ya’rif an-nafs), recognize human perfection (insanul kamil), and appreciate to know onself (yardhaun an-nafs). The character education context of optimism as-shobru, la tahzanu, la tay’asu, and la taqnathu develops human abilities to assess objectively and respon conditional wisely and positively so as to know weaknesses and strengths, which ultimately encourages humans to konw Good mor Far. So tha the concept Islamic oftimism education forms a positive human charater that can emerge from negative things such as depression, disappointment and frustration that can be the cause of mental destruction.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, the commercialization of education has become a very significant phenomenon. This research aims to explore the impact of commercialization on social inequality. The research method used is library research by critically and in-depth reviewing library materials that are relevant to the paper material such as books and journals that are suitable as references. The results of this research show that the commercialization of education makes social inequality stronger through several mechanisms, including access to quality education, social class differentiation, and societal divisions. However, there are also some arguments that commercialization of education can increase access to education and create opportunities for individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Therefore, a deeper understanding of the local context and the mechanisms involved is necessary to effectively manage the impacts of educational commercialization and reduce social inequalities.

Abstract

Indonesia has a diversity of customs, languages, arts, crafts and regional skills. In the current era of globalisation in Indonesia, information flowing from one place to another cannot be blocked. Therefore, character and culture-based learning such as PKBAM and PUPB are needed. This study aims to determine the implementation of the local content curriculum of PKBAM and PUPB in Bukittinggi City. This research uses the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The research subjects were principals and teachers. The results showed context evaluation that the PKBAM and PUPB programmes were implemented in all schools at the SD/MI/SDLB and SMP/MTs/SMPLB levels in Bukittinggi City, consisting of 80 schools. Input evaluation that the ESCAM and PUPB programmes are implemented by students who are taught by guest teachers who are appointed directly specifically to teach ESCAM and PUPB materials, teaching materials are prepared in accordance with learning objectives and workshops are held to prepare and revise teaching materials by teachers, ESCAM curriculum is related to minangkabau culture and customs, while for PUPB consists of fiqh, aqidah akhlak, Arabic language, and sirah nabawiyyah, related to facilities and infrastructure for each school is considered appropriate. Evaluation of the learning process that the lesson hours for elementary / MI / SDLB classes I, II, III, are carried out 1 JP with separate methods, for classes IV, V, VI are carried out 1 JP with separate methods. Evaluation of the product that students in Bukittinggi city have begun to see changes in terms of attitude and evaluation of the PKBAM and PUPB programmes is considered to have run well and quite effectively

Abstract

The learning model has become a major focus in efforts to improve learning effectiveness, especially in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. One model that attracts attention is the Jigsaw Cooperative Model, which emphasizes inter-student collaboration to better understanding.  The study aims to explore the application of the Cooperative PAI Learning Model by reference to the Kemp steps. The research method uses a qualitative approach with relevant literature, including books, journals, articles, and other sources related to the chosen topic. The data collection method used is the search for information about various aspects or variables related to a research topic.  Research results show that the application of this model is able to improve student involvement in PAI learning, with more intensive and collaborative learning activities.  The findings underline the importance of implementing Kemp's measures in supporting the effectiveness of the PAI Cooperative Jigsaw Learning Model.  Teachers need to pay attention to planning, implementation, evaluation, and revision continuously to ensure optimal learning.  The practical implications of this research are to provide guidance for educators in adopting and implementing cooperative learning models that are oriented towards better learning outcomes in the context of PAI learning.

Abstract

Abstract Studying and reading kitab kuning is not an easy thing because it requires perseverance and the right method in teaching it. The objectives pf this research are to find The implementation of sorogan method in improving the ability to read kitab kuning at Islahuddiniy Islamic Boarding School and supporting an inhibiting factors in the implementation of sorogan method. The researcher used descriptive qualitative research in this research. The research data were obtained through interview, observation and documentation techniques. The researcher use data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing in data analysis techniques. The results of the research show that the implementation of the sorogan method is carried out by students first reading the book that has been determined by the ustadz or teacher, then the ustadz or teacher listens, pays attention, and provides comments. Supporting factors in implementing the sorogan method are the presence of ustadz or teachers who have the qualities or are competent in applying the sorogan method, the existence of books that are available, the existence of a structured schedule, and students who have a basic knowledge of nahwu sharaf. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are limited time and the lack of uniformity in students' understanding of the science of nahwu sharaf. Through this sorogan method, an ustadz can provide direction, control the reading and be able to determine the students' ability to master nahwu sharaf as a tool to improve the students in reading kitab kuning. Keywords: Reading Ability, Kitab Kuning, Sorogan Method Abstrak Mempelajari dan membaca kitab kuning bukanlah hal yang mudah karena diperlukan ketekunan dan metode yang tepat dalam pengajarannya. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui implementasi metode sorogan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan baca kitab kuning di Pondok Pesantren Islahuddiny Kediri Lomnbok Barat dan faktor pendukung serta penghambat dalam pelaksanaannya. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif bersifat deskriptif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan metode sorogan dilakukan dengan cara santri membaca terlebih dahulu kitab yang telah ditentukan oleh ustadz atau tuan guru kemudian ustadz atau tuan guru mendengarkan, memperhatikan, memberikan komentar. Faktor-faktor pendukung dalam pelaksanaan metode sorogan yaitu adanya ustadz atau tuan guru yang memiliki kualitas atau berkompeten dalam menerapkan metode sorogan, adanya kitab yang telah tersedia, adanya jadwal yang terstruktur, dan santri yang memiliki dasar ilmu nahwu sharaf. Sedangkan yang menjadi faktor penghambat yaitu keterbatasan waktu dan ketidakseragaman pemahaman santri dalam memahami ilmu nahwu sharaf. Melalui, metode sorogan ini dapat memungkinkan seorang ustadz dapat memberikan arahan, mengontrol bacaan serta dapat mengetahui kemampuan santri dalam menguasai nahwu sharaf sebagai alat untuk memperbaiki bacaan santri dalam membaca kitab kuning.
