Abstract

Health protocols were quickly implemented to break the chain of spread of Covid-19, such as: health campaigns, the use of protective attributes, and distance learning which suddenly had to be implemented in every school. The widespread spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia has an impact on all children in Indonesia. This has resulted in many educational forums being overwhelmed in providing supervision, as well as providing optimal learning materials, especially providing knowledge to early childhood about the dangers of a pandemic and the importance of maintaining personal hygiene to prevent the transmission of Covid-19, which is considered relatively difficult, because there is no direct relationship. direct. Through this community service activity, the introduction of the prevention of Covid-19 transmission is carried out through the distribution of online educational videos, in order to provide knowledge and increase the sensitivity of early childhood to be able to maintain personal hygiene and be aware of the dangers that lurk, so that early childhood can consciously do the habit of washing hands, wearing masks, and keeping a distance in daily life to prevent the spread of Covid-19 that hit.

Abstract

Most of the agricultural land in Rembitan Village is dry land with food productivity dominated by corn. This condition has an impact on the low consumption of food and community nutrition, and can threaten household food security. By optimizing the use of yard land, it is expected to increase food independence and meet the food and nutritional needs of the family. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of farmers through the transfer of innovation and cultivation technology in their yards to realize food independence and fulfill family nutritional needs. This service activity was carried out in March 2022. The implementation of the training used a participatory approach method. This community service activity was considered quite successful, seen from the enthusiasm and perseverance of the participants in participating in counseling activities, as well as interest in implementing effective planting patterns in the use of the yard. Continuous assistance from all parties, especially the local government, is highly expected to increase food availability and household food self-sufficiency, especially for dry land farmers.

Abstract

Hand sanitizers are a community need during the Covid-19 pandemic. The availability of hand sanitizers is very small, so they are sold at relatively expensive prices on the market. One solution to the need for public health during the Covid-19 pandemic is to use hand sanitizers made from local materials that can be found in the surrounding environment. However, public knowledge about this is very low. For this reason, this service is carried out to provide knowledge and skills to the community on how to make hand sanitizers made from local materials that are environmentally friendly and economical, such as: betel leaf and lime. This service activity is carried out in 4 (four) stages, namely: 1) interviews and observations, to find out the initial conditions of the people of Karang Dima Village, Sumbawa Regency and local materials that can be used for making hand sanitizers; 2) socialization to the community about the importance of maintaining cleanliness; 3) training and hands-on practice of making hand sanitizers made from local ingredients and their packaging; and 4) assistance. The enthusiasm of the community during the training was very high, and the result of the training was that the community had qualified skills in making their own hand sanitizer, which was much needed.
