Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of brand image on consumer purchase intention of the Indonesian national football team jersey produced by the Erspo brand. Although Erspo initially faced criticism regarding the design and quality of its products, supporter loyalty remained high. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. A total of 100 respondents were selected using the Cochran formula. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicate that brand image has a significant effect on the purchase intention of Erspo's Indonesian national team jerseys. The brand image dimensions—strength, favorability, and uniqueness—play an important role in shaping consumer perception and increasing purchase intention. Based on these findings, it is recommended that Erspo continue to strengthen its brand image through design innovation, quality improvement, and effective communication strategies to engage with its consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the utilization of metal-coated plastic packaging waste (WMP) and eggshell powder (ESP) as partial substitution materials in the manufacture of environmentally friendly paving blocks. The method used is an experimental approach in the laboratory with variations of WMP of 5%, 10%, and 15% as aggregate substitutes, and ESP of 5% as cement substitutes. The test specimens were molded using a hydraulic press machine and tested based on SNI 03-0691-1996 standards for compressive strength, water absorption, resistance to sodium sulfate solution, and impact tests. The results showed that the combination of WMP and ESP was able to improve the mechanical performance of paving blocks, especially in the variations of WMP 10% and ESP 5% which produced optimal compressive strength and low water absorption. This study contributes to the development of sustainable construction materials and supports the sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Abstract

This study aims to test the influence of religiosity, independence, professionalism, family resilience and remuneration as factors that affect corrupt behavior both partially and simultaneously so that efforts to prevent corrupt behavior through the Sharia Maqashid approach are obtained. The study used quantitative method, the population in this study is all employees in one agency that handles disasters. The sample size used was 269 respondents. The sampling technique used is Krijie Morgen. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: (1) There is a significant influence partially or simultaneously between religiosity, independence, professionalism, family resilience and remuneration on corrupt behavior; (2) The application of "TANGGUH" values as an effort to prevent corrupt behavior through the Sharia Maqashid approach is another alternative to the efforts to prevent corrupt behavior that has existed so far. This research is expected to be useful from a theoretical and practical perspective. One of the benefits of the theory is to increase the insight of academics related to the influence of religiosity, independence, professionalism, family resilience and remuneration on corrupt behavior, while from the practical side, it is to provide advice to agencies in improving more reliable corruption prevention efforts through the internalization of the value of anti-corrupt behavior, namely "TANGGUH" (Resilient in religiosity, Resilient in Remuneration, Resilient in Independence,  Resilient in Professionalism and Resilient in Family Resiliency).

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of teacher competency in utilizing it technology for Indonesian language learning in 3T Madrasahs, Indragiri Hilir Regency by examining teachers’ competencies in utilizing information technology (IT) in Indonesian language learning within 3T (frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped) madrasahs in Indragiri Hilir Regency, Indonesia. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research involved classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis conducted at three madrasahs: MIS Islamiyah, MI Nurul Wathan, and MI Nurul Islam. Thematic analysis was applied to interpret the findings. The results indicate that although several teachers have begun integrating digital tools—such as laptops, projectors, or mobile devices—into their teaching, the overall use of technology remains basic and fragmented. Teachers primarily employ technology for visual presentations rather than for interactive learning. Key inhibiting factors include limited infrastructure, insufficient digital literacy, lack of institutional support, and geographical constraints. However, the study also reveals promising efforts made by teachers, including self-directed learning, informal peer collaboration, and adaptive use of simple technologies. These findings emphasize the need for systemic interventions, such as contextual digital training, provision of adequate infrastructure, and the establishment of a supportive school culture. Strengthening teacher capacity in IT usage is crucial not only for enhancing students’ engagement in Bahasa Indonesia learning but also for achieving equitable digital transformation in remote educational settings.

Abstract

This research explores the application of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Lean Management principles to enhance project performance reporting efficiency at PT Borneo Bara, a coal mining company in South Kalimantan, Indonesia. The coal mining industry faces significant challenges in project management, particularly in maintaining accurate, timely, and standardized reporting systems that are critical for operational decision-making and regulatory compliance. The current manual reporting process at PT Borneo Bara is characterized by inefficiencies, including extended processing times, data inaccuracies, and inconsistent formatting, which collectively hinder effective project monitoring and stakeholder communication. This study employs VSM analysis to systematically identify bottlenecks and waste in the existing reporting workflow. Through comprehensive process mapping and stakeholder interviews, the research identifies key obstacles, including redundant approval processes, manual data entry errors, and lack of standardized templates. A digital reporting system with automated validation and centralized data management is proposed as a solution. Implementation results demonstrate substantial improvements: reporting cycle time decreased from 10.8 days to 5.25 days (a 51.3% reduction), process efficiency increased from 44.1% to 90.5%, and data accuracy improved from low to high levels. These findings validate the effectiveness of VSM and Lean principles in streamlining project report management processes in the mining industry, offering practical implications for operational excellence and digital transformation initiatives.

Abstract

This study examines the responsibilities of the National Land Agency (BPN) regarding overlapping land ownership certificates at the Malang City Land Office. Land is a fundamental need, leading to conflicts over ownership and use. Legal certainty in land rights is essential and is mandated by the Basic Agrarian Law (UUPA) and Government Regulation No. 24 of 1997. However, overlapping certificates often arise due to factors such as bad faith among applicants, lack of awareness among landowners, and errors by land office officials. This research employs empirical legal research methods, using interviews and documentation to analyze the causes and responsibilities of the Malang City Land Office in managing land certificate overlaps. The findings indicate that the office must improve its verification processes and community engagement to prevent future disputes.

Abstract

This research was conducted in East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province, aiming to examine the influence of human resource competitiveness on the welfare of regional contract workers (TK2D). It also compares which mediation variables—education level, skills, or relationships between TK2D and superiors—most dominantly affect their welfare. The study’s title reflects its practical focus on current issues. The research uses a Mixed Method approach with an explanatory sequential design, combining quantitative and qualitative methods conducted in two stages. It also incorporates exploratory and experimental research types. Stratified sampling selected 379 regional contract workers as respondents. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis was performed with WarpPLS 6.0 software. Findings show that skills and employment relations significantly influence HR competitiveness (p<0.05), while education level has an insignificant effect. Employee performance is negatively influenced by skills but positively by organizational aspects. Organizational performance is significantly affected by education level and employee performance (p<0.05). The model explains 76.1% of HR competitiveness variance, 2% of employee performance variance, and 41.7% of organizational performance variance. These results highlight the importance of prioritizing skills development and improving employment relations in regional government policies to enhance both individual welfare and organizational performance within the public sector.

Abstract

Maternal Mortality (MMR) is still a global health problem that needs serious attention. In 2022, Deli Serdang Regency was recorded to have the highest AKI in North Sumatra Province, which was 16 per 42,363 live births. One of the efforts that can be made to reduce this number is by using the Maternal and Child Health Book (KIA). This study aims to analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge of pregnant women and the use of KIA books at the Tanjung Rejo Health Center, Deli Serdang Regency. This study uses an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 100 pregnant women became respondents to the study. Data was collected through questionnaires, then analyzed using the Spearman statistical test. The use of KIA books is assessed through indicators of readability, comprehension, and application of information, while mother's knowledge is measured through the level of mastery of the content of KIA books. The results showed that the majority of pregnant women were at healthy reproductive age (55%), poorly educated (72%), unemployed (89%), and had high parity (56%). Most respondents (73%) fall into the category of poor utilization of KIA books, while 79% have a low level of knowledge. Statistical analysis showed a significant relationship between the level of knowledge of pregnant women and the use of KIA books (p = 0.001). The use of KIA books in pregnant women is significantly influenced by the level of knowledge.
