Abstract

Indramayu Regency has a land area of 209,942 ha, consisting of 115,897 ha of paddy fields, 56,937 ha of non-paddy fields, and 37,108 ha of non-agricultural land. However, in the use of agricultural land, farmers in Indramayu Regency still need direction in the proper use of land for corn crops. Because the average farmer in Indramayu has not paid attention to land suitability and government policies regarding land suitability for corn commodities. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method and uses a matching process (matching) data on the condition of the area with the criteria for land suitability classes compiled using Arc GIS 10.3. The parameters observed were regional characteristics (climate, soil fertility and topography) and criteria for sustainable agriculture (availability of water in the form of rainfall) for maize. The purpose of this research was to determine the suitability of land and the sustainability of corn farming in Indramayu Regency. The results of the analysis of the suitability class of sustainable maize plants in Indramayu Regency with predetermined criteria, obtained results with a very suitable land area (S1) of 0 ha, quite suitable (S2) 89,106 ha, marginally suitable (S3) 26,791 ha not according to (N) an area of 0 ha.

Abstract

One of the main problems associated with hearing loss is chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM). The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of conduction of the auditory ossicles in patients with benign type chronic suppurative otitis media and malignant type otitis. Chronic suppurative media (CSOM) is a chronic infection of the mucosa and periosteum of the middle ear which is characterized by continuous discharge of fluid from the ear canal and perforation of the tympanic membrane. CSOM is divided into two types, namely the safe type or what is called benign and the dangerous or malignant type. Patients suffering from CSOM can experience conductive hearing loss which has a fairly high incidence rate. Chronic suppurative otitis media is one of the most common diseases in the world, especially in developing countries, which if not treated quickly can lead to seriousness. So the researchers wanted to examine the comparison of hearing bone conduction in patients with benign and malignant type of chronic suppurative otitis media. In addition, there are significant differences in the distribution of types of hearing loss between benign and malignant types of Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media (CSOM) patients. The benign type of CSOM is dominated by conductive deafness, while the malignant type of CSOM tends to have conductive and mixed deafness.

Abstract

The research delves into the Special Housing Program for Disaster Victims initiated by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing. Enforced under the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing No. 20 of 2017, this program focuses on providing specialized housing in Pasir Sembung spanning 1.5 hectares. Managed by the Pasir Sembung Village government, the initiative encompasses the construction of 25 housing units. To ensure efficient implementation, adherence to established guidelines is paramount. Nonetheless, the execution of the special housing plan encountered challenges, notably the reluctance of certain beneficiaries to inhabit the provided dwellings. This study endeavours to evaluate the effectiveness of the disaster victim housing program in Pasir Sembung Village, situated within the Cianjur District of Cianjur Regency. Additionally, it seeks to identify the factors that facilitate or impede the program's success. The study draws upon the 2019 Gibson Effectiveness theory as its theoretical framework. Employing a qualitative research approach involving observation, interviews, and data recording, the study concludes that the special housing program's implementation in Pasir Sembung, Cianjur has not achieved optimal results. Evidently, the program has fallen short of meeting the predetermined benchmarks. This research sheds light on the program's limitations and provides insights into enhancing its efficacy, ultimately contributing to the welfare of disaster-affected communities.

Abstract

Human capital stands as a pivotal corporate asset, executing premeditated actions crucial for realizing organizational objectives. Their efficacy forms a linchpin, determining triumph or decline. This study aims to decipher the impact of job-related stress and contentment on turnover inclination, a nexus possibly mediated directly or indirectly through organizational allegiance. Utilizing survey-based research, the study encompasses PT Berca Kawan Sejati's entire workforce, comprising 78 employees, employing a complete enumeration sample. Methodologically, the data analysis embraces Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) utilizing Smart PLS tools. Findings reveal that job stress notably triggers a positive and consequential turnover intention, while also negatively influencing organizational commitment. Conversely, job satisfaction's influence on turnover inclination lacks statistical significance. Interestingly, job satisfaction tangibly drives positive and significant organizational commitment. However, the interplay between job stress, job satisfaction, and turnover intention mediated by organizational commitment does not exhibit statistical significance. Ergo, organizational commitment inadequately mediates the interrelationship between job stress, job satisfaction, and turnover intention. In sum, this study underscores human resource's pivotal role, unveiling intricate dynamics encompassing job stress, job satisfaction, turnover intention, and organizational commitment.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of development expenditure on economic growth in Bima City. The analytical method used in this research is the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. Where OLS linear regression is a linear regression model with the least squares calculation method. This research uses simple linear regression analysis with time series data. Based on the test results, the regression coefficient value obtained for the development expenditure variable is 3.119072 with a calculated t-value of 3.189142 and a probability value of 0.0128, because the probability value is ≤ 0.05, it can be concluded that the amount of development expenditure has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Bima City. The partial regression coefficient value is positive 3.189142 or 318.9%, which means that if development expenditure increases by 1%, economic growth will also increase by 318.9%. If there is a decrease in development spending it will cause economic growth to decline.
