Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the effects of locus of control and time management on academic stress among working students, with peer social support serving as an intervening variable. The study involved 169 working students selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS version 4.1. The analytical procedures included validity and reliability testing, structural model analysis, and testing of direct and indirect effects. The findings indicate that locus of control and time management significantly influence academic stress, both directly and indirectly through peer social support. These results highlight the importance of strengthening personal self-regulation capacities and fostering supportive peer environments to reduce academic stress among working students. Keywords: Social Media Marketing, Store Atmosphere, Brand Image, Repurchase Decision, Loyalty Forsure

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the mechanisms through which digital social proof influences consumer decision-making processes and to identify factors that moderate the strength of this influence. The research employs a qualitative literature study with a content analysis approach, drawing upon various relevant scholarly sources. The findings indicate that digital social proof operates through quantitative mechanisms, such as review volume and popularity metrics, as well as qualitative mechanisms, including information detail and source identity. Consumers actively evaluate the credibility, relevance, and consistency of social proof in relation to their specific needs. The influence of social proof is not uniform across all consumers but is moderated by factors such as product involvement level, consumer expertise, self-confidence, cultural background, age, purchase objectives, and platform credibility. Authentic and consistent social proof demonstrates greater persuasive power than merely quantitative indicators. The practical implications of this study encourage marketers to develop layered and segmented social proof strategies while prioritizing authenticity over quantity. Regulators and digital platforms also need to play an active role in maintaining the authenticity of social evidence to protect consumers from manipulative practices. Keywords: Social Proof, Consumer Decision-Making, Digital Marketing, Online Reviews, Consumer Behavior, Moderator Factors.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and organizational commitment on employee job satisfaction with work motivation as a mediating variable in employees of the Ministry of Population and Family Development of South Sulawesi Province. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population was all 95 employees with a saturated sampling technique so that the entire population was used as a research sample. Data were collected through questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the help of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The analysis included descriptive statistics, measurement model tests (outer model) consisting of validity and reliability tests, and structural model tests (inner model) to examine the relationship between variables. The test results showed that all constructs met the validity and reliability criteria with Cronbach's alpha values above 0.90 and composite reliability above the required limit. The results of the structural analysis showed that transformational leadership and organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on work motivation and job satisfaction. The coefficient of determination indicates that employee job satisfaction can be explained by 0.739 transformational leadership, organizational commitment, and work motivation, while work motivation can be explained by 0.468 transformational leadership and organizational commitment. These findings indicate that increasing employee job satisfaction requires the implementation of effective transformational leadership, strengthening organizational commitment, and continuously increasing work motivation within the organization. Keywords: Transformational Leadership, Organizational Commitment, Work Motivation, Job Satisfaction

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality and electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) on consumer purchasing interest at Kopi Rays in Makassar City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 70 respondents who had visited Kopi Rays. The research instrument used a Likert scale and was analyzed using multiple linear regression methods using IBM SPSS software, accompanied by classical assumption tests, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficients of determination (R²). The results show that product quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer purchasing interest. Electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) also has a positive and significant effect on purchasing interest. Simultaneously, product quality and e-WOM have a significant effect on purchasing interest with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.886, which means that 88.6% of the variation in purchasing interest can be explained by these two variables, while the remaining 11.4% is influenced by other variables outside the study. Overall, this study confirms that consistent improvement in product quality and management of digital communication through positive e-WOM are important strategies in increasing consumer purchasing interest in Kopi Rays in Makassar City.
