Abstract

The development of technology makes education in Indonesia have to adjust the material to be studied by students. The results of observations that have been carried out at SMK Negeri 1 Tambelangan in the Industrial Electronics Engineering expertise program are that there is no learning media for self balancing robots based on ESP 32. The aim of the research is to create learning media for trainers and textbooks for self balancing robots based on ESP32 which are suitable for use include: and textbooks, the practicality of trainers and textbooks in terms of student responses, the level of effectiveness of trainers and textbooks in terms of student learning outcomes. Research and Development (R&D) with a One Shot-Case Study trial design and research subjects, namely 25 students of class XII Industrial Electronics Engineering SMK Negeri 1 Tambelangan, were used as the method of this research. On the validity aspect of the learning media in the form of a trainer it is declared very valid with a value of 91.1%, textbooks are declared valid with a value of 79.5% and instruments are declared valid with a value of 81.3%. In the aspect of trainer practicality, in terms of student responses, it can be stated that it is very practical with a score of 86.6%. In the aspect of effectiveness, the mean value is 78.79 with a value of Sig2.(2-tailed) of 0.000, the t-test after the t test analysis is 7.135 while the ttable is 2.064, then the value of tcount> ttable, meaning reject H0. Thus, the use of the ESP 32-Based Self Balancing Robot Trainer in the Robotic Control System subject for class XII Industrial Electronics Engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Tambelangan can be declared to have a good and proper effect as a learning medium in learning activities.

Abstract

This research is based on the results of observations at SMKN 1 Driyorejo and the problem is that there is no trainer as a practicum tool for students. For this reason, there is a need for learning media that can make students learn independtly. This study aims to (1) to know the eligibility of the automatic door sensor trainer in the microprocessor and microcontroller subjects, (2) Get eligibility automatic door sensor worksheets on microprocessor and microcontroller subjects, (3) find out how much students response about automatic door trainers and jobshets given in Microprosessor and Mikcrocontroler subjects at SMKN 1 Driyorejo academic year 2020/2021.The research and development (R&D).By collecting data using validation sheets given to 3 lecturers of the Electrical Engineering Departements of UNESA and 3 teachers of SMKN 1 Driyorejo as validators.This research consists of 7 stages,namely : (1) the ability analysis stage and problems,(2) the data collection stage, (3) the product design stage , (4) the design validation stage, (5) the design revision stage, (6) the product trial stage and , (7) the data analysis and reporting stage. The results showed that the validity of the trainer was 91.96% and the jobsheet was 81.77%. Meanwhile, the average value of the results of student responses to the audio system installation trainer with 2 aspects, namely the trainer convenience aspect and the display and media qualityaspects, the calculation result was 84.14%. With the data obtained, the Arduino-based Automatic Door trainer is suitable for use.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is a learning model based on the problems experiencedby students during the process of gaining knowledge. This learning model can train students to learnindividually in finding solutions based on existing problems. Thus PBL is a learning model that can beapplied to students in vocational schools. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of thePBL learning model. Judging from the formulation of the problem in this study, which is about how thedescription of the application of the PBL learning model in class X students of the Network ComputerEngineering Expertise Program at SMK Rajasa Surabaya. This research uses descriptive research witha qualitative approach. Data were collected using interview techniques and filling out questionnaires.The data obtained were then analyzed using several stages, namely collecting data, reducing data,presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the application of theProblem Based Learning (PBL) learning model makes class X students in the TKJ department thinkmore critically to solve problems that have been faced, according to the responses from students in code3. Based on the results of interviews in code 5, the PBL model is also able to stimulate students to be more active so that students can express their opinions with confidence. Some of the difficultiesexperienced by students while using the PBL model are the difficulty of finding information to solve theproblems given by the teacher, the basic abilities possessed by students make it difficult to solveproblems. With online learning during the pandemic, the PBL model does not work optimally, so therelationship between students and teachers and relationships between students do not work well.

Abstract

The research was conducted in SMK Negeri 1 Jetis where the learning process requires media so that students can learn independently to support the activities of the practicum. This study uses a learning media that the software proteus. The purpose of this research is: (1) determine differences in student learning outcomes before the application and after the application of learning media software proteus, (2) determine the response of students to the eye pelejaran the application of the electronic circuit. The method of research is Pre-Experimental Design with the shape of the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The technique of data analysis using the t test to determine differences in learning outcomes and student responses using a sheet of the questionnaire. The validation sheet filled by two faculty of Electrical Engineering and one teachers of SMK. This research resulted in the discussion, namely: (1) Differences in learning outcomes of students by using the t test obtained value of 0.000 and the level of significant was set at 0.05 so that the value of 0,000<0,05 means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students before and after the application of learning media software proteus. (2) the Response of students to obtain the average worth 82% of which consists of 3 aspects, namely aspects of interest, the material and the suitability of the efforts of the subjects. So the average is classified in the category of very good for the students ' response to the subjects. Learning Media can be used as effective media so that students do not feel bored with the material being taught.

Abstract

Education is a place for the formation of a quality generation of the nation. Selection of learning media appropriately can increase the quality of learning in students. Microprocessors and microcontrollers are subjects that study software and hardware on computers The purpose of this study was to develop a codevision AVR microcontroller module using professional proteus software in microprocessor and microcontroller subjects for class students XI TEI SMKN 1 Jetis. In this research, the writer used research and development method and also gave pretest and posttest to 30 students. Retrieval of data with module validation sheets and questions that were validated by 2 lecturers majoring in Electrical Engineering and 1 teacher SMKN 1 Jetis which gets a rating of 84.3% for the module and 89.1% for the questions so that it produces a very valid media. Meanwhile, for the results of the analysis of the normality test using SPSS, the sig value is 0.200 for the pretest and 0.200 for the posttest which is normally distributed. In the T test using SPSS, it was obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, so it was stated that there was a significant effect on the differences in the treatment given to each variable.

Abstract

The results of observations made at SMKN 1 Tambelangan showed that the learning media used in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects at SMKN 1 Tambelangan had not yet been updated so a frequency filter trainer was made as a learning aid to support teaching and learning activities. This research on the development of the frequency filter trainer aims to determine the level of media validity, the level of effectiveness through student learning outcomes, and also the level of practicality through student response questionnaires. This study uses the ADDIE type of R&D research method or analyse, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The next stage, after conducting research the results obtained a validity level of 82,93% can be declared very valid. At the level of effectiveness of the learning outcomes of 81,17 it is declared good and exceeds the value of the Minimum Graduation Criteria (KKM) which is set with a value of 70,00. At the level of practicality of the media at 85,44% and stated to be very practical, therefore the development of the frequency filter trainer learning media was declared very suitable for use in Electrical and Electronic Basics (DLE) class X Industrial Electronics Engineering at SMKN 1 Tambelangan.

Abstract

Many studies discuss android-based learning media, but there is no research that specifically discusses troubleshooting on the Arduino IDE. This study aims to create an android-based learning media product by taking the basic competence of troubleshooting input output in the subjects of Microprocessor and Microcontroller Programming Engineering (TPMM). With the learning media called ArduinoID, it is hoped that students can understand more about troubleshooting Arduino IDE, especially on writing errors. This research is a development research that uses the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were 66 students of class X TEI SMKN 1 Driyorejo. This research design uses a one group pretest-posttest design to compare the results before and after treatment. ArduinoID learning media development utilizes an android developer site called Kodular. The results showed that the ArduinoID learning media validation results from 2 lecturers and 2 teachers got a validation value of 89.10% with very good criteria. From the students' responses to the ArduinoID learning media, they got a response of 84.70% with the criteria of strongly agreeing. Then, in testing the effectiveness of learning media using IBM SPSS Statistics 23 Software, ArduinoID obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference (increase) between learning outcomes in pre-test and post-test data. From the various analyzes that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the ArduinoID application is feasible as a learning medium in class X TEI students at SMKN 1 Driyorejo.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education and learning activities in the aspect of disaster mitigation, educational institutions are an important means to help provide students with an understanding of the importance of natural disaster mitigation. Improving the quality of disaster mitigation education can be done by providing students with learning media to improve their understanding of mitigating natural disasters that will occur. The purpose of making trainers disaster mitigation as learning media is an effort to support students' understanding of the importance of natural disaster mitigation. The use of the research & development ADDIE method in this study aims to develop learning media to educate students about disaster mitigation. The data comparison process was carried out using the results of the pretest and posttest by analyzing the learning outcomes of 32 students of SMA Negeri 1 Pulung on geography subjects about landslide disaster mitigation using LSM trainer learning media. Development results Trainer landslide smart mitigation (LSM) obtained a level of validity with average score trainers of 90.54% for, job sheets 87.50% for, and 88.89% for questions, meaning that the research product is very valid to be implemented as a learning medium. Based on analysis of test for normality Kolmogorov-Smirnov gain score significance pretest 0.200 and score significance posttest 0.164 and the results of the t-test analysis obtained a score significance (2-tailed) is 0.000, so the trainer LSM, worksheets, and questions can be said to be effective as a means of support. The practicality of trainers LSM and job sheets are known from the answers to the questionnaire responses of 32 students with an average score of 84.76%, meaning that learning using trainers LSM and job sheets is very practical as a learning medium.

Abstract

Installation of electric motors is the most important part in the industrial environment and the environment around the house. Installing an electric motor is very dangerous if there is a wrong connection of the cable and it can be fatal for human safety. During the Covid-19 pandemic, schools must go online to avoid the corona virus. While doing online, many SMK students do not understand the components of the electric motor installation, due to the absence of a practicum to facilitate learning. This study aims to determine student learning outcomes using Augmented Reality applications when online learning is carried out. This study uses a PreExperimental Design research method with a One-shot Case Study model. The subjects of this study were students of class XI SMK PGRI 1 SURABAYA Electrical Power Utilization Engineering class with 25 students. The results of the posttest test carried out by students the data obtained with an average value of 86.2 and a standard deviation of 5.05. The normality test of the data is not normally distributed. Results of data analysis with a significance level > 0.05 is 0.005, so the data is not normally distributed. For data that cannot be normally distributed using the nonparametric test and binomial test, the results of data analysis are 0.043 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It was concluded that the average student learning outcomes on the component material of the electric motor installation were not equal to 75 or more than the KKM value of 75.
