Abstract

Extension workers in farmer groups in Malenos Baru Village, East Amurang District, South Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted from August to September 2021. The data collected in this study were primary data obtained from extension workers and respondent farmers through interviews using questionnaires and secondary data obtained from literature from the relevant agency, the Agriculture Service of South Minahasa Regency. and the New Malenos Village Office and related literature. Sampling was done by purposive sampling (deliberately) as many as 15 samples. The results of this research showed that the role of agricultural extension workers in farmer groups in Malenos Baru Village, East Amurang District, South Minahasa Regency was categorized as quite good. This is proven based on the results of the study with the interpretation of the value of 62.88 percent which is included in the fairly good category.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze community-based spatial planning strategies in the sustainable development of Lake Tondano, Minahasa Regency. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method which aims to describe the systematics, accuracy, accuracy, conditions and potentials including spatial problems in the management of sustainable development of Lake Tondano in Minahasa Regency. The sample used in this study amounted to 30 people with a sampling technique that is purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out by means of interviews, questionnaires and documentation which were analyzed using SWOT analysis, namely identifying external factors and internal factors regarding community-based spatial planning in the sustainable development of Lake Tondano in Minahasa Regency. The results of this study indicate that in the spatial planning process for the sustainable development of Lake Tondano in Minahasa Regency, there is no policy or local government regulation that specifically regulates it. The priority strategy in order to organize community-based space in the sustainable development of Lake Tondano, Minahasa Regency is to formulate a policy on spatial planning for saving and managing Lake Tondano.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and describe the social capital (trust, norms, networks, reciprocal relationships) in the up-and-coming rice paddy farmer group in Tawaang Barat Village, Tenga District, South Minahasa Regency. The sampling method used is purposive sampling. The data used in this study is primary data supported by observations and questionnaires and secondary data. The results showed that the Suka Maju Farmer Group had high social capital, namely regarding trust, social norms, social networks, and reciprocal relationships with a social capital index of 78.43%. Group members assume that social capital is indispensable in social life, especially in farming and social capital must be continuously developed so that it becomes one of the cultures in an organization or society so that it can further strengthen the relationship between fellow farmers in farming.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the break even point of potato farming in Manembo Village, East Passi District. This research was carried out for three months from July 2021 to September 2021. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data then descriptively analyzed. The results showed that at the prevailing price level and the production results achieved, potato farmers in Manembo Village earned an income of IDR 5,105 256 in one planting. The break-even point (BEP value) of potato farming in one planting in Manembo Village was achieved at a value of IDR 2,529 /kg. The amount of production that must be obtained by potato farmers in Manembo Village in order to break even is 57 sacks at a price level of Rp. In other words, the minimum price of Potatoes in Manembo Village is Rp. 2.529 at a production level of 26.47 kg. Production can be increased by carrying out more intensive management of potato farming.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the Implementation of the Refocusing Policy on the Village Budget for Fiscal Year 2020 in Kawangkoan Barat District, Minahasa Regency, especially in Kayuuwi Satu Village, Kanonang Lima Village and Tombasian Bawah Village. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The data used are primary data and secondary data, data collected through interview and documentation mechanisms. The data were analyzed qualitatively by going through 4 (four) stages, including: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the Central Government's policy of making the village expenditure revenue budget to assist in handling the impact of Covid-19 in the village is appropriate and there is a need for other programs besides providing assistance to the community. In addition, the understanding of the size and purpose of the policy of refocusing the village income and expenditure budget in the 3 villages that are the focus of the research is good and understood by implementing actors in the field.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the Break Even Point of clove farming in Buyat I Village, Kotabunan Sub-District, East Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research was carried out for approximately 1 month from March 2021 to April 2021. The population in this study were clove farmers in Buyat I Village, Kotabunan Sub-District, East Bolaang Mongondow Regency who cultivated cloves from 1980 with a total of 98 clove farmers and 40 landowners. The sampling process was carried out by simple random sampling method. The total sample of this study was 20, half of the population of land-owning farmers. The analysis used is the break-even point analysis. The results of this study indicate that the total production in Buyat I Village is 14,953 Kg. The total revenue from clove farming in one harvest is Rp. 1,147,230,000. The total cost incurred by clove farming in one harvest is Rp. 331,599,000. The BEP in units (TR=TC) of clove farming in Buyat I Village is 474 kg. BEP in Rupiah (TR = TC) clove farming in Buyat I Village in one harvest is Rp. 18,439.993.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the profit of vegetable traders in East Malalayang Satu Sub-District, Malalayang District, Manado City. The research period is two months from January 2021 to February 2021. The data used in this study are primary data obtained by direct interviews with vegetable traders and secondary data obtained from the sub-district government. Sampling used the purposive sampling method, or the sampling technique was deliberately chosen to only 3 (three) traders selling their wares around the East Malalayang Satu Sub-District, Malalayang District, Manado City. The data obtained in this study were analyzed using descriptive analysis and presented in tabular form. To find out the income of mobile vegetable traders using income analysis. Based on the results of the study, the profit from selling vegetables by mobile vegetable traders who trade around the East Malalayang Satu Sub-District in one day is an average of Rp. 133.003.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline and motivation on employee performance at the Tourism Office of North Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted from October to November 2021. The research method used was a quantitative method with an explanatory approach. Samples were taken as many as 63 respondents. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis and uses questionnaire data sourced from respondents and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the variables of work discipline and motivation have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. The percentage value of the independent variable on the dependent variable has a coefficient of determination of the stimulus (R Squere) of 0.743. This means that the rise and fall of the dependent variable, namely employee performance (Y) at the Regional Tourism Office of North Sulawesi Province is influenced by the independent variable, namely work discipline (X1) and motivation (X2) by 73.4% while the remaining 26.6 is influenced by factors others that were not investigated in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much time women work in horticultural farming (leeks) in Pinasungkulan Village, Modoinding Sub-District. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The sampling method was carried out by purposive sampling, namely the sample was taken intentionally. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and presented in tabular form. The results showed that women's working time in scallion horticulture farming in Pinasungkulan village was 339 hours. 12 hours were spent on tillage activities, 96 hours spent on planting activities, 84 hours spent on weeding activities, 30 hours spent on pest and disease control activities, 45 hours spent on fertilizing activities and 72 hours spent on harvesting activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the profits of palm sugar business in Wanga Village, East Motoling District, South Minahasa Regency. This research was carried out from November 2020 to May 2021. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling method, namely 10 respondents from 287 palm sugar farmers in Wanga Village. Data was collected through observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis used in this research is quantitative analysis, namely business profit analysis. The results showed that the large profits and R/C value obtained by all palm sugar processors when calculated with raw materials and labor, processors experienced losses. Meanwhile, if it is not calculated with raw materials and labor, processors experience large profits.
