Abstract

Generally, stunting is only associated with health issues. However, there are also gender-related problems within it. In fact, the primary role is actually held by men. In Indonesia, men are still formally designated as heads of households and are obligated to provide for their families. Therefore, policies on stunting should ideally not be directed solely at women but also at men. The purpose of this writing is to identify and analyze how gender equality and inequality are reflected in the implementation of Presidential Regulation Number 72 of 2021 on Accelerating Stunting Reduction. This background is due to the high stunting rates in Indonesia. The government and stakeholders are expected to implement policies to address this issue. Efforts range from policies on preventing and reducing stunting rates to accelerating the reduction of stunting in Indonesia, all aimed at tackling this issue comprehensively. Much of the focus, however, is directed toward women, as stunting is often closely associated with them. Yet, the failure of a child to grow (stunting) and child malnutrition are not solely women’s issues—men’s roles are also critical. For this reason, this research was conducted. The method used is a normative legal research method. The findings indicate that gender equality in the efforts to accelerate stunting reduction in Indonesia has not yet been fully achieved.

Abstract

The increasingly massive use of information and communication technology has raised concerns about protecting personal data in the era of big data which can harm individuals. Big Data as a form of technological development has not been balanced with developments in legal regulations, so there is no harmony between the use of Big Data and legal regulations related to the protection of personal data. Regulations related to the protection of personal data that already exist in Indonesia cannot guarantee and protect confidentiality and overcome the problem of protecting citizens' personal data. This is because the existing regulations are still general, partial and sectoral so they cannot guarantee optimal legal certainty for the protection of personal data. Therefore, it is important for Indonesia to have special regulations regarding the protection of personal data. Strengthening personal data protection is a necessity in the big data era, therefore, it is necessary to improve relevant laws and regulations, Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection. is the newest and most comprehensive regulation and is effective in protecting personal data in the big data era if it is implemented consistently and supported by an effective independent supervisory institution for Personal Data Protection, to ensure personal data is processed in a legal and responsible manner. Apart from that, educational efforts and increasing public awareness are needed about the importance of protecting personal data.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the application of the inquiry method in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SDN 011 Sangatta Utara, East Kutai Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study-type data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The research focuses on students in grades IV and V, consisting of 30-35 students per class. The results of the study show that the application of the inquiry method at SDN 011 Sangatta Utara has started to run well, where the teacher acts as a facilitator in guiding students through the stages of inquiry such as asking stimulating questions, conducting investigations, and repeating the results. Students actively participate in the learning process, especially in group discussions and presentations. However, some students still have difficulty understanding abstract concepts and need more intensive guidance from the teacher. The main obstacles found in implementing the inquiry method include time constraints, varying student abilities, and limitations in supporting facilities such as internet access. However, the inquiry method has been proven to have a positive impact on increasing students' understanding of PAI concepts and critical thinking skills. This research suggests the need for improved facilities and additional guidance for students who need it so that the application of inquiry methods can be more optimal.

Abstract

In the preparation of production planning, the goal to be achieved is not only one. Roti Sultan Meriah is a small and medium enterprise engaged in the production of bread. Roti Sultan Meriah aims to meet market demand and must also consider the costs used during the production process so that the profit obtained is maximized. In this study, the solution to the problem was solved by using the application of the goal programming method where this method can solve more than one goal, unlike in linear programming. The goal programming method used is a model with goal priority. The goal programming method with goal priority allows Roti Sultan Meriah to optimize various aspects of production simultaneously, such as meeting market demand, minimizing costs, and maximizing profits. This approach allows the company to prioritize these goals, so that it can make better decisions in production planning. By using this method, Roti Sultan Meriah can increase its operational efficiency and competitiveness in the competitive bread market. The results of this study obtained an optimal solution, namely the achievement of the sales volume target, production costs that do not exceed the target limit of Rp. 27,511,230, - and the profit target is achieved, namely Rp. 98,764,373, - for a period of one year

Abstract

Law plays an important role in development. Law is essential to form a framework to achieve fair and sustainable development goals. Without an adequate legal system, development will be vulnerable to uncertainty. In addition, in a legal climate full of uncertainty, it is full of potential conflicts and abuse of community rights. Ultimately, the threat of development failure will become more real. Likewise, in the context of economic recovery, the role of law is very important, at least it can be used as a momentum to be able to display law with its corrective role, correcting and improving the behavior (especially) of state administrators and various policies that can affect the economic sector. The corrective role of law at least covers areas that can support development and welfare, such as economic stability, social, Human Rights and a sustainable environment (sustainability). Law also plays an important role in ensuring social justice and equal distribution of welfare in the midst of the economic development process. In addition, a strong legal system can create a conducive investment climate by providing certainty and protection for business actors. Furthermore, effective law can encourage innovation and creativity in the economic sector by protecting intellectual property rights and supporting healthy business competition. The law also has an important function in regulating and supervising the financial sector, including banking and capital markets, to prevent detrimental practices and maintain the stability of the financial system. In addition, the role of law in economic recovery includes providing a regulatory framework that supports the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly industries.

Abstract

This study analyzes the framing of news coverage regarding the role of bystanders in the bullying case involving Mario Dandy on the Detik.com news site. The study aims to understand how this news coverage is positioned in the media and how media framing can influence public perception of the event. The method used is framing analysis with Robert Entman's approach, which consists of four main elements: problem definition, interpretation of consequences, moral evaluation, and recommended actions. The results show that the coverage on Detik.com tends to focus on the psychological impact on the victim and criticizes the passive behavior of the bystanders who did not intervene in the bullying incident. This study provides insights into how media can influence public views on social phenomena, particularly in relation to bullying and the role of bystanders.
