Abstract

The strategic position of Indonesia's borders on the one hand can be a potential for cooperation between countries, but on the other hand it can be a threat to state defence and security. One form of potential that can turn into a serious threat is that there are still a number of border segments that have not been discussed and agreed with neighbouring countries. Abstract

Development in border areas and outer islands is very significant, considering that the border area, has considerable natural resource potential, is a very strategic area for the defence of state security and can be used as a security fortress at the front door of the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, but in reality the development of border areas. especially the Tanimbar Islands Regency, which can be implemented by the government and the Army in increasing regional resilience so that border areas and outer islands in the 1507 / Saumlaki Kodim area. can become the ‘front porch’ of the Republic of Indonesia. This paper uses a qualitative descriptive method, with a literature approach. To analyse existing data in building a strategy concept using the SWOT Analysis Method. Strategies that can be carried out to build the resilience of border areas include the preparation of RT / RW that reach the border areas of the country, improving the quality of human resources, building facilities and infrastructure, bringing the title of Army units closer to the border area and empowering border security posts to assist local governments in improving community welfare.

Abstract

Salah satu fungsi yang dilaksanakan oleh prajurit TNI AD untuk mendukung pelaksanaan tugas pokoknya adalah melaksanakan fungsi pembinaan teritorial (Binter). Tugas pokok TNI AD sendiri terdiri dari OMP (Operasi Militer Perang) dan OMSP (Operasi Militer Selain Perang). Salah satu faktor keberhasilan satuan tempur dalam pelaksanaan tugas pokok adalah melalui pembinaan teritorial terbatas yang salah satu motodenya adalah komunikasi sosial. Dalam Komsos TNI-AD tidak hanya menyampaikan informasi atau melakukan kegiatan , tetapi juga juga mendengarkan dan merespon umpan balik dari Masyarakat, dan dengan ini akan lebih bisa dipahami kebutuhan dan harapan Masyarakat. Sesuai Bujuknik Binter TNI-AD, bahwa komunikasi sosial adalah upaya, pekerjaan dan kegiatan satuan TNI AD bertujuan untuk penyampaian pikiran dan pandangannya yang terkait dengan pemberdayaan wilayah pertahanan di darat yang meliputi wilayah pertahanan dan pendukungnya serta membangun, memelihara, meningkatkan dan memantapkan kemanunggalan TNI-Rakyat. Banyak fakta yang memperlihatkan keberhasilan satuan tempur di daerah operasi yang degan mudah menaklukan lawan-lawan hanya dengan pendekatan-pendekatan sosial sehingga lawan akhirnya dapat menyerah dan kembali bergabung dengan NKRI. Bahkan tak jarang banyak separatis bersenjata yang dengan suka rela menyerahkan senjatanya kepada prajurit TNI AD tanpa melalui kontak senjata. Seperti yang diberitakan oleh Jayapura, Kompas.TV - Mantan Panglima Organisasi Papua Merdeka Lambert Pakikir menyerahkan enam pucuk senjata api kepada Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih pada 1 Mei 2023 lalu, Mayjen TNI Muhammad Saleh Mustafa.[1] Tentu dapat dipahami bahwa tidak mungkin sorang mantan Panglima Operasi dengan serta merta menyerahkan senjata kepada TNI tanpa ada proses. Abstract

According to the standards contained in the Military Academy, all cadets of the Military Academy including cadets Level II/Sertar are required to have a good basic tripola, ranging from qualified academics, good personality and excellent physical fitness. However, in the implementation in the field, there are still found some cadets Level II / Sertar who have problems in the physical field, especially the value of the physical freshness Test (TKJ). Based on the data from the TKJ results of the first semester of Sergeant cadets in 2023, there were 190 cadets who received TKJ grades with very good predicates (BS), 221 Cadets with good predicates (B), 13 cadets could not participate in activities due to illness, and 1 Cadet who did not graduate or did not meet the requirements set by the institution. In addition to the data already mentioned, there are 13 cadets whose pull-up value is below 10 movements (below the standard set by the adult Cadet Battalion). The purpose of this study was to convey concepts and ideas after the management of Management, Management effort constraints Pasipamops in increasing the value of physical freshness Test Sergeant cadets in Battalion cadets adults. research method is defined as a scientific way to obtain data with a specific purpose and usefulness. In addition, the research method is a way to conduct an investigation using certain ways that have been determined to obtain scientific truth, so that later the research can be accounted for. Advise the battalion commander of adult cadets through Pasipamops Battalion of adult cadets in order to provide a measurable and targeted physical refresher training schedule to the sergeant cadets and reschedule the physical refresher training schedule.

Abstract

The existence of the territorial command function placed in each city and district area to fulfil what is expected so far for the love of the homeland, so this research was conducted with the aim of knowing the role of Kodim 0705 / Magelang among the younger generation and what obstacles faced by Kodim 0705 / Magelang personnel and other small territorial ranks that can hinder the course of increasing nationalism in the younger generation among these students. Another goal is to find out what efforts are implemented by Kodim 0705/Magelang in increasing nationalism among these students. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques using interview methods, observation and documentation. The results of the study explain that the role of Kodim 0705/Magelang in improving nationalism among students is quite good, especially at SMK Ma`arif Ngluwar Magelang, although there are obstacles that hinder, regarding coordination problems between babinsa and the school, communication problems. The problem can be solved by working together between the school and the Kodim unit. So that the implementation of national insight that will be given by the military personnel is carried out well and there are no problems.

Abstract

Despite Indonesia's strategic position, serious operationalisation of cross-border governance has not been placed as a top priority. In fact, the ability of a good state management (governability) can be seen from how the border area is managed. In most cases in our country, border areas not only lack the attention of the central government, the purpose of this research study is to find out the management of the border area of North Central Timor district after the release of East Timor from Indonesia. The method we use is a qualitative method so that the author collects data by utilising existing facilities at Akmil, namely the Internet, Akmil library, informants namely Akmil personnel who have served in the border area of North East Timor. It was agreed by the two countries to seek the establishment of development that can be jointly utilised by the two countries and border communities regarding economic welfare, security education and defence.

Abstract

Information technology continues to develop along with the changing times. In the military service, the benefits of information and communication technology are very pronounced, as seen in the daily tasks of the Army Information and Data Processing Service Personnel, where computers are their main tool. This research aims to analyze the influence of the development of information and communication technology on the implementation of TNI tasks. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The results show that the development of information and communication technology (ICT) has a significant impact on the implementation of TNI tasks. However, in addition to the benefits, rapid technological progress also brings negative impacts, including deviations in behavior, ethics, norms, and morals due to unwise use. Thus, the positive impact of technology is highly dependent on how it is used
