This research was carried out to determine the factors that influence telecommunications equipment, ship crew resources, ship seaworthiness and pilotage of cruisers at Bukit Batu port. Data collection was carrie d o ut th r o u gh observation, literature study, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Th is research uses a non-probability sampling technique, namely the ce ns u s me th o d . The data analysis used in this research is descriptive and quantitative analysis. The data is analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of th e Statistical Pack age For Social (SPSS) version 25 software. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the research model of the multiple linear regression equation is Y= -0.219 + 0.308.X1 + 0.200.X2 + 0,192.X3 + 0.349. X4 + µ. Where the variables Safety (Y), Telecommunication Equipment (X1), Crew Resources (X2), Ship Seaworthiness (X3) and Guidance (X4) were tested using the t test showing that the four independent variables partially have a significan t influence on consumer decisions as the dependent variable. The Adjusted R Square figure of 0.837 shows that 83.7 percent of consumer decision variables can be explained through the four independent variables in the regression equation. Meanwhile, the remaining 16.3 percent is explained by other variables outside the four variables used in this research.

Abstract

The main Tanjung Priok Port Authority (OP) is the technical implementing unit as well as the highest coordinator at the port, having an important role in accelerating activities at the port. The Port Authority is within the Ministry of Transportation and is responsible to the Director General of Sea Transportation. The functions of the Port Authority include regulating, controlling and supervising port activities. To be able to integrate system services at ports, the Ministry of Transportation applies a system, namely the Inaportnet system. Inaportnet is an internet-based electronic service system to integrate standard port information systems in physically serving ships from all agencies and stakeholders at the port. Inaportnet is the leading solution for port services, where the acceleration of data exchange between stakeholders at the port can be done quickly, in order to minimize time and have an impact on speeding up ship services at the port. The performance of employees at the main Port Authority office is a concrete action in carrying out the work that has been given by government agencies. Every government agency always expects its employees to have work performance which will later provide optimal contributions to government agencies. In addition to providing an optimal contribution, it will improve the performance of government agencies. Broadly speaking, the continuity of a government agency is influenced by the performance of its employees. Employee performance has a very important role in running the organization. Employee performance is required to work seriously with their abilities to achieve good work results.

Abstract

Ships with efficient port time reflect success in various aspects such as port operations, including time management, coordination between related parties, readiness of facilities and equipment, and workforce reliability. These efficiencies not only benefit port operators and shipping companies, but also contribute to smooth logistics supply chains, lower costs and increase economic competitiveness. Researchers determine 2 (two) types of data, namely secondary data and primary data, which will be processed through interviews and literature. By knowing each of the port time components above, we can understand the key to increasing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring smooth port and ship operations. Process optimization at each stage of port time implemented can help ports and shipping companies achieve competitive advantage and increase customer satisfaction Keywords: , , ,

Abstract

Ship accidents are still a problem in the maritime industry even though the BRM training program has been implemented since 2011. Analysis of several incidents noted that the human error factor was ranked highest. SA as an important aspect in BRM has not been applied properly as a related cause of the incident. For this reason, this study aims to foster and deepen the understanding of SA to the Ship's Crew and then apply it in BRM so that navigation safety is always maintained and similar incidents do not occur in the future. The study used a literature study method, by exploring references to maritime publications, previous journals, books and relevant sources. The results of the study, SA can be formed by mobilizing all five senses well combined with an understanding of the surrounding environment and experience. SA consists of 3 levels, each of which is interrelated and continuous, namely; Perception (Level 1), Understanding (Level 2) and Projection (level 3).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the reliability and performance of Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes using the Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and Inherent Availability (IA) methods. The MTTR method is used to measure the average time required for repairs, while MTBF calculates the average time between failures. Meanwhile, the IA method assesses the inherent availability of the equipment based on the previous two parameters. The results indicate that some RTG units experience high MTTR, such as RTG035-12, which recorded a repair time of 124.15 hours in January, and RTG035-13 with 441.23 hours in February. On the other hand, RTG035-19 demonstrated more stable performance with low MTTR in several months. In terms of MTBF, RTG035-16 recorded the lowest value of 0 hours in July, indicating significant disruptions, whereas RTG035-12 exhibited the best performance with the highest MTBF of 614 hours in December. The IA analysis revealed that some RTGs had low values, such as RTG035-13, which only reached 0.312 in February, while RTG035-19 maintained values above 0.95 throughout the year, demonstrating high reliability. This study provides insights into the performance of RTG equipment at the Semarang Container Terminal (TPKS) and emphasizes the need for effective maintenance strategies to enhance operational reliability and efficiency.

Abstract

The procedures for cargo ship clearance in and out at Weda Port, Central Halmahera, managed by PT Pelayaran Bahtera Diserindo, play a vital role in ensuring efficient port operations and regulatory compliance. The clearance-in process consists of several steps that cargo ships must complete before entering the port, including document verification, health inspections, and adherence to security protocols. On the other hand, the clearance-out process involves procedures that must be completed before a ship departs, such as submitting shipping documents and undergoing cargo inspections. This study aims to examine these procedures, identify the challenges faced, and propose recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of clearance processes at Weda Port. By utilizing the latest data and statistics, this research also emphasizes the significant role of PT Pelayaran Bahtera Diserindo in facilitating logistics operations in North Maluku. The findings are expected to provide a comprehensive understanding of the existing procedures and their impact on Indonesia's maritime industry.

Abstract

been resolved in Indonesia. This research aims to determine the influence of Port Services, Loading and Unloading Performance, Loading and Unloading Equipment and Natural Factors on Idle Time at the Koja Container Terminal, Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta. The population in this study were operational employees and ship crew from the deck department division. The sample used in this research was 80 respondents. And using a disproportionate stratified random sampling technique, then the data was analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) Version 25. Based on the research results and data analysis, the regression equation was produced: Y= -1.176+ 0.334X1+ 0.181X2 + 0.318X3 + 0.302X4+ . From the equation it is known that the dominant variable influencing Idle Time is the Port Services variable with a regression coefficient of 0.334. The R2 (R square) test obtained a result of (67%), which means that Idle Time at the Koja Container Terminal, Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta, is influenced by the variables Port Service, Loading and Unloading Performance, Loading and Unloading Equipment and Natural Factors, namely 67%. The conclusion is that the independent variables (port services, loading and unloading performance, loading and unloading equipment, and natural factors) have a negative and significant effect on the dependent variable Idle Time. This is because the results of the multiple linear regression equation show that t count > t table.
