Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, infrastructure, natural tourism attractions, and facilities on visitors’ decisions to visit Serambi Deli Beach, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, with Community-Based Tourism (CBT) serving as a moderating variable. This research employs an associative quantitative approach with a total of 71 respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results indicate that all four independent variables have a positive and significant effect on visit decisions, both partially and simultaneously. CBT strengthens the influence of service quality, infrastructure, tourism attractions, and facilities on visit decisions. The findings emphasize that enhancing local community participation is crucial for improving the quality of tourism at Serambi Deli Beach.

Abstract

This research investigates the determinants of company value within the Energy and Basic Materials sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021-2023. It examines the impact of Carbon Emission Disclosure (CES), Green Innovation (IH), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), Eco-efficiency (EFI), and Environmental Performance (KL) on Tobin's Q as a measure of company value. The analysis, employing panel data regression with a Fixed Effect Model (FEM), reveals that while ESG, EFI, and KL positively influence company value, CES has a negative impact, and IH shows an insignificant effect. These findings provide insights for companies aiming to enhance their market value by prioritizing environmental and social responsibility.

Abstract

The global awareness of sustainability encompassing economic, social, and environmental aspects has fundamentally shifted corporate paradigms. Organizational sustainability is no longer seen as achievable through business strategy and technology alone but is critically dependent on how human resources are managed. This study aims to analyze the role of Sustainable Human Resource Management (Sustainable HRM) in realizing organizational sustainability. Using a descriptive analysis method, this research synthesizes and examines the theoretical foundations and practical applications of Sustainable HRM. The results indicate that Sustainable HRM, which integrates the principles of the Triple Bottom Line into HR practices, acts as a key facilitator for a sustainability culture, develops sustainable leadership, and aligns employee values with long-term organizational goals. Key practices distinguishing it from conventional HRM include Green HRM initiatives, promoting employee well-being and diversity, and fostering competency development for long-term employability. However, implementation faces challenges such as a lack of top management awareness and resistance to change. Conversely, it offers significant opportunities, including enhanced corporate reputation, increased employee engagement, and long-term resilience. The study concludes that Sustainable HRM is a strategic imperative for organizations seeking comprehensive and enduring sustainability.

Abstract

Sustainable leadership has gained increasing attention as organizations seek to balance economic performance with social and environmental responsibilities. This study examines the relationship between sustainable leadership and sustainable human resource management (HRM) practices. Drawing on the sustainability and leadership literature, this research investigates how leaders who emphasize long-term value creation, ethical behavior, and stakeholder engagement influence the adoption of sustainable HRM practices, including employee development, well-being, fairness, and environmental responsibility. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from employees across various organizations and analyzed using statistical techniques to test the proposed relationships. The findings indicate that sustainable leadership has a significant and positive effect on sustainable HRM practices. Leaders who demonstrate sustainability-oriented values and behaviors are more likely to foster HRM practices that support employee sustainability and organizational resilience. This study contributes to the growing body of literature on sustainability by highlighting the critical role of leadership in promoting sustainable HRM practices. Practically, the results suggest that organizations should develop sustainable leadership competencies to strengthen their human resource strategies and achieve long-term sustainability goals..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect influence of Turnover Intention and Employee Work Productivity on Supply Chain Management (SCM) Effectiveness. SCM effectiveness is measured through the dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, flexibility, cost, and asset management. The population in this study consists of operational and managerial employees in the logistics/distribution sector. A sample of 150 respondents was taken using purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results show that: (1) Turnover Intention has a negative and significant relationship with Work Productivity; (2) Turnover Intention has a negative and significant relationship with SCM Effectiveness; (3) Work Productivity has a positive and significant relationship with SCM Effectiveness; and (4) Work Productivity partially mediates the relationship between Turnover Intention and SCM Effectiveness. These findings imply that management needs to implement employee retention and productivity enhancement strategies to maintain optimal supply chain performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the legal basis for public services and the State Civil Apparatus, as well as the implementation of the One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) at the Mandailing Natal District Attorney's Office Branch in Natal. This study uses a normative research method with a legislative and conceptual approach, while data is collected through a literature review of laws, technical regulations, institutional documents, scientific journals, and other relevant literature. The focus of the research is directed at examining Law Number 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services and Law Number 20 of 2023 concerning State Civil Apparatus as a normative framework that regulates the principles of transparency, accountability, professionalism, and good governance in the provision of public services. The results of the study indicate that normatively, both laws have provided a strong foundation for the implementation of a quality PTSP and are oriented towards improving legal services. However, the implementation of PTSP at the Mandailing Natal District Attorney's Office Branch still faces several obstacles, including limited human resources, less than optimal use of information technology, inadequate service facilities, and weak guarantees of certainty regarding service time and costs. Furthermore, the non-issuance of a Government Regulation as the implementing regulation for the 2023 Civil Servant Law creates legal uncertainty that could potentially hinder the consistency of the service system. Overall, this study concludes that while the One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) has had a positive impact on service effectiveness, regulatory improvements, increased human resource capacity, and facility optimization are needed to ensure more professional, efficient, and integrated public services within the prosecutor's office.
