Abstract

To analyze the impact of service quality and price on customer satisfaction at Salon Waxinc PIK. This study employed a quantitative approach, utilizing purposive sampling of 125 Salon Waxinc PIK customers aged 17-60 who receive treatments at least monthly, and analyzed questionnaire data using Smart-PLS with a Likert scale to examine the relationship between variables. The study’s findings indicate that both service quality and pricing strategies significantly enhance customer satisfaction at Salon Waxinc PIK, suggesting that improvements in service delivery can lead to increased customer loyalty. Additionally, the positive perception of pricing reinforces the importance of aligning pricing strategies with customer expectations to foster repeat business and strengthen the salon’s competitive position in the market. While previous studies have explored the general relationship between service quality, price, and customer satisfaction in the beauty industry, this study distinguishes itself by uniquely examining these factors within the specific context of Salon Waxinc PIK, a niche waxing salon, and specifically within the post-pandemic environment. The research demonstrates that both enhanced service quality, particularly employee performance, and strategic pricing are crucial for driving customer satisfaction in this niche beauty industry.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the influence of service quality, price, and perceived value on customer satisfaction among users of the Jabodebek LRT at Jatimulya Station. Given the increasing usage of the Jabodebek LRT and the reported dissatisfaction among customers regarding service quality, particularly at Jatimulya Station, the study aims to identify the key factors that contribute to customer satisfaction. The research employed a quantitative methodology with a comparative causality approach, focusing on the influence of service quality, price, and perceived value on customer satisfaction among users of the Jabodebek LRT at Jatimulya Station, utilizing a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with SmartPLS software to assess the relationships between the variables and ensure the validity and reliability of the measurement models. The findings of the research indicate that all three variables—service quality, price, and perceived value—significantly influence customer satisfaction among users of the Jabodebek LRT at Jatimulya Station. The novelty of the research lies in its focus on the specific context of the Jabodebek LRT at Jatimulya Station, addressing the unique challenges and customer feedback related to service quality, pricing, and perceived value. This study is among the first to systematically analyze these factors and their direct impact on customer satisfaction in this newly operational mass transit system, providing valuable insights for future improvements.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of Social Media Marketing and Brand Awareness on the decision to purchase New Balance brand shoes, and this study focuses on New Balance shoe consumers. A quantitative methodology is employed in this study, utilizing a cluster sampling technique to gather data from a minimum of 96 respondents through questionnaires distributed via Google Forms, with the analysis conducted using Smart PLS SEM software to explore the relationships between service quality, price, perceived value, and customer satisfaction. Social media marketing significantly influences both purchasing decisions and brand awareness for New Balance shoe products, confirming the hypotheses that higher engagement and effectiveness in social media marketing lead to increased consumer purchasing behavior and brand recognition. Additionally, brand awareness itself has a substantial impact on purchase decisions, suggesting that as consumers become more aware of and familiar with the brand, they are more likely to choose it when making purchasing decisions, thereby highlighting the interconnected roles of social media marketing and brand awareness in driving consumer behavior. The novelty of this research lies in its comprehensive examination of the interconnected relationships between social media marketing, brand awareness, and purchasing decisions specifically within the context of New Balance shoes. While previous studies have explored these variables in isolation, this research uniquely integrates them to demonstrate how effective social media marketing not only enhances brand awareness but also directly influences consumer purchasing behavior.

Abstract

This article examines the role of law as an instrument of social engineering within the framework of sociological jurisprudence, focusing on its application in the Indonesian legal system. The study employs a normative juridical approach with conceptual, historical, and comparative methods to analyze how legal structures can influence social transformation. Findings indicate that while the theoretical foundation aligns with Indonesia’s aspiration for justice and reform, practical implementation often lacks systemic integration and responsiveness to societal needs. By mapping these gaps, the research proposes a conceptual framework for enhancing the law’s role in achieving equitable and adaptive legal reform. This contribution bridges classical legal theory with the realities of Indonesia’s legal development, highlighting the importance of aligning philosophical ideals with practical governance.

Abstract

This study examines several problems that arise in the establishment of BPI Danantara, such as the urgency of establishing BPI Danantara, the objectives of Danantara's legal policy, and the the strengths and weaknesses of establishing BPI Danantara. The writing method used in this writing is normative legal analysis. The study finds that the establishment of BPI Danantara is urgently needed to accelerate economic growth, eradicate extreme poverty, and fund downstream programs, yet its success hinges on upholding good governance, transparency, professional management, and the development of clear implementing regulations for investment management. The novelty lies in the proposed establishment of BPI Danantara as a strategic entity to address critical national economic goals, specifically through direct capital injection into downstream programs, a function previously reliant on foreign investment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Danantara, Indonesia’s sovereign wealth fund, in national economic reform through the lens of distributive justice, particularly based on John Rawls’ theory. Using a normative legal method supported by conceptual and statutory approaches, the research examines Danantara’s legal framework and investment practices through literature and legal documents. The findings reveal that Danantara’s current institutional design lacks sufficient safeguards for transparency, public participation, and equitable benefit distribution, failing to prioritize the least advantaged groups in accordance with Rawls’ difference principle. The novelty of this study lies in its application of justice theory as a critical evaluative framework for public investment policy, diverging from traditional economic or managerial analyses of sovereign wealth funds. By focusing on institutional fairness, this paper contributes a new legal-philosophical dimension to debates on economic governance, emphasizing the need for justice-oriented state investment strategies in developing economies such as Indonesia.

Abstract

Danantara, Indonesia’s newly established sovereign wealth fund (SWF), holds transformative potential for economic reform. This article analyzes Danantara’s strategic role in optimizing investment management, enhancing the performance of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), and advancing Indonesia’s national development agenda. Employing a qualitative literature review of peer-reviewed sources and comparative SWF case studies (primarily Norway and Singapore), the study highlights that Danantara can reduce inefficiencies in SOE capital allocation, strengthen domestic investment capacity, and lower reliance on foreign debt. Danantara’s structure mirrors successful international SWF models while adapting to Indonesia’s legal and institutional context. However, persistent risks such as political interference and governance gaps may hinder its long-term success. This literature-based approach allows a broad yet integrative view but is limited by the absence of empirical validation or field data. Strengthening legal safeguards and aligning SOE mandates with national industrial strategy emerge as critical steps toward Danantara’s effective implementation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of Danantara on Indonesia’s economic reform from a legal theory perspective, while also exploring the legal implications for state financial governance and law enforcement, and the mechanisms ensuring transparency and accountability in public asset management. This research employs a qualitative doctrinal approach, integrating comparative and thematic analyses. Data were gathered from legal texts, policy documents, academic literature, and empirical studies to construct a comprehensive framework that situates Danantara within the context of legal development and modern governance practices. The study finds that the establishment of Danantara consolidates state asset management, thereby reducing bureaucratic inefficiencies and transaction costs, while enhancing fiscal discipline and strengthening legal oversight. Additionally, the research reveals that adaptive regulatory reforms and integrated digital monitoring systems are critical in ensuring that Danantara operates in alignment with national legal standards. Unlike previous studies, this paper uniquely integrates doctrinal, comparative, and thematic perspectives to offer a holistic legal framework for institutional reform. It bridges theoretical insights and practical applications, thereby providing a novel approach to understanding the role of centralized asset management in emerging economies.
