Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of character education in instilling students' social attitudes through social studies subjects at SD IT Mulia. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, the data source is the result of interviews conducted by the author with the principal, class teachers and students at SD IT Mulia after conducting observations in the school environment. The data results are then analyzed and matched with supporting literature studies to be described in words. Based on the research results, it is known that the implementation of character education at SD IT Mulia has been carried out well. Application is not only carried out in learning within the school environment but also within the community. In its implementation, the role and cooperation between teachers and parents of students is important so that the efforts that have been made are realized.

Abstract

This research aims to describe a literature review regarding the problem of low interest in reading among lower grade students . This research is a literature review. Data collection techniques were taken from various published articles and journals, both accredited and non-accredited. From the articles and journals that became references, there were 10 articles and journals that matched the title of the research. digital literacy needs to be considered in increasing interest read elementary school students. In the second journal, based on results study is known that in an effort to increase elementary school students' interest in reading, students should be given support so that the interest in reading emerges from themselves and introduced to reading materials so that students get used to reading, therefore the reading habits of students when they are in elementary school will foster a stronger interest in reading. high until the students grow up The articles used as reference material were published in 2014-2023. the Problem of Low Interest in Reading in Lower Class Students. Abstract

The purpose of this article is to discuss pop-up book learning media used in elementary schools to help students learn. This is a literature review using content analysis techniques. To improve students' reading skills in elementary schools, researchers studied research and other written works that were relevant to the topic of the article in pop-up book learning media. Researchers go through several stages in reviewing previous research, such as selecting relevant research, collecting data and information for study, determining the state of the art of research that has been analyzed, developing the results of information analysis and assembling them into a conclusion. The results of this research can be concluded that the existence of learning media is a very important thing in Civics learning, especially at the elementary school level. It is necessary to utilize learning media to achieve the learning objectives desired by the teacher.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low level of cooperation and critical thinking abilities of students. The reason is that learning is one-way and the use of inappropriate learning models to stimulate critical thinking. An effort to overcome this is by using the "BE SMART" model. The purpose of this research is to analyze the increase in students' cooperation and critical thinking abilities. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in four meetings. The research subjects were 22 class V students at SDN Mawar 7 Banjarmasin. The type of research used is qualitative and quantitative data. The results of the research showed that student cooperation in meeting I was 45%, increasing in meeting IV by 95% in the category "All Students Work Together". Students' critical thinking abilities at meeting I were 41%, increasing at meeting IV at 95% in the category "All Students are Critical". It is recommended to teachers that the results of this " BE SMART " model research can be used as a reference in using innovative learning models.

Abstract

The Civics learning process at SD Negeri Lawe Sempilang rarely uses learning methods that attract the attention and activeness of all students in the class. Only a few students are active and most of the other students do not understand the Civics material taught by the teacher. So that the level of understanding and absorption of explanations from the teacher when the learning process between students is not the same. This research is a classroom action (PTK) with the research subject being the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Lawe Sempilang in the 2023/2024 academic year. The data test method used in this research is the test method, interview and observation. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The use of the role playing method can improve student achievement in grade V SD Negeri Lawe Sempilang on the subject of respecting collective decisions. In the research that has been done it is proven that the activeness of students in participating in the learning process is increasing. This can be seen from the results of the tests that have increased in the final test of cycle 1 the average score of students is 74.45 and in cycle 2 the average value is 82.5. Likewise, in terms of completeness, it also increases from cycle 1 to cycle 2, namely 63.6%, increasing to 90.9%.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low critical thinking skills and low student cooperation. This is because learning is abstract and students are used to learning individually. The aim of this research is to analyze the improvement of students' critical thinking and collaboration skills using the BENING model and TTS media. This research used classroom action research (PTK) which was carried out in 3 meetings. The subjects of this research were 13 class V students at SDN Hilir Mesjid Barito Kuala, consisting of 7 male students and 6 female students, in the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of this research show an increase in critical thinking skills of 85%. Meanwhile, cooperation obtained 92%.

Abstract

When a teacher thinks about why an educational act is done? The answer to that question will boil down to the beginning of the process of the education system. The beginning and estuary of the process of the education system are deep-rooted ideas about education itself which are often referred to as educational philosophy. The need for the study of educational philosophy is urgent to help every Elementary School ( ES ) teacher realize the importance of answering the question "why do educational acts or learning acts do?" Departing from this background, literature study research was carried out which aimed to explain and criticize (1) the philosophical foundations in ES , (2) the role of philosophical foundations in ES, (3) the implementation of philosophy in ES, and (4) ) philosophical problems in ES. A literature study of the philosophy of education in elementary schools found (1) There are 5 (five) educational philosophies implemented in elementary education explicitly or implicitly, namely the educational philosophy of Pancasilaism, progressivism, perennialism, essentialism, and reconstructionism. (2) The role of the foundation of educational philosophy includes the role as a source of formulation of institutional educational objectives or Graduate Competency Standards, a practical role as a source of planning, implementing, and assessing education, and acting as a policy foundation at the macro, messo, and micro levels. (3) The implementation of educational philosophy in education in elementary schools includes planning, implementing, and assessing education. (4) Problems of educational philosophy in ES , including (a) uniformity vs. diversity, (b) the practice of identity politics, (c) teacher comfort zones, (d) dynamics of demands for change, and (e) incremental innovation.

The purpose of this writing is to find out a description of the teacher's ability to apply the contextual and learning (CTL) approach, student interest in learning and student learning outcomes in social studies learning. This research uses a literature study method, namely by looking for sources from journals. Currently there is low interest students in social studies lessons and is a challenge for teachers in carrying out the teaching and learning process, this contextual and learning model approach is a learning method that can be applied by teachers to students in elementary schools. Abstract

This study aim Character education is part of shaping students' attitudes to become better. Social teachings are subjects that contain social life. The aim of this research is to analyze character formation in social studies learning in elementary schools with an independent program. This research method is a qualitative document study. The data collection techniques are literature reviews and internet research. Data was obtained from various articles reviewed by researchers. The result of this research is that learning social sciences in an independent program is combined with learning natural sciences which is now called IPAS. Character education in social studies and learning in independent learning programs can be done in a simple way, namely by making teachers good role models for students and implementing character values in educational projects created by teachers.
