This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study to explore the role of government in the development of SMEs in South Tangerang City through in-depth interviews with government officials and SME actors, as well as observation and documentation of related policies. The data collected were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which involves data collection, reduction, and presentation, as well as triangulation to ensure the validity of the findings. The results of the study are expected to provide comprehensive insights into the effectiveness of government policies in supporting SMEs. The results of the study show that the policies of the South Tangerang City government that support SME development through entrepreneurship training programs, capital facilitation, digitalization, and partnerships have a positive impact on SME turnover and production efficiency. These programs have also succeeded in increasing the managerial capacity and digital competitiveness of SMEs. However, challenges still exist in the distribution of policy benefits, especially related to access to information and complex administrative procedures, as well as technological limitations in remote areas. Therefore, a more inclusive strategy is needed, such as simplifying bureaucracy and improving technological infrastructure.

Abstract

Hypnotherapy can support students in managing academic stress to achieve better academic performance. Training in hypnotherapy, especially self-hypnosis, equips students with essential self-regulation skills to cope with academic pressure effectively. This study is a systematic review aimed at updating the current body of evidence and expanding the understanding of hypnotherapy's effectiveness in alleviating academic stress among university students. The review focuses on studies published between 2000 and 2021. The method involved a comprehensive search of relevant scholarly literature, particularly studies examining the application of hypnotherapy within the context of guidance and counseling services in educational settings. The findings consistently demonstrate that hypnotherapy has a positive impact in reducing levels of academic stress, enhancing relaxation, and improving students' psychological well-being. These outcomes suggest that hypnotherapy can serve as a viable and effective complementary approach in student mental health support. The review highlights the potential of integrating hypnotherapy into counseling practices in higher education as part of holistic strategies to support students' emotional and academic resilience

Abstract

The main challenge in learning history in the current digital era is the lack of understanding and knowledge of historical facts for students regarding the historical value contained in past events. In addition, the gap in access to technology also affects the effectiveness of learning, which ultimately impacts the quality of education. This study aims to explore the potential of digital media in learning history, especially to improve historical thinking skills in generation Z. The characteristics of this generation that is open to technology allow them to access historical information quickly and interactively. The method used in this study is a literature review with a qualitative approach, which analyzes various relevant literature sources. The results of the study show that digital media has a significant impact on enriching historical understanding, developing students' analytical skills, and fostering values of nationalism and love for the country. However, the challenges faced are low interest in reading and lack of digital literacy, which can hinder the maximum use of digital media. However, the use of digital media can increase learning motivation and provide a more flexible, interesting, and accessible learning experience at any time, so that it can help students understand history in a more enjoyable and effective way.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of teachers towards digital. In the rapidly developing digital era, teachers' ability to utilize information and communication technology (ICT) is crucial not only in the learning process, but also in managing administrative tasks. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach on a number of teachers at MTs Al Washliyah Kuala Silo Bestari TanjungBalai. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations of the practice of managing learning administration carried out by teachers. The results of the study show that teachers with a high level of digital literacy tend to be more effective and efficient in completing administrative tasks such as preparing learning plans, managing student grades, making reports, and communicating with related parties. The use of various digital applications and platforms can reduce manual workloads, minimize errors, and speed up workflows. The implication of this study is the importance of improving teachers' digital literacy competencies through ongoing training and mentoring to optimize learning administration management and ultimately improve the overall quality of education. The use of various productivity applications, learning management systems (LMS), and digital communication tools has been shown to reduce dependence on manual methods that are prone to errors and time-consuming. The implications of this study emphasize the urgency of strengthening teachers' digital literacy through ongoing training programs, adequate technical support, and provision of relevant digital resources.

Abstract

School quality is crucial in supporting student success. This study aims to analyze the influence of Academic Supervision, Instructional Leadership Style, and Work Discipline on the Quality of Elementary Schools in Dempet District, Demak Regency. The specific objective of this research is to determine the extent to which each of these variables individually and collectively affects the improvement of elementary school quality. This study employs a quantitative correlational approach with a survey research design. The research population consists of 458 teachers, with a sample of 151 teachers selected. Data were collected using a questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted through descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests, simple linear regression analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results indicate that Academic Supervision, Instructional Leadership Style, and Work Discipline have a positive and significant effect on School Quality. The regression equation for Academic Supervision is Y = 4.737 + 0.223X1, with an R-Square value of 0.027, indicating a small contribution to school quality. Instructional Leadership Style has a significant effect, with the equation Y = 36.022 + 0.967X2 and an R-Square value of 0.238, explaining 23.8% of the variation in school quality. Work Discipline also has a significant effect, with the equation Y = 48.063 + 0.530X3 and an R-Square value of 0.230, contributing substantially to educational quality. The combined regression model of the three variables results in the equation Y = 4.737 + 0.223X1 + 0.740X2 + 0.406X3 and an R-Square value of 0.361, explaining 36.1% of the variation in school quality, demonstrating the significant contribution of these three variables in improving school quality

Abstract

This study investigates how Indonesia can identify optimal bilateral trade partners by analyzing the effects of relative output, market potential, and trade openness on its terms of trade (ToT). The analysis is timely amid escalating U.S.–China trade tensions (2024–2025), which have disrupted global supply chains and altered trade dynamics. Using panel data from 2009 to 2019, the study avoids periods of major shocks such as the 2007–2008 global financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic post-2020. A quasi-maximum likelihood (QML) method is employed to estimate the impact of bilateral economic fundamentals on Indonesia’s ToT, accounting for heterogeneity and endogeneity. Results show that Indonesia’s ToT improves when trading with countries that have higher relative output, expanding market potential, and greater trade openness. These findings highlight the importance of trade diversification and suggest that Indonesia should prioritize partnerships with dynamic, open economies to strengthen its resilience to global trade shocks. The study offers strategic insights for navigating a shifting international trade environment.

Abstract

This article analyzes the construction of women's identity through a relational dialectics approach implied in the letters of RA Kartini. With the context of Dutch colonialism and the dominance of Javanese patriarchal culture, the letters became an arena of discourse where Kartini constructed her identity as a modern Javanese woman. This research uses library methods on Kartini's correspondence in the book Door Duisternis tot Licht (Habis Gelap Terbitlah Terang) and relevant archives. The analysis results show that Kartini not only fought for women's emancipation but also deconstructed the passive identity imposed on indigenous women by crafting a strong narrative of cultural resistance. The dialectic between Western values and local traditions creates complexity in her narrative of identity as a colonial woman.
