Abstract

Regional development is greatly aided by investment, especially when it comes to Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs). At DPMPTSP Asahan, investment data has traditionally been managed using static spreadsheets, making it difficult for new investors to understand regional potential, especially when they are unfamiliar with the area. This study employs a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The resulting system uses OSS-RBA data with interactive maps and filtering tools that enable users to explore MSME distributions by sector and location. Developed using PHP, CodeIgniter, and Leaflet.js, the WebGIS system facilitates intuitive access to business legality information, administrative boundaries, and geospatial insights. The system improves communication between DPMPTSP officers and investors by allowing spatial-based explanations that replace conventional tabular presentations. Investors can better grasp economic zones, accessibility, and sectoral opportunities through map-based exploration. These features are especially useful in early investment decision-making stages. Unlike prior systems that lack interactivity and licensing data integration, this system bridges that gap with investor-friendly features and a modular architecture. The WebGIS platform enhances service delivery, increases transparency, and supports data-driven policymaking in investment promotion. It serves as a scalable model for other regional governments seeking to digitize and spatially enhance investment-related information systems.

Abstract

Anxiety before undergoing Sectio Cesarea (SC) has the opportunity to disrupt the quality of life during the postpartum period, both physically, psychologically, and socially. This study analyzed the relationship between anxiety before SC and the quality of life of postpartum women. SC delivery is the choice of women for maternal and infant health reasons and for the choice of birth date. The act of SC is inseparable from the act of severing tissue. Even though SC is the choice of the woman who will give birth, this action causes fear and anxiety in her. In addition, the wound in the incision is the cause of pain after SC. Surgical wound pain is often a trigger for discomfort and limitation of movement. The quality of life of postpartum women is part of their satisfaction with their condition. Postpartum women who have not been able to adapt to their condition can interfere with their well-being.

Abstract

This article examines the Islamic Public Relations (PR) approach in issue management and media relations in Islamic institutions in Indonesia. The Islamic approach in public relations emphasizes the values of honesty, openness, responsibility, and manners in communication. In the context of a society that is experiencing information polarization and increasing distrust of religious institutions and the media, the role of Islamic PR is important to build credibility and maintain the image of the institution. Through a qualitative-descriptive approach based on literature studies and case studies on several Islamic organizations and Islamic boarding schools, this article explains how Islamic values are applied in issue management and establishing healthy and strategic relationships with the mass media. The results of the analysis show that the Islamic PR approach is able to build a calming, honest, and solutive narrative in the midst of a crisis of public issues. It is necessary to strengthen media literacy and Islamic PR training based on maqāṣid al-syarī'ah so that Islamic institutions are able to appear as communication actors who are trusted by the public.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the philosophical meanings and functions of ornaments in bridal makeup based on the Boh Gaca tradition in Beutong District, Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh Province. Boh Gaca is a ritual of applying henna with distinctive motifs passed down through generations. The study employs ethnographic methods with a qualitative descriptive approach to explore the symbolic meanings and cultural values embedded in these ornaments. Levi Strauss's structuralism theory serves as the main framework, supported by Clifford Geertz's symbolism theory, Bronislaw Malinowski's functionalism, and Edward Shils's theory of cultural preservation. The findings reveal that Boh Gaca motifs, such as geometric patterns and floral designs, carry deep philosophical meanings, symbolizing harmony, fertility, and hopes for a happy household. This tradition also serves as a symbol of social status and cultural identity for the Acehnese community. The younger generation plays a crucial role in sustaining this tradition, despite facing challenges such as lack of interest, modernization influences, and limited educational media. Innovation and intergenerational collaboration, along with the use of social media, are key strategies in maintaining the existence of Boh Gaca. The conclusion of this study affirms that Boh Gaca is not merely an aesthetic ornament, but a cultural heritage rich in symbolic and social values that must continue to be preserved.

Abstract

Improving road infrastructure plays a vital role in enhancing community mobility and fostering economic development within a region. In Dadimulyo Sub-district, one of the main challenges in infrastructure development lies in determining road repair priorities, especially under the constraints of limited budgets and available resources. This study proposes the development of a Decision Support System (DSS) utilizing the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to facilitate more objective, transparent, and systematic decision-making. The AHP method enables the analysis of multiple criteria, such as current road conditions, traffic volume, accessibility, and community demand to assign weighted priorities for road repairs. The system is developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL as the database management system, ensuring both functionality and ease of data management. Based on the AHP calculations, Waterpas Road was identified as the highest-priority road for repair, receiving a final score of 0.227. The results of this study demonstrate that the integration of the AHP method into the decision-making process allows for more accurate prioritization and effective resource allocation. With this DSS, the government of Dadimulyo Sub-district is better equipped to optimize infrastructure planning, improve transparency, and ensure that limited budgets are directed toward areas with the greatest need and impact.

Abstract

Batu Bara Regency has significant culinary tourism potential, featuring a variety of traditional dishes such as gulai asam ikan and cumi isi pulut. However, culinary data management by the Youth, Sports, Culture, and Tourism Office (DISPORABUDPAR) is still manual and relies solely on visitor numbers. This study develops a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to provide more objective culinary recommendations based on six criteria: food price, facilities, cleanliness, service, menu variety, and location accessibility. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires from 47 tourists. The system identified the top three culinary destinations: RM 100 (0.92), Buffet Mangga (0.838), and Kuta Koffee (0.768). Developed using PHP and MySQL, the system has proven to improve the efficiency of culinary data management and assist tourists in making more accurate choices, while also promoting and supporting the equitable development of local culinary tourism.
