Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of multiple intelligence theory in the learning of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The theory developed by Howard Gardner emphasizes that human intelligence is not only limited to intellectual aspects (IQ), but also includes various dimensions such as linguistics, logical-mathematical, kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, musical, visual-spatial, and naturalist. Through the literature study approach, this research identifies how this theory can increase the effectiveness of PAI learning by utilizing the diversity of potential intelligence of students. The results showed that the application of compound intelligence theory in PAI can create an inclusive, creative, and fun learning environment. Various learning methods, such as the use of multimedia, group work, experimental learning, and emphasis on creativity, are able to accommodate the needs of students with a variety of dominant intelligences. In addition, a holistic evaluation that includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects is the key to measuring learning success. This research also highlights the importance of the teacher's role in recognizing the tendency of student intelligence and designing appropriate learning strategies. Thus, the theory of compound intelligence not only enriches the practice of PAI learning but also encourages the development of students' potential as a whole, in accordance with holistic Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the value of preaching about sincerity as manifested in rituals Ruwat Rambut Gimbal in Dieng Kulon Village, Batur Subdistrict, Banjarnegara Regency. Using a phenomenological qualitative approach, data was obtained through observation and in-depth interviews with traditional leaders and the community. The results of the study show that the value of sincerity is reflected in various aspects of the ritual, from the preparation stage to the implementation. The sincerity of the community is evident in their sacrifice of time, energy, and materials, as well as their involvement in the stages of the ritual, such as the footsteps, cultural carnival, drying, hair cutting, and the procession of throwing the hair into Lake Balekambang. The value of sincerity is also seen in the community's willingness to fulfil the requests of children with dreadlocks before the hair cutting procession, as well as the role of religious leaders in reciting prayers to accompany the procession. This ruwatan tradition not only preserves the cultural heritage of the ancestors, but also serves as a means of cultural preaching, where the community actualises Islamic values through sincere and selfless actions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze gold bullion sales at the Pegadaian Labuhan Ruku Outlet using the Single Moving Average (SMA) method as a forecasting tool. Forecasting, which involves estimating future events based on historical data, is essential in business decision-making, particularly in inventory and financial planning. The SMA method was chosen for its simplicity and effectiveness in identifying sales trends over time. Using monthly gold sales data from January 2024 to January 2025, this study predicts future sales to help the company respond to market demand. The results show that gold sales fluctuate due to factors such as global gold price changes and consumer purchasing behavior. The SMA method successfully produced accurate sales forecasts with a low error rate, proving its reliability for short-term prediction. In conclusion, implementing the SMA forecasting method can support Pegadaian in managing stock more efficiently, minimizing excess inventory, and improving responsiveness to market trends. This suggests that even simple forecasting techniques can provide valuable insights and play a strategic role in business operations.

Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis is an infectious disease that can affect the quality of life of sufferers. Social support is often considered a contributing factor to the quality of life of pulmonary TB patients, but research results on this relationship are still mixed. This study aims to analyze the relationship between social support and the quality of life of pulmonary TB patients. This study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. consisting of 33 pulmonary TB patients registered at one of the health centers in Palembang city. Data were collected using a questionnaire that included a social support scale, a stigma scale, and the WHOQOL-BREF instrument to measure quality of life. Correlation analysis showed that social support had a weak positive relationship with quality of life (r = 0.33; p = 0.05) which means that the higher the social support received by the respondents, the better their quality of life. Social support contributes positively to improving the quality of life of pulmonary tuberculosis patients

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of farmer group dynamics on the application of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in the cultivation of red chili in Sukajaya District, Bogor Regency. Red chili is an important commodity that maintains the stability of the national economy which is vulnerable to fluctuations in price and production. Data shows that there has been a decrease in the productivity of red chili in Sukajaya District despite an increase at the regency level, indicating that the application of GAP is not yet optimal. Using a descriptive quantitative approach and multiple linear regression analysis, this study involved 101 respondents from farmer group members. The results showed that the factors that significantly influenced the application of GAP were group task function, group objectives, guidance, group structure, effectiveness, and pressure, with a contribution of 72.2%. Characteristically, the majority of farmers are men (94%), of productive age 36-45 years (34.7%), with elementary school education (38.6%), very experienced in farming (40.6%), and have sufficiently productive land (41.6%). The strategy to increase the dynamics of farmer groups to optimize the implementation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) needs to pay attention to these factors, especially the function of group tasks that have the greatest influence, through training, technical guidance, counseling, and routine monitoring.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation, teacher competence, school culture, and principal's leadership on teacher performance at SMP Muhammadiyah 35 Sigambal. Teacher performance is a key factor in determining the quality of learning and educational success. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 13 active teachers as respondents. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results of the partial test showed that the variables of work motivation and teacher competence did not have a significant effect on teacher performance, while school culture and principal leadership had a positive and significant effect. However, simultaneously, these four variables had a significant effect on teacher performance with a Fcal value of 69.912 and a significance of 0.000 (0.05). The determination coefficient (R²) of 0.918 indicates that 91.8% of the variation in teacher performance can be explained by all four independent variables in the model. These findings confirm the importance of synergy between internal (motivation and competence) and external factors (school culture and leadership) in forming a work environment conducive to improving teacher performance. This study recommends strengthening school culture and leadership quality as priority strategies in improving the quality of education.

Abstract

The Study aims to achieve the following objectives: 1. To integrate religious and cultural values into education, which can influence the character development of students in Indonesia and Malaysia; 2. To analyze forms of elaboration on Islamic religious education based on religious and cultural values that can be applied to character development in Indonesia. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a comparative study design. It was conducted in several schools in Indonesia and Malaysia that implement religious education based on religious and cultural values. Primary data were obtained through in-depth interviews with teachers, school principals, students, and parents, as well as direct observation in the schools. Secondary data were collected from curriculum documents, school annual reports, academic publications, and related literature. Data analysis was carried out using thematic analysis to identify key themes and comparative analysis to compare findings from both countries. The findings reveal that: 1. The integration of religious and cultural values in religious education in both countries plays a significant role in shaping students' character. In Indonesia, local cultural values such as mutual cooperation (gotong royong) and patriotism are integrated with Islamic religious education to create a holistic curriculum. In Malaysia, Malay cultural values are combined with Islamic teachings to impart moral and ethical values. This integration has proven effective in fostering moral and ethical character development among students in both countries. 2. The study also found that for character development, more elaborate approaches are needed, such as developing an integrated curriculum, conducting culture-based extracurricular activities, enhancing teacher competence, and utilizing technology in learning. Furthermore, the study recommends strengthening cooperation between Indonesia and Malaysia in the field of religious education to share experiences and best practices, as well as developing more flexible and contextual education policies in line with societal dynamics and contemporary developments.
