Abstract

Good classroom discipline not only supports the smooth running of the teaching and learning process, but also contributes significantly to the achievement of optimal learning outcomes. The main purpose of creating a quality learning environment is to support learners in developing their full potential. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach using the literature study method. This study examines various similar research findings that explain the problem under study. Effective classroom discipline is based on a positive approach, open communication, clear rules, and proactive strategies. Teachers build positive relationships with students through empathy, constructive feedback, and appreciation of student effort. Positive discipline fosters responsibility, character, and a comfortable learning environment that values students' holistic and sustainable development. Classroom discipline is an important foundation for creating an orderly learning atmosphere and avoiding deviant behavior. Effective discipline approaches must be based on human values and democratic principles, and prioritize non-violent methods such as positive discipline. Overall, the implementation of humanist, democratic and positive discipline can shape students' responsible character and support their academic and social development.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether there is a significant difference of the Provincial Minimum Wage (MWP) between Java Island and Outer Java regions in 2024. The method used is the Mann-Whithney Test as one of the independent two-sample nonparametric tests. The data used were secondary data from official government websites. The analysis results showed that there was a difference in UMP between both regions with a significance level of 10%, however it was not significant at a significance level of 5%. This suggests that UMP differences between regions are not yet sufficiently statistically robust at stricter levels.

Abstract

It is important to introduce English early so that learners have the habit of hearing and understanding its meaning. Embedding bilingual English in the learning process will shape learners' habits to become more familiar with English. The purpose of this study is to analyze the language strategies set by teachers in bilingual learning using video media in elementary schools. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The teacher's learning will be analyzed using the learning process instrument, then it will be studied descriptively. The results of the analysis of the bilingual learning video found that the teacher used the Problem-Based Learning model and language strategies in the form of code-switching between English and Indonesian. This strategy helps improve concept understanding, communication skills, and learners' confidence in using a foreign language. The use of video media also supports the bilingual learning process by presenting the material visually and contextually. The conclusion confirms that bilingual learning, when designed in a planned and consistent manner, can strengthen learners' linguistic abilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi stunting di Kota Serang pada tahun 2025 dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif berbasis studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stunting merupakan permasalahan multidimensi yang tidak hanya berkaitan dengan kekurangan gizi, tetapi juga melibatkan faktor sosial, ekonomi, budaya, serta kelemahan dalam sistem layanan kesehatan dan koordinasi antar lembaga. Sebaran kasus yang tidak merata, rendahnya literasi gizi masyarakat, minimnya kapasitas kader posyandu, dan kurangnya edukasi sejak masa kehamilan menjadi penyebab utama stagnasi angka stunting. Selain itu, distribusi bantuan gizi yang tidak tepat sasaran dan lemahnya pemantauan pasca intervensi juga memperburuk situasi. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan lintas sektor, penguatan sistem data mikro, serta keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam program pencegahan stunting secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

This study aims to implement the concept of sharia marketing in community empowerment activities through the manufacture of aromatherapy candles from used cooking oil in RT 19, Bumi Ayu Village. This activity was motivated by the desire to utilize household waste, especially used cooking oil, into products with economic value and are environmentally friendly. The approach used is a participatory method by directly involving residents in training, production, and marketing strategies. Sharia marketing is implemented by emphasizing the principles of honesty, transparency, and blessings in every stage of the process. The results of the activity showed an increase in residents' understanding of the values of the circular economy and the basic principles of sharia marketing. Aromatherapy candle products from used cooking oil also received a positive response from local consumers, showing the potential for sustainable businesses based on Islamic values. This study recommends the development of similar activities as a model for community empowerment based on the creative economy and Islamic ethics.

Abstract

Infrastructure development in Indonesia plays a crucial role in accelerating economic growth and improving the quality of life for society. However, infrastructure projects often bring negative impacts on both the environment and social aspects. The aim of this article is to analyze the importance of sustainable infrastructure development and the ways to achieve it. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with literature study to gather data from various sources. The findings show that sustainable infrastructure development should consider the balance between economy, environment, and social aspects, while also involving public participation and strengthening regulations to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. This article recommends the need for more inclusive and environmentally-friendly policies in every infrastructure project.

Abstract

Classroom management is something that is always intertwined with the teaching and learning process. With good classroom management, it is hoped that the implementation of learning can run effectively. Which in the current independent curriculum focuses on the development of student competencies and this curriculum is also more flexible. Classroom management also considers the diversity of students' learning styles in the classroom, so that students can feel comfortable, happy, and more active in their learning. The data collection process involved conducting in-depth observations and interviews with the data sources, namely the Islamic Religious Education subject teacher and the fourth-grade students of SDIT Insan Kamil Bukittinggi. The results of this study show that classroom management is carried out well, with the teacher preparing things that support the learning process and paying attention to the condition of the classroom, classroom cleanliness, as well as the selection of effective methods and media so that students can learn well. Classroom management also needs to pay attention to the diversity of students in the class; teaching must be tailored to the needs of each student because each student certainly has different learning styles. Thus, it is hoped that students can learn according to their interests and develop their talents.

Abstract

This Pkl 1 program uses the casework method as an individual intervention approach to improve the learning abilities of children at the Menara Kasih Indonesia Orphanage in Medan City. The process is carried out through six stages: involvement, assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and termination. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in academic aspects, mastery of technology, and learning attitudes, the ability to use the courage application, and social engagement. Major obstacles such as limited devices and internet connections were overcome through flexible approaches such as rotating learning and shared hotspots. Emotional guidance has consistently been shown to be able to trigger behavioral transformation that has long-term impacts. The casework method shows effectiveness in handling educational cases in limited social environments, and is recommended as an alternative approach to strengthening the learning of children in orphanages

Abstract

Di era modern ini terdapat banyak sekali aplikasi arah kiblat yang beredar di layanan konten digital milik Google yaitu Google Play Store. Salah satu aplikasi penentuan arah kiblat yang berbasis android yang berkembang saat ini yaitu aplikasi Miqat : Prayer Times, Qiblah, and Hilal Visibility yang dirilis pertama kali pada tahun 2015 oleh Samer Joudi, seorang Spesialis Teknologi Geospasial atau Sistem Informasi Geografis dari Suriah. Aplikasi Miqat telah diunduh lebih dari 5.000.000 (lima juta) pengguna dan mempunyai rating 4,4 dari skala 5 per tanggal 19 Juli 2022. Aplikasi Miqat memiliki fitur 3D Qibla yang berfungsi untuk mengarahkan pengguna ke arah Kakbah dengan bantuan teknologi augmented reality dalam tampilan dunia nyata. Namun, tampilan garis arah kiblat 3D dalam fitur 3D Qibla ini masih mengacu kepada sensor magnetik dari Smartphone sehingga arah tersebut tidak dapat menjukkan arah kiblat yang benar-benar akurat. Merujuk pada latar belakang diatas, maka penulis kemudian merumuskan beberapa masalah. Pertama, bagaimana teknik pengukuran arah kiblat dengan menggunakan aplikasi android berteknologi augmented reality pada aplikasi Miqat karya Samer Joudi. Kedua, bagaimana akurasi pengukuran arah kiblat menggunakan aplikasi android berteknologi augmented reality pada aplikasi Miqat karya Samer Joudi. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif bersifat deskriptif (descriptive research) dengan pendekatan kepustakaan (library research) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui lebih detail tentang akurasi arah kiblat di Musholah Baiturrahman Desa Segoro Tambak Kecamatan Sedati Kabupaten Sidoarjo dan kajian aplikasi android Miqat dari segi teori, metode, perhitungan dan akurasinya dalam menentukan arah kiblat. Sumber data primer yang digunakan adalah data dari aplikasi Miqat serta wawancara dengan Samer Joudi dan ketua takmir, sedangkan data sekunder yang digunakan adalah literatur yang berkaitan dengan penentuan arah kiblat. Metode analisis data yang dilakukan peneliti adalah dengan cara menentukan arah kiblat menggunakan fitur 3D Qibla pada aplikasi Miqat untuk mengetahui akurasi arah kiblat di Musholah Baiturrahman Desa Segoro Tambak Kecamatan Sedati Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Hasil penelitian ini adalah metode perhitungan yang digunakan dalam aplikasi Miqat merupakan rumus Vincenty. Perhitungan ini cukup akurat karena rumus Vincenty memiliki akurasi tinggi untuk menentukan arah kiblat berdasarkan bentuk bumi yang ellipsoid. Hasil penentuan arah kiblat menggunakan Aplikasi Miqat di fitur 3D Qibla yang berteknologi augmented reality dikateogrikan hampir mendekati kesempurnaan akurat Tingkat akurasinya berselisih 0o726,96 dari arah kiblat yang sebenarnya.

Abstract

The persistent bias in media representations of non-binary gender identities in Indonesia raises a critical question: to what extent are public media and language capable of fostering inclusive and equitable communication? This study seeks to examine how non-binary gender identities are constructed through language strategies in Indonesian media practices, and to evaluate the extent to which principles of inclusive communication are implemented or overlooked within public discourse. The primary objective of this research is to systematically analyze patterns of representation and linguistic strategies concerning non-binary identities, while critically assessing these practices through the lens of inclusive communication. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with a qualitative approach, this study synthesizes relevant academic literature published between 2015 and 2025. The theoretical framework integrates Stuart Hall’s theory of representation, Judith Butler’s theory of gender performativity, and Foss and Pearson’s concept of inclusive communication. The findings reveal that media representations of non-binary identities in Indonesia remain predominantly stereotypical and exclusionary, reinforced by gender-biased language and a lack of institutional awareness regarding inclusivity. Mainstream media have yet to adopt gender-neutral editorial standards, with more affirming narratives primarily emerging from grassroots initiatives and alternative media spaces.
