Abstract

The school library plays a strategic role as a learning resource center that supports the educational process, strengthens literacy, and improves the quality of learning for students and teachers. However, library services at SMP Negeri 219 Jakarta are still managed manually, from searching the book collection, borrowing, and returning books, to compiling transaction reports, resulting in various challenges such as slow service, low work efficiency, and difficulties for users in accessing collection information. This study aims to design a web-based library system as a form of transformation for school library services through a user-satisfaction-oriented approach. The research employs a system design method using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach for system analysis and design, while system implementation utilizes the PHP programming language and the MySQL database. The developed system is equipped with features for book search, digital borrowing, book reservations, book donations, feedback and suggestions, return notifications, and automated reports. The research results indicate that the designed system is capable of improving the effectiveness of library management, accelerating service access, and enhancing user comfort and satisfaction. Thus, the digital transformation of school libraries serves as a strategic solution for improving the quality of library services based on user needs.

Abstract

AdThe business world has changed due to advances in information and mobile technology. This is especially true for MSME businesses. As one of the UMKM that sells furniture, ABC Furniture has experienced a major impact from these developments. This study aims to improve the competitiveness of ABC Furniture UMKM by designing and building mobile-based applications using the Extreme Programming method to maximize the expanding market potential. Two problems found are suboptimal operational efficiency and obstacles in utilizing existing market potential. Therefore, the solution proposed by this study is the development of a phone application that can display complete products with images and descriptions, an online ordering system, electronic payment communication, and order status notifications. The application's user interface is made to be more user-friendly and responsive. It is possible that ABC Furniture UMKM can implement mobile applications to increase market reach, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen their digital presence in an increasingly connected business era. This expected solution can help UMKM in overcoming contemporary market challenges and make a positive contribution to the growth and aspirations of their businesses.

Abstract

Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services have revolutionized digital credit access, yet they present new challenges in credit risk management due to the limitations of traditional financial data. This study aims to optimize credit risk assessment by integrating machine learning techniques, specifically K-Means Clustering for customer segmentation and Random Forest Classifier for default prediction (default_flag). Data were analyzed using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), which successfully retained 74.70% of the data variance to validate the cluster structure. The study identified three unique segments: The Safe Strategists, The High-Risk Youth, and The Affluent Late-Payers. The implementation of the Random Forest model demonstrated stable performance with an accuracy rate of 70% and a weighted recall of 70%. Feature Importance analysis revealed that digital behavioral variables, such as repayment_delay_days and app_usage_frequency, are significant predictors that compete with conventional indicators like credit_score. These findings emphasize the importance of transforming from static credit scoring to dynamic behavioral scoring to mitigate systemic risks within the Fintech ecosystem.

Abstract

Nutritional problems remain a significant public health issue in Indonesia, particularly among vulnerable groups such as infants, toddlers, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers. Various nutritional indicators indicate a persistently high burden of malnutrition, despite a downward trend in recent years. The national prevalence of stunting among toddlers was recorded at 19.8% in 2024, although still higher than the national target of <14% at the end of the 2024–2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN). Wasting and underweight also remain challenges, at approximately 7.4% and 16.8%, respectively, in children under five. Furthermore, anemia and chronic energy deficiency in pregnant women continue to contribute to the risk of low birth weight.Complementary nutrition services, as a nutritional intervention strategy, play a crucial role in meeting additional nutritional needs through planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating. The implementation of integrated service management involving cross-sectoral collaboration, community empowerment, and utilization of local food resources increases service effectiveness and program coverage. The use of an integrated approach also significantly increased energy and protein intake in malnourished toddlers in a quasi-experimental study (n=140), showing significant increases in energy (difference-in-differences [DID] = 405.53 kcal; p<0.001) and protein (DID = 4.62 g; p<0.001). This model has the potential to improve the nutritional status of the community sustainably if implemented consistently and in a coordinated manner.
