Abstract

The Yosowilangun Health Center in improving employee discipline, implements an attendance system using the Si Need application feature with the aim of making it easier to control, supervise and evaluate the level of employee discipline. The Si Perlu application feature also has deficiencies in its work system, such as this application cannot be used when the lights are off, it is difficult to access employee attendance at the same time, and this application can be accessed if the employee's cellphone has a high capacity because this application has high RAM requirements as well. This study aims to determine the application of the Islamic work ethic to the employees of the district health center. Yosowilangun. This research uses qualitative techniques with descriptive research types. Data collection methods used are observation, literature study, interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that by enforcing absenteeism using the Si Need application feature at the Kec. Yosowilagun, employee discipline at work can be said to be stable and has increased.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between work ethic and caregivers at Al-Maufi Islamic Boarding School. This study aims to find out how caregivers apply the Islamic work ethic in the Islamic boarding school. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research method, namely research procedures using observation, interview and documentation methods. Based on the results of the interviews he had conducted with the caretaker of the Al-Maufi Islamic Boarding School, he explained that the work ethic, especially in a Islamic boarding school, is very important. Even though there is a transition or change in management, both sons and daughters, this does not change a rule in the pesantren. It can be concluded that the leadership of the Al-Maufi Islamic boarding school has a good work ethic, in terms of discipline, the leadership of the Islamic boarding school is very concerned about time, all the activities of the students are well organized. In addition, from an exemplary perspective, the leadership of the Islamic boarding school can provide a good example or uswah for the students.

Abstract

This journal focuses on how the disciplinary work ethic between civil servants and non-PNS employees at the Wringin Religious Affairs Office, Bondowoso Regency. The purpose of this journal is to find out whether PNS and non-PNS employees at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of Wringin District, Bondowoso Regency are disciplined or not in carrying out the tasks that have been given. The type of research used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach, while in data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the results of the observations that we have made, it can be concluded that the discipline of PNS and non-PNS employees at the Office of Religious Affairs in Wringin District, Bondowoso Regency can be said to be good, this is in accordance with Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021.

Abstract

The large number of members is a separate threat to the survival of an organization. Therefore, it is necessary to choose quality human resources so that the organization continues to run well. Good resources also need planting and supporting education. Thus the author is interested in conducting research on the existence of a Training of Organizational Leadership agenda held by the ICIS UIN KHAS Jember organization to instill various organizational matters in its members. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with data collection using interviews and observation. The results of the study show that the inculcation of a work ethic in members of the ICIS UIN KHAS Jember organization through Training of Organizational Leadership can be said to be effective and have a considerable influence. This is evident in the formation of better identity and personality for members, as well as matters directly related to how a leader is able to apply or realize the theory obtained from the Training of Organizational Leadership.

Abstract

Al Husna 2 Student Islamic Boarding School (PPM) is a place for students who continue their education at the college level, commonly called mahasantri. PPM Al Husna 2 is a branch of PPM Al Husna 1, therefore the caregiver gives full responsibility to the board of the boarding school. The chairman of the hut here is very influential on the progress of the hut. To carry out developments and advance the PPM Al Husna cottage chairman is currently revitalizing programs that did not exist in the previous management. This journal aims to determine the leadership exercised by the head of the Islamic boarding school in revitalizing the work ethic of the administrators at PPM Al Husna 2. Qualitative research is a method used by researchers in their research with a sociological-anthropological approach, namely being directly involved in activities in the Islamic boarding school. . By obtaining descriptive data in the form of oral or written from one of the respondents, with a total population of 12 responses, ie 7 from administrators and 5 from students. So, the data obtained is in the form of words, pictures, and not numbers. So the results of this study are that the head of the boarding school himself has a strategy in revitalizing his work ethic, as well as the work ethic of the students at the boarding school so that the formation of the existing work ethic in the boarding school can shape the students to have responsibility, encourage the students to develop their knowledge and skills, and can be a value that is attached to the students themselves.

Abstract

This article aims to find out the application of the Islamic work ethic to employees of the Tapen Regency Religious Affairs Office. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research technique. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis in this study used triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the KUA staff of Tapen Regency have started to apply an Islamic work ethic by carrying out work based on the Al-Quran and Hadith by applying sincerity, honesty, consistency, courage to accept consequences, and responsibility. The Islamic work ethic applied by employees has a visible impact from increasing employee performance and satisfaction with the services provided by employees of the Office of Religious Affairs.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the work ethic as a basis for the staff of the Office of Religious Affairs at work (Office of Religious Affairs, Licin District, Banyuwangi in 2023). Within an institution, there are several objectives that can be summarized. The work ethic is one of the foundations that can improve the Office of Religious Affairs and the performance of staff at the Office of Religious Affairs at work. All employees of the Office of Religious Affairs must play an active role in improving the work ethic, a good work ethic of the staff of the Office of Religious Affairs can also have a good impact on the Office of Religious Affairs and the community. Work ethic is closely related to discipline, morale, honesty and responsibility. This study aims to determine the work ethic as the basis for the staff of the Office of Religious Affairs in their work. This research is a study of the Office of Religious Affairs. This study used the research technique of the Office of Religious Affairs with a descriptive type of research. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis in this study used triangulation techniques. The results of the research show that the work ethic that is applied includes several aspects 1). Aspects of work discipline in respecting time, 2). Honest aspects in terms of delivery and service to the community, 3). Aspects of service to the community by prioritizing the nature of friendliness, patience and familiarity with the community, 4). Aspects of responsibility in the field of work of each staff of the Office of Religious Affairs at work.

Abstract

Multicultural education is becoming increasingly important in heterogeneous societies like Indonesia. One subject that has the potential to implement multicultural education is history, particularly when studying Islamic history. Indonesia is a region with diverse cultural backgrounds, often referred to as multicultural. This diversity is also present in the field of education. This research aims to explain or analyze history lessons with Islamic content to enhance awareness of multicultural education in SMA Negeri 11 Medan, specifically considering the cultural backgrounds of students who adhere to different religions, which can potentially trigger conflicts within a multicultural community. Therefore, multicultural education is expected to serve as a foundation for prioritizing tolerance in society, especially among students in schools. This research utilizes qualitative research methods with a case study approach to analyze how multicultural education is integrated into history lessons at school. This is related to the study of history, which explores the nature and habits of humanity over time. The connection between multicultural education and history education is valuable in fostering multicultural awareness and uniting various differences, enabling peaceful and harmonious coexistence, especially among students in schools. The research findings indicate that the analysis of multicultural education in history lessons with Islamic content at SMA Negeri 11 Medan has been conducted effectively. History researchers employ various approaches and strategies that consider the diversity of students. They explore diverse Islamic historical sources and utilize methods such as discussions, group assignments, and field activities to enhance students' understanding of Islamic history. Additionally, collaborative efforts between teachers, schools, and relevant stakeholders are necessary to create an inclusive learning environment that supports the diversity of students.

Abstract

The moral crisis faced by students today is a serious issue in the field of education. One strategy that can be used to address this problem is by integrating history education with character education in Madrasahs. This research aims to evaluate the role of history teachers in addressing students' ethical crisis through history education with character education in Madrasah Aliyah Tahfizhil Quran. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data is collected through classroom observations, interviews with history teachers, and analysis of documents related to the history education and character education programs in Madrasah Aliyah Tahfizhil Quran. The data is then analyzed descriptively and interpretatively to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the role of history teachers in addressing students' ethical crisis. The research findings show that history teachers play an important role in addressing students' ethical crisis through history education with character education. History teachers not only convey historical facts but also build ethical awareness and promote positive values in students. They use interactive and contextual teaching methods and utilize historical sources that are relevant to the desired character values. In addition, Madrasah Aliyah Tahfizhil Quran has implemented an integrated character education program with history education. This program includes values such as honesty, cooperation, tolerance, and mutual respect. History teachers act as facilitators in guiding students to understand and internalize these character values through history education. Therefore, it can be concluded that the role of history teachers in addressing students' ethical crisis is crucial. Teachers are the main pillar of education in the world.

Abstract

In general, history teachers tend to use methods such as lectures and discussions, using simple media such as blackboards and printed materials like books. However, teachers in Madrasah Tahfizil Qur'an use films as a teaching media, which motivates students to learn and facilitates their understanding and mastery of the subject. This study aims to describe the technique of utilizing films by teachers as a learning media in history, the suitability between the film media and the subject matter, and the students' response to the use of films as a source of learning in history. The research method used is qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques and tools include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing is conducted using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Then, the data is compared, checked for validity, and described. The findings of the field research are as follows: (1) The utilization of film media as a source of learning in history in Madrasah Tahfizil Qur'an is good. History teachers have mastered the steps of using film media and have employed appropriate strategies in teaching. (2) Film media in history learning in Grade XI of Madrasah Tahfizil Qur'an can only be used for specific learning objectives and competencies. (3) The students' response to the utilization of films as a learning media in history in Grade XI of Madrasah Tahfizil Qur'an is very positive. The use of film media in history learning leaves a positive impression on the students, and they are motivated to learn because they can effectively grasp the conveyed material.
