Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance student preparedness in facing disasters through the implementation of disaster simulations on campus. In an era marked by the increasing frequency and intensity of natural disasters, it is crucial for students as the younger generation to possess adequate knowledge and skills related to disaster mitigation and response. The methods used in this program include theoretical education, practical training, and disaster simulation involving realistic scenarios. The results of the program indicate a significant improvement in students' knowledge, skills, and awareness regarding disasters. The simulation also strengthens coordination among students, faculty, and other stakeholders in handling emergency situations. Thus, this program makes a tangible contribution to creating a disaster-resilient campus environment.

Abstract

Kemampuan berbahasa Inggris pada anak usia dini menjadi kebutuhan esensial dalam era globalisasi, karena tidak hanya membuka akses ke informasi global, tetapi juga meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dan sosial anak. Namun, metode pembelajaran yang efektif dan menyenangkan masih menjadi tantangan bagi pendidik. Anak-anak pada usia dini memiliki karakteristik belajar yang unik, seperti belajar melalui bermain dan aktivitas yang menyenangkan. Pendekatan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristik ini dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Dalam konteks ini, penggunaan metode interaktif seperti bernyanyi, menggambar, membaca, dan berbicara dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Penerapan materi ajar interaktif tidak hanya bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa Inggris, tetapi juga membangun motivasi belajar yang tinggi melalui pendekatan berbasis permainan, lagu, cerita, dan aktivitas kinestetik. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan materi ajar interaktif dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di Sekolah Dasar Laboratorium UNG, khususnya untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata "My Family" pada siswa kelas 1. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang efektif dan menyenangkan bagi anak usia dini.

Abstract

Virtual reality tour is a platform that allows users to visit locations online in real time through 360-degree panoramic images. The technology known as virtual e-tour gives users the impression that they are part of the scenery and makes it easy to see, capture, and analyze virtual data. Lake Ngebel has extraordinary natural tourism potential, but there are still several problems in its promotion. The main problems include lack of promotion, diversification of tourism products, coordination between stakeholders, and unclear tourism image. To overcome this, an integrated solution is needed such as increasing promotion in various media. This community service applies web-based virtual tour technology to provide information that makes it easier for tourists in Ponogoro regarding the Lake Ngebel tourist attraction and makes it easier for the general public to obtain information on the layout of services. Activities during the community service were carried out in several stages, namely: location survey, photo data collection, website design and finally website socialization. The asset data used in this community service were 11 360 panoramic images, 11 information images, and 1 video of a fountain show. The virtual tour website was created using the 3Sixty application.

Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam kegiatan Pembelajaran Daring “English for kids” ini adalah meningkatnya minat dan motivasi siswa dalam belajar Bahasa Inggris, serta bertambahnya kosakata bahasa inggris siswa. Siswa belajar melalui zoom (daring) dengan menggunakan berbagai strategi yang menyenangkan seperti penerapan games, songs, arts and craft.  Siswa dari berbagai tingkatan kelas yang berjumlah 10 orang merupakan sasaran dalam kegiatan ini yang merupakan anak dari anggota Dharma- Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Fakultas Teknik (FT) UNG. Adapun kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan selama 4 (empat) kali pertemuan dengan menggunakan metode yang berbeda serta materi yang berbeda pula.  Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa para siswa merasa senang dalam belajar bahasa inggris.

Abstract

Desa memegang peranan penting dalam ekosistem pangan nasional sebagai penghasil utama bahan pangan. Namun demikian, tantangan seperti rendahnya efisiensi produksi, penggunaan metode konvensional yang tidak berkelanjutan, dan pengelolaan limbah yang kurang optimum masih menjadi kendala. Konsep Green Food Technology (GFT) menawarkan solusi inovatif melalui pendekatan yang berfokus pada keberlanjutan, efisiensi sumber daya, dan pengelolaan limbah berbasis ekonomi sirkular. Kegiatan ini membahas potensi penerapan GFT di desa, yang mencakup penggunaan energi terbarukan, teknologi pengolahan pangan ramah lingkungan, dan diversifikasi produk berbasis bahan lokal. Melalui program pendidikan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan, masyarakat desa mulai memahami manfaat GFT dalam meningkatkan efisiensi produksi, mengurangi dampak lingkungan, dan meningkatkan daya saing produk lokal di pasar. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat, efisiensi produksi, dan diversifikasi produk yang mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini menegaskan pentingnya sinergi antara pemerintah, akademisi, dan masyarakat guna menerapkan GFT sebagai strategi keberlanjutan di desa.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia still experiences many gaps and lags compared to other countries. One of the programs of the MBKM policy is Kampus Mengajar, which aims to help improve the quality of education in elementary, junior high, and senior high schools/vocational schools. The purpose of this activity is to find out the implementation of collaborative actions by Kampus Mengajar Batch 8 students, in an effort to improve numeracy literacy, administration, technology adaptation, student character development, and environmental conservation. The data used is qualitative data using descriptive methods. The Kampus Mengajar Batch 8 program will be implemented in September - December 2024. The stages of implementing activities include planning, implementation and evaluation. The implementation of the collaborative action of the Kampus Mengajar Batch 8 program in 2024 went very well and had an impact, especially on the academic abilities of students. In addition, this collaborative action succeeded in creating a very good emotional bond between teachers, students and students.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide assistance. This service program aims to help partners analyze the calculation of the cost of production and calculate depreciation costs for fixed assets and electricity costs to factory overhead costs so that the cost of production reflects the correct price. This is because Partners still use simple and simple calculations. In calculating the cost of production, the Wong Kito Palembang Gallery UMKM Junputan Business has not classified costs correctly. To get a solution, apart from being given knowledge and skills related to financial bookkeeping, partners are also given assistance in calculating the cost of production for orders.

Abstract

Digital literacy is an urgent need in education, particularly in remote areas, to bridge the technology gap and enhance the quality of learning. This study aims to evaluate digital literacy programs for students and teachers in remote areas by highlighting the challenges and opportunities for implementation. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, questionnaires, and document analysis. The findings reveal that limited infrastructure, low teacher competency, weak managerial roles of school principals, and minimal community support are the primary challenges. Nevertheless, some schools have shown progress through community collaboration and continuous training. This study concludes that digital literacy programs require a holistic approach encompassing infrastructure development, teacher competency enhancement, policy formulation, and community involvement.
