Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of Stop Bullying Socialization activities at SDN 1 Andowengga and its impact on student behavior. Bullying is an aggressive action that can have a negative impact physically, emotionally, and socially, especially on elementary school students. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the subject of class V–VI students. Socialization activities include interactive lectures, discussions, educational video screenings, role-playing, and Stop Bullying declarations. Data was collected through observation, interview, documentation, and questionnaire, then analyzed descriptively. Research results show that socialization succeeds in increasing students' understanding of bullying, fostering empathy, and encouraging mutual respect and caring behavior towards friends. The change in positive attitude can be seen from the reduction of small conflicts, increased cooperation, and the courage of students to report bullying behavior. The success of the activity is supported by the active involvement of teachers and principals, as well as an interactive approach that emphasizes direct experience. Although some challenges still arise, this activity is effective as a preventive and educational step in creating a safe, comfortable, and bullying-free school environment. Research results can be a model for other schools in the development of bullying prevention programs sustainably.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to optimize education and strengthen the capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in developing the local economy in Bataguh Village, Pulau Kupang, Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan. The MSME potential in this village is quite diverse, including lukah (traditional fish traps), lanjung or woven baskets, kencur powder, crackers, chips, and dodol. However, business development still faces several major challenges such as limited capital, weak market access, low digital literacy, and limited human resource capacity. The implementation method used a participatory approach through initial surveys, training, mentoring, and evaluation stages. The training materials included micro business management, conventional and digital marketing strategies, simple financial bookkeeping, and product and packaging quality improvement. The results of the activity indicate an increase in participants’ understanding of business management, the importance of branding and digital marketing, and awareness of forming joint business groups. This activity has had a positive impact on the motivation and readiness of MSME actors to develop businesses based on local potential. The optimization of MSME education has proven to be an effective strategy in strengthening community-based local economic development.

Abstract

The development of literacy skills in early childhood is the primary foundation for subsequent educational success. Literacy is not simply the ability to read and write, but also the ability to understand meaning, think critically, and express oneself. During the early years (0–6 years), children's brains develop rapidly, making it the golden age for instilling literacy habits. However, the reality on the ground shows that early childhood reading interest remains low. Many children are more interested in gadgets than books. This requires the active role of teachers and parents in fostering a culture of literacy through enjoyable activities that are developmentally appropriate.

Abstract

Vocabulary mastery (mufradat) is a fundamental component in learning Arabic. However, children in Ciririp Village face environmental challenges, as the language is neither used in daily communication nor taught in formal schools. This community service program aimed to implement the singing method as an enjoyable learning strategy to improve basic Arabic vocabulary mastery among elementary school–aged children. The program was conducted through an Arabic tutoring initiative (LEBAR) over six meetings from January 23 to February 2, 2026, at the Al-Hidayah Mosque Hall in Panyingkiran, involving 15 students. The learning materials focused on daily vocabulary such as greetings, body parts, family members, and simple conjunctions, which were delivered through educational songs. Observations indicated high enthusiasm and active participation among the students during the learning process, while evaluation through picture-based exercises revealed improvement in their ability to recognize, memorize, and pronounce vocabulary. The findings demonstrate that the singing method effectively creates a positive learning environment, reduces anxiety, and strengthens long-term memory of Arabic vocabulary among children in non-Arabic-speaking areas. Therefore, it can serve as an innovative and contextual alternative approach to language learning.

Abstract

Gout is an inflammatory joint disease commonly experienced by older adults, causing chronic pain and limitations in mobility. Non-pharmacological approaches such as acupressure can serve as a safe and easy complementary therapy that can be performed independently. Health education for older adults requires a specific approach that considers cognitive, sensory, and psychosocial aspects. The gerontological education model (Geragogy) is a learning approach designed according to the characteristics of older adults, using slow-paced delivery, repetition, clear visual aids, and direct practice. This community service activity aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of older adults in performing acupressure to reduce gout complaints. The program was conducted in Neglasari District, Tangerang City, through interactive lectures, demonstrations, repeated practice, and individual assistance. Evaluation was carried out using pre- and post-tests as well as skills observation. The results showed an increase in knowledge from low to moderate and high categories, and most participants were able to perform acupressure independently. These findings indicate that the geragogy-based approach is an effective initial step for providing sustainable health education for older adults.
