Abstract

Pancasila, as the foundation of the state and a guideline for the life of society, needs to be applied concretely in daily activities so that it does not remain merely an idea without practice. Instilling the values of Pancasila is important from early childhood, as children at this stage are more easily guided and shaped. This activity focuses on internalizing the values of the first principle, “Belief in the One and Only God,” and the third principle, “The Unity of Indonesia,” through the introduction of religious teachings according to each child's belief and the habituation of attitudes such as mutual respect and cooperation. Group 1 of the Pancasila Education course at the State Islamic University Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung carried out an activity to actualize Pancasila values at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah Nurul Ilmi, Kp. Tanjakan Muncang RT 002/RW 007, Cileunyi Wetan Village, Cileunyi District, Bandung Regency, on October 28, 2025. The material provided included introductions to basic Islamic teachings and daily prayers, delivered through learning-by-playing methods and the provision of gifts as motivation for the children. This activity aims to help the students understand religious values and the value of unity in a simple way, enabling them to practice these values in their daily lives.

Abstract

The assistance program for the creation of the Business Identification Number (Nomor Induk Berusaha / NIB) through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system in Mojopuro Village, Jatiroto District, Wonogiri Regency, was implemented as an effort to improve community understanding of the importance of business legality while encouraging the independence of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The method used in this activity was a qualitative approach with descriptive techniques. The program was conducted in two stages: socialization and outreach at the Mojopuro Village Hall, followed by direct assistance at the community service post. The results showed an increase in business actors’ understanding of the benefits of NIB, the ease of the OSS registration process, and legal awareness regarding business legality. A total of 26 MSMEs successfully obtained official NIBs. This program also encouraged the village government to commit to continuing the assistance activities independently. Thus, assistance in NIB registration not only enhances business legality but also strengthens economic empowerment and sustainable digital literacy within the rural community.

Abstract

The maintenance of oral and dental health must receive special attention from both teachers at school and parents at home. Most elementary school–aged children are still dependent on their parents, especially their mothers, for the maintenance of their dental health. At school, it is advisable for every school to have a School Dental Health Program (UKGS) that can help monitor students’ dental health. One indicator of human quality of life is health. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve a person’s oral and dental health, one of which is by preventing the occurrence of dental caries through providing education about the benefits of applying fissure sealant materials to tooth surfaces that have deep pits and fissures. Prevention using fissure sealants is especially appropriate for the first permanent molars that erupt at the age of 5–6 years. At this age, children do not yet understand how to properly maintain oral and dental hygiene, including correct toothbrushing techniques. Therefore, information about the application of fissure sealants to prevent early caries is very important to be conveyed to children, especially to teachers in elementary schools. The expected outcome after this community service activity is an increase in children’s knowledge about how to prevent early dental caries through the application of fissure sealants.

Abstract

Maps are strategic instruments in presenting spatial information, functioning not only as visualization media but also as analytical tools to understand regional conditions, identify potentials, and formulate directions for sustainable development. In Busung Village, Seri Kuala Lobam District, Bintan Regency, local potentials remain poorly documented and difficult to access, resulting in suboptimal utilization in both development planning and tourism promotion. This condition poses a challenge for local authorities and communities to provide spatial information that is accurate, attractive, and easily understood. To address this issue, a Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata/KKN) was carried out through QGIS-based mapping using a descriptive and participatory approach involving local communities and village officials. Data were collected through field observation, interviews, documentation, and satellite imagery processing using QGIS software. The mapping results not only display the administrative boundaries but also visualize the distribution of public facilities, natural attractions, cultural heritage sites, and conservation areas such as mangrove plantations. This activity expands access to spatial information for the community and stakeholders to better understand the geographical characteristics of Busung Village. Through this program, local residents gain hands-on experience in utilizing spatial technology to support decision-making, tourism promotion, and environmental conservation. Therefore, QGIS-based mapping serves not only as an educational and promotional medium but also as a strategic instrument to strengthen village identity and to promote inclusive, participatory, and sustainable development at the local level.

Abstract

Adolescent health screening is an important strategy for the early detection of common health problems among school-aged students. This activity was conducted through an academic collaboration between the Institut Kesehatan Helvetia (IKH) Medan, Indonesia, and Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Malaysia, as part of an international community engagement program. The health screening program implemented at SMP Amanah 1 included anthropometric measurements, blood pressure assessment, personal hygiene evaluation, nutritional status assessment, and identification of basic health complaints. The purpose of this activity was to obtain an overview of students’ health status while simultaneously increasing their awareness of the importance of healthy lifestyle behaviors. The program was carried out using a structured approach involving direct physical examinations, brief interviews, and health education sessions. The screening results indicated that a proportion of students were still at risk of nutritional problems and exhibited unhealthy lifestyle habits. International academic collaboration enhanced the quality of the screening process through the exchange of examination practices and educational approaches. This activity is expected to serve as a promotive–preventive model that can be implemented in other school settings. Overall, the screening program made a meaningful contribution to efforts to improve adolescent health, increased students’ understanding of the importance of regular health monitoring, and strengthened teachers’ capacity to support healthy habits at school. Furthermore, the screening findings may serve as a basis for developing more targeted follow-up health interventions. Thus, health screening based on international collaboration has significant potential to strengthen adolescent health in the long term.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology, especially the internet, has driven significant changes in the world of education, including in higher education. One form of its application is the use of a Moodle-based e-learning system as a means of supporting the learning process. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Moodle-based e-learning in improving the effectiveness of learning activities at AMIK Stikom Tunas Bangsa Siantar, and compare it with conventional learning methods. The research method used is a combination of qualitative and quantitative, involving 43 third-semester students in the Computer Architecture and Organization course. Data collection techniques include interviews, open and closed questionnaires, observation, documentation, and tests to measure learning outcomes. The research process is carried out in three stages, namely the preparation stage (preparation of RPS and Moodle-based modules), the implementation stage (implementation of synchronous and asynchronous learning), and the reporting stage (analysis of results and preparation of scientific articles). The research results show that implementing Moodle-based e-learning offers several advantages over conventional methods, such as increased interaction between lecturers and students, flexibility in learning time and location, ease of access to materials, and ease of online learning evaluation. Furthermore, e-learning also encourages lecturers to be more creative in developing digital teaching materials and improving their skills in utilizing educational technology. Therefore, it can be concluded that implementing Moodle-based e-learning can improve the quality of the learning process in higher education. The success of its implementation depends not only on the readiness of software, hardware, and internet networks, but also on the lecturers' competence in effectively managing digital learning systems.

Abstract

Leato Utara Sub-district, Gorontalo City, is an area with a high level of landslide hazard due to its hilly topography, steep slopes, and relatively high rainfall intensity. The main problem faced by the community is the low level of knowledge and preparedness in dealing with potential landslide disasters. This Community Service Program (CSP) aims to enhance community knowledge, awareness, and capacity in landslide disaster mitigation through education and assistance activities. The implementation methods include disaster mitigation counseling, participatory discussions, preparedness simulations, and mentoring in the formulation of simple mitigation measures based on local conditions. The target beneficiaries are residents living in landslide-prone areas of Leato Utara Sub-district. The results indicate an improvement in community understanding of the causes, early warning signs, and mitigation measures for landslides, as well as increased community preparedness in responding to potential disasters. In addition, the establishment of a shared understanding regarding preventive actions and emergency response serves as an indicator of the program’s success. This community service activity is expected to contribute to the development of a more resilient and disaster-prepared community in Leato Utara Sub-district, Gorontalo City.

Abstract

Environmental degradation, particularly the decline of forest cover and green open spaces, remains a significant challenge in achieving sustainable regional development. As an effort to enhance public awareness and community participation in environmental conservation, this community service activity was conducted through the commemoration of Indonesia’s Tree Planting Day (Hari Menanam Pohon Indonesia/HMPI) and the National Tree Planting Month (Bulan Menanam Nasional/BMN) in 2025 in Banten Province. This activity aimed to strengthen multi-actor collaboration in regional greening efforts and to encourage active community involvement. The community service was implemented using a collaborative approach involving local government, the NGO Pattiro, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the industrial sector, students, and the community. The activities included environmental education, discussions/webinars, and direct tree-planting actions. The results indicate increased cross-sectoral participation, the growth of collective awareness regarding the importance of environmental greening, and the formation of cooperative networks in regional environmental management. However, the sustainability of the activities still faces challenges, particularly related to program continuity and the absence of formal institutional mechanisms to support long-term collaboration. This community service activity demonstrates that multi-stakeholder collaboration is an effective strategy for supporting sustainable environmental governance at the regional level.

Abstract

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), early marriage is a marriage in which one or both partners are still categorized as children or adolescents under the age of 19 years. According to the Indonesian Law No. 1 of 1974, Article 7 paragraph 1, marriage is only permitted if the male has reached the age of 19 years and the female has reached the age of 16 years. If they are below this age, it is referred to as early marriage. In general terms, early marriage is a formal institution that binds two individuals of the opposite sex who are still adolescents into a family relationship. Adolescence itself is a transitional period from childhood to adulthood, during which individuals experience rapid changes in various aspects of life. They are no longer children in terms of physical appearance, attitudes, ways of thinking, and behavior, yet they are not fully mature adults. The factors causing early marriage include economic conditions, education, parental influence, mass media and the internet, pregnancy outside of marriage, customs and culture, and adolescent emotionality. Early marriage is not recommended for several reasons, including an increased risk of sexually transmitted diseases, higher incidence of sexual violence, increased pregnancy risks, psychological problems, and a higher risk of low social and economic status.
