Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of internship experience and career guidance on job readiness of Vocational High School (SMK) students in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Muara Bungo. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research with a comparative causal approach (Expost Facto). Data collection was done through indirect communication techniques, direct communication techniques, and documentary studies, using instruments in the form of questionnaires and documentation. The population of this study were all XII grade students at SMK N 1 Muara Bungo. The sampling technique used was Propotional Random Sampling. Data analysis was carried out with the following steps: (1) descriptive analysis; (2) prerequisite test analysis includes normality test, linearity test, and multicollinearity test; (3) hypothesis testing through simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that internship experience has an influence of 45.5% on the work readiness of vocational students in the field of ICT in Muara Bungo. Furthermore, career guidance has an influence of 35.5% on the work readiness of the same students. Furthermore, the results show that pre-service learning experience and career guidance together have an influence of 54.9% on the work readiness of vocational students in the field of ICT in Muara Bungo.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) proficiency of normative teachers in SMK Negeri 11 Pandeglang. Normative teachers need to integrate technology into teaching to make it more effective. The research employs a quantitative descriptive method with a census as the sampling technique. Participants include normative teachers from SMK Negeri 11 Pandeglang. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews, processed using SPSS 26. The results indicate that the TPACK proficiency of normative teachers is considered good. The average TPACK score is 142.00 with a standard deviation of 15.06, and the majority of teachers fall into the moderate category. TPACK component analysis reveals that teachers possess a solid understanding of technology (TK) and pedagogy (PK), as well as sufficient content knowledge (CK). Their ability to integrate technological content knowledge (TCK), pedagogical content knowledge (PCK), and technological pedagogical knowledge (TPK) is also commendable. There is no significant difference in TPACK between male and female normative teachers, with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.526 > 0.05. This underscores the strong contribution of teachers' knowledge in technology, education, and content to their TPACK proficiency. In the era of technological advancement, these findings emphasize the importance of teachers possessing these skills to deliver effective education.

Abstract

The study aims to determine how much the effectiveness of the Learning Management System Platform as a Blended Learning Media on Student Learning Motivation. This type of quantitative research is pre-experimental, the research design used is one group pretest postest. This research was conducted at SMKN 1 Kota Serang, with a population of X TKJ class totaling 78 people where the researchers previously conducted instrument trials, the researchers then conducted research through questionnaires., the sample in the study of X TKJ 1 class students as many as 38 people and data analysis was carried out by descriptive analysis test, hypothesis testing and n-gain test. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the data was normal and the results of the learning motivation questionnaire were 70.18% for the pretest and 90.26% for the posttest, while the results of the hypothesis test with the results of the Sig. value obtained was 0.000 <0.05 which means that the H0 hypothesis is rejected and the Ha hypothesis is accepted, supported by the n-gain test obtained of 0.67 (medium) for learning motivation. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest, hypothesis testing and n-gain test, it is concluded that the use of the Diriku Learning Management System platform as a Blended Learning-based learning media is effective on student learning motivation with moderate criteria.

Abstract

Teaching factory learning plays a significant role in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit, which is the process of developing and implementing creativity and innovations to improve the economy. This research aims to determine the management of teaching factory learning in developing the students' entrepreneurial spirit at SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The research method applied is a case study method with data collection through in-depth interviews. The research results show that the teaching factory learning management has been running well—as can be seen from the optimal functioning of each management function. However, it is necessary to develop more specific teaching factory learning to be competent to provide a more tangible picture for each student, especially in developing an entrepreneurial spirit. With this research, an overview of implementing the teaching factory learning practice that is appropriate, correct, and effective can be discovered in more depth.

Abstract

Based on the observation, the teacher has not used interesting learning media, the learning media used is only in the form of whiteboard media and powerpoint media, where the media used has not been able to help deliver the material accurately and clearly so that students do not understand the material being taught. Limited material sources are only in the form of textbooks that are no longer suitable for use and are only owned by the teacher, so students have difficulty reviewing the material independently. Based on these problems, this research aims to develop interactive learning media based on Adobe Animate that is valid, practical, and effective in 2-dimensional animation subjects. This type of development research is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D (four-D) development model which consists of four stages, namely, (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develop, and (4) Disseminate. The results of this development research are obtained based on the results of the development test. (1) Validity test, the results obtained were 0.79 (media aspects) and 0.82 (material aspects) with valid categories. (2) Practicality test, with a teacher response of 82.35% and a student response of 81.32% with a practical category. (3) Effectiveness test, obtained from student learning outcomes that reached 86.7% KKM classically and the results of paired t test data analysis showed an increase between Pretest and Posttest of -9.9604. Based on the test results obtained, it is concluded that the interactive media is effective.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of interactive learning media using Macromedia Flash 8, which is not only proven to be valid, practical, and effective, but also aims to improve the quality of ICT learning for grade X students at MAN 3 Bungo. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method and the 4D development model, this study successfully designed an interactive learning media that reached a validity level of 79.44%, with media, material, and language aspects met. In addition, teacher and student responses to the practicality of this media reached a high percentage, namely 93.86% and 88.22%. The effectiveness test results showed that the classical test results had reached 85%, exceeding the set KKM. Overall, it can be concluded that this learning media is a relevant and effective innovation in improving ICT learning, with positive implications for future learning media development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA materi sistem peredaran darah manusia dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar pada siswa kelas V SDN Sawitan Kabupaten Magelang Tahun 2022/2023 setelah pelaksanaan model Discovery Learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga tahap kegiatan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan dan observasi, serta refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sawitan Kabupaten Magelang dengan jumlah 23 siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa serta tes tertulis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Tingkat hasil belajar IPA materi Sistem Perdaran Darah Manusia pada siswa kelas V SDN Sawitan setelah pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan model Discovery Learning pada siklus I secara rata-rata adalah 69,56 setelah dilakukan siklus II secara rata-rata adalah 79,57. Perubahan perilaku yang terjadi pada siswa kelas V SDN Sawitan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan model Discovery Learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA materi Sistem Peredaran Darah Manusia antara lain sebagai berikut (a) siswa lebih aktif; (b)siswa lebih mandiri; (c)siswa lebih mampu Kerjasama; (d)siswa lebih mampu berkomunikasi dan (e) siswa lebih disiplin.

Abstract

This research aims to design a website-based staff attendance application system using PHP and MySQL. This research was conducted at the Besilam Village Office, Padang Tualang District. This research uses qualitative methods with observational data collection techniques and literature studies. The process of storing attendance data for Besilam village staff still uses manual methods. Data storage like this can lead to insecure data. Therefore, researchers will create a computerized village staff attendance application system that is quite adequate web-based where php as the programming language and mysql xampp as the database. From the problems that have been obtained so that researchers can get a solution to their handling by implementing a web-based application for the presence of Besilam village staff. It can be concluded that the application made by researchers can help the village process staff attendance data quickly and safely

Abstract

This research discusses the design of a WebGIS-based Geographic Information System at Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi State Islamic University using digital maps. The goal is to produce a Digital Map at Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi State Islamic University based on WebGIS which includes various displays such as Home, profile, map, information, and contact. The method used is a structured and phased waterfall system development model. The application of digital maps provides advantages in displaying data, images, animations, and internet connectivity that are useful for new discoveries and innovations. The results of the study produced a WebGIS-based Geographic Information System that provides information about the location of buildings and information at Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi State Islamic University through a display that has been designed. This system helps users access information easily and efficiently. This WebGIS-based digital map design has a significant contribution in increasing the accessibility of geographic information, as well as making the research and innovation process more effective and efficient. Based on the data obtained from the results of the questionnaire distributed, it is categorized as very feasible to use.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of experimental methods to improve science learning outcomes on electricity. This research is class action research (PTK). Each cycle consists of three stages of activities, namely planning, implementation of action and observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class 9C SMP Negeri 1 Tempuran Magelang Regency with a total of 32 students. Data collection in this study used teacher and student activity observation sheets and written tests. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative with percentages. The results showed an increase in science learning outcomes of Dynamic Electricity material in class 9C SMP Negeri 1 Tempuran students after the implementation of learning with experimental methods in cycle I on average was 77.1875 after cycle II on average was 83.125. Behavioral changes that occur in class 9C students of SMP Negeri 1 Tempuran in the implementation of learning with experimental methods to improve science learning outcomes in Dynamic Electricity material include the following (a) students are more disciplined in following experimental procedures; (b) students are more active in carrying out all experimental activities: (c) students can cooperate better in groups and (d) students are more responsible in making reports and experimental presentations.
