Abstract

This research is motivated by problems at SMK Pembangunan Bukittinggi, where there is a lack of learning media during the learning process. This causes students to tend to play rather than listen to the teacher when explaining the material. During the learning process, teachers only use limited printed books, so students lose interest due to the lack of variety in the learning methods presented. Therefore, interesting and creative educational resources are needed to increase students' learning motivation. This research adopts the Research and Development (R&D) model, which is used to produce and test a product. This research model follows the 4D approach (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The validity of the product was tested by three experts in the field, the practicality was tested by Computer and Network Engineering teachers at SMK Pembangunan Bukittinggi, and the effectiveness was tested by students at the school. The test results showed a validity value of 0.83, a practicality of 0.93, and an effectiveness of 0.79. Thus, it can be concluded that the design of animation-based wired and wireless network technology learning media at SMK Pembangunan Bukittinggi is said to be very effective.

Abstract

ESP is seen as the role of English in language teaching courses, where the content and learning objectives are determined by the specific needs of a particular group of learners. Likewise, English for Specific Purposes is a stimulus for students' needs and language acquisition relevant to the work they will face in the future. This study aims to find out the use and effectiveness of BOC in conducting the material of engineering class and values of the teaching program and the needs of students. The quantitative study questionnaire is spread out to 200 students. The result shows that 30% of students think that the Buana Online Course (BOC) plays a good role in engineering studies and 25% of students think that it is very important for learning in engineering classes. Furthermore, 30.70% of students agreed that BOC is effective and 26. 50% of students strongly agreed that applying BOC is effective in engineering research practice. These results indicate that a significant proportion of students found BOC beneficial to their engineering studies.

Abstract

Literacy development is a fundamental aspect to be instilled in children from an early age. With the enactment of the Merdeka Curriculum policy, it encourages the need for strategies in its implementation. This curriculum provides flexibility for teachers to adjust teaching strategies to be more effective in developing children's literacy. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, aims to identify, and describe the teacher's strategy in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum to develop children's literacy skills. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that teachers use several strategies in implementing the independent curriculum to develop children's literacy, including the strategy of actively involving children in play activities, storytelling activities or stimulation by talking, using technological media, the teacher's role is quite large in optimizing children's literacy skills, so that children show good literacy skills such as being able to recognize letters, read, write, count and recognize numbers, and being able to express their opinions. The implication of this study shows that teachers need to have strategies in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum and utilizing various learning media to foster children's ability to literacy.

Abstract

As climate change caused by human work continues to increase dramatically, one of the efforts that can be made is to encourage the growth of the green economy. Vocational high schools (SMK) are seen as one of the institutions that should play a role in the growth of green jobs and industries by equipping students with green job skills. Therefore, the first effort is to map the extent to which teachers and students have these skills, so the purpose of this study is to measure the level of generic green skills (KHG) in teachers and students which includes dimensions of cognitive, interpersonal and intrapersonal competencies. In addition, looking at the differences between dimensions as a whole was also carried out. The survey method was adopted with the help of KHG questionnaire instruments in SMKs that have Adiwiyata status. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, and ANOVA-Dunnet C Test. As a result, the KHG description of students still shows a low category, while teachers get a high category. However, teachers' KHG was not evenly distributed in each dimension. The interdimensional analysis did not show significant differences, both for teachers and students. These results indicate that there is still a need to strengthen teachers' pedagogy, especially in dimensions and indicators that are still weak. The last recommendation in improving KHG requires synergy from various fields, including society in general.

Abstract

In the growing digital era, online academic guidance and counseling is a practical solution in supporting students in achieving student academic success. This article aims to explore the level of student satisfaction with academic guidance and counseling provided online by academic supervisors in the Electrical Engineering Study Program at Padang State University. The research method in this study uses a quantitative approach with a questionnaire instrument. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate a fairly high level of satisfaction from students towards academic guidance and counseling conducted by academic supervisors online. The findings of this study provide valuable insights for universities in understanding the needs of students related to guidance and counseling in the digital era. This research opens up future research opportunities to develop a more interactive and user-friendly platform to support online academic guidance and counseling.

Abstract

Both now and in the future, the governance of information technology services is evolving at a rapid pace. Information technology is essential to the performance of organizations, institutions and companies in the modern era. In addition, information technology can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of decision-making. Information technology services are used in all fields, especially in education. For example, MA Darussalam Pangkalpinang has used information technology to support academic and business activities, but it has not been audited. The school's information system has not been integrated and cannot support business processes. Based on the Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) 2019 framework, this research investigates the design of information technology (IT) governance at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Darussalam Pangkalpinang. This research uses a qualitative approach, where data is collected through interviews with MA Darussalam Pangkalpinang stakeholders and literature study. This research reviews the existing information systems and uses the COBIT 2019 framework to create an IT management plan for MA Darussalam Pangkalpinang. This plan will help andsupport business processes to run in accordance with regulations and requirements, as well as improve the integration and efficiency of school information systems.

Abstract

The problem in this study is due to the limited use of electronics, especially related to STEAM. The purpose of this research is to produce STEAM-based e-LKPD assisted by CANVA on the subject matter of matter and its changes to support differentiated learning in elementary schools. The type of research conducted is Research and Development (R&D). The development model uses ADDIE. The research sample was 27 students. Based on the results of data on the validation test, 84.09% (language), 89.28% (practicality) with a very valid category. (2) Validation test, 94.44% (teaching module), 91.66% (material) with a very valid category. Validation test, 94.64% (graphics), 97.5% (presentation construct) with a very valid category. Validation test, 76.92 (test) with valid category. The implications for the development of STEAM-based e-LKPD assisted by CANVA can be used to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze the implementation of the Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (Man) 2 Karawang. The method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach model and literature study in this research. The data collection used is the documentation method. The data sources for this research were obtained from relevant literature such as books, academic articles and journals related to the selected topic. The results of this research are the SLiMS planning, the Principal of MAN 2 Karawang makes a time schedule, namely in the form of programs that will be planned. Such as short-term programs, medium-term programs and long-term programs. Then in the recruitment system, staff are selected according to their skills, abilities, knowledge and strong will. The implementation of the Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) activities at the MAN 2 Karawang library has been quite effective. Since 2019 MAN 2 Karawang has been using SLiMS in library services until now. Started making barcodes for two thousand curtilage books which were revised in 2017.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the relationship between interest in learning and use of laboratory infrastructure on the learning outcomes of class X students in informatics subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek. This research is a type of survey research with quantitative methods. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling, the number of samples in the study was taken randomly, totaling 47 students. Based on partial research results, interest in learning was obtained by t-count of 3,418>t-table of 1,678, meaning there was a significant relationship between interest in learning and learning outcomes, utilization of laboratory infrastructure was obtained by t-count of 3,148>t-table of 1,678, meaning there was a significant relationship between laboratory infrastructure and student learning outcomes. Meanwhile, simultaneously interest in learning and laboratory infrastructure shows that the calculated f value is 24,156>f-table 3.21 and the significant value is 0.000<0.05, meaning there is a significant relationship between interest in learning and the use of laboratory infrastructure on student learning outcomes. It can be concluded that interest in learning and utilization of laboratory infrastructure have a significant relationship to the learning outcomes of class.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a 360° microlearning video in a modern physics course on the phenomenon of the photoelectric effect. The research uses the R&D method with the ASSURE development model which consists of (1) Analyze Learners, (2) State Standars and Objectives, (3) Select Methods, Media and Materials, (4) Utilize Technology, Media, and Materials, (5) Require Learner Participation, (6) Evaluate and Revise. However, in this study, it was carried out only up to the Utilize Technology, Media, and Materials stage. Data collection was carried out using instruments in the form of a questionnaire of initial abilities, student characteristics, interviews, and documentation to students of physics education and physics study programs at the State University of Jakarta. The results of this development research were carried out product feasibility testing by experts, namely media experts obtained a percentage achievement of 87.5% with a very feasible interpretation and material experts obtained a percentage achievement of 93.8% with a very feasible interpretation. The results of the feasibility test by experts show that the 360° video microlearning developed is very feasible to be tested on students. The final product of this research is a 360° video as a medium in accordance with the predetermined learning design. This product is published through the YouTube platform to be easily accessed by students.
